Few pop culture events are more chaotic than a Kanye West press tour. The rapper manages to shock fans every time he sits down for an interview, and this week has been no different. West told TMZ on Tuesday that he plans to start a brand new pornography studio under his Yeezy banner. This has been a long time coming, according to the outlet. West plans to launch the porn studio as early as this summer, with the help of industry veteran Mike Moz.

A representative for Kanye West claimed he’s entertained the notion of getting into porn for several years. The difference maker, it seems, is the connection with the aforementioned Moz. As a former boyfriend of Stormy Daniels, Moz reportedly has the experience and the knowledge to make a porn studio successful. At least, in the rapper’s estimation. TMZ reported that the Yeezy porn studio would kick off a “broader adult entertainment division” with Yeezy as the parent company. West has not yet commented on the business plan in a public capacity.

Foot Locker Declines Yeezy Restock Over PR Concerns

According to several confirmed reports, sneaker giant Foot Locker has reported refused to restock their retails stores with the leftover inventory of Yeezys from Adidas for fear of a backlash of supporting West’s endeavors after his anti-Semitic rants last year.

A statement from Foot Locker reads, “While we remain a partner with Adidas and carry a wide assortment of their collections, we will not be supporting any future Yeezy product drops, and we have instructed our retail operators to pull any existing product from our shelves and digital sites.”

When Kanye West made the statements in question in 2022, Foot Locker immediately pulled his inventory of shoes from the shelves and condemned the rapper.fashion mogul in a statement, saying, “Foot Locker, Inc. does not tolerate any form of antisemitism, or hateful and discriminatory behavior.”

At this juncture, he is all on his own and has to figure out how to distribute sneakers and clothes on his own, there is going to be a tough road ahead for him, however, he seems to have a plan all figured out.

According to reports from The US Sun and Radar Online, Ye has hired Doc Charney from America Apparel to run his brand. Moreover, they have fired numerous staffers as they want to cut costs. Subsequently, they have taken to Craigslist where they are hiring interns for the reduced cost of $16 per hour. Overall, this alleged information comes from sources who claim to be close to the situation.

[…] Despite this, he has been advertising for interns to work for him on Craigslist and social media for $16 per hour. He wants them doing everything from pattern making and sample sewing to photo editing and social media.”

The organizations for donations from the relaunch of Adidas bulk of YEEZY products have been revealed. TMZ states the upcoming profits will be split between the Anti-Defamation League and other charities.

The start of the sale will begin at the end of the month. Adidas states a “significant amount will be donated to selected organizations working to combat discrimination and hate, including racism and antisemitism.” It is believed $1.3 billion in products remained when the split between Ye and Adidas launched.

In February, The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) recently reported that Kanye’s anti-Semitic rants were linked to 30 incidents in the US targeting Jewish people.

“These incidents — which include vandalism, banner drops, targeted harassment, and campus propaganda distributions — demonstrate the ongoing influence of Ye’s conspiratorial, bigoted rants,” the ADL wrote.

“Immediately following Ye’s antisemitic comments, which included inflammatory tropes about Jewish power and Holocaust denial, the slogan ‘Ye Is Right’ surfaced online in hashtags and antisemitic accounts. The ADL Center on Extremism has also tracked references to ‘Ye Is Right’ in instances of on-the-ground antisemitic vandalism and harassment nationwide.”

Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the ADL, said in a statement to Billboard that Ye is inspiring people to commit “real-world acts of hate.”

“Kanye West’s repeated antisemitic remarks – and his dredging up some of the worst anti-Jewish tropes imaginable – doubtlessly are having an impact and inspiring people to commit real-world acts of hate,” Greenblatt stated. “As we have long maintained, celebrities and others who engage in spreading hateful tropes need to know their words have consequences. Unfortunately, Kanye’s decision to continue to peddle hatred against Jews is only giving encouragement to people who are already infected with hate.”
