Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES is turning into a full-on phenomenon. The pair first dropped VULTURES 1 last month after repeated speculation and various previously announced release dates. The entire tracklist of the record hit the Hot 100 in the week following its release and a handful of tracks have stuck around. “CARNIVAL” in particular has already been West’s biggest hit in years and has hovered in the Top 5 for a full month since the album’s release.
The album has been played for fans at various listening parties in both the US and Europe. But West is unsurprisingly interested in taking the record on tour. He’s due to perform later this week at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles and wants to spin VULTURES into a full-on world tour. The only issue is that he will have to do it without one of the biggest names in concert promotion around. Live Nation. The company has reportedly made it clear they don’t want anything to do with West following his repeated antisemitic comments over the past two years. According to Billboard, West is bringing back an old friend to try and swing a world tour. John Monopoly has been involved in the rapper since early in his career. He served as West’s manager in the 2000s. He’s returning to the role in an effort to book the rapper a world tour.

Kid Cudi has already had a VERY busy 2024. He kicked the year off back in January with the release of his new album INSANO. The album was originally due out last year but was eventually delayed to 2024. The album features an impressive array of collaborators including Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Pharrell Williams, XXXTENTACION, Lil Wayne, and Young Thug. But Cudi wasn’t done with just the one album as he’s already shared a follow-up to the record.
Last month, Cudi dropped the INSANO (NITRO MEGA) edition. Many fans assumed that it would just be a deluxe edition of INSANO but it turned out to be an entirely new project of its own. It added nearly an hour of entirely original material and added artists like Pusha T, Wiz Khalifa, and more to Cudi’s impressive roster of features so far this year. Fans were expecting a big tour from Cudi, but what they got was even more substantial. Cudi announced 31 North American dates taking place this year in dozens of major American cities. He also revealed 12 European dates he’ll planning on playing next year. Even more impressive might be the roster of talent coming with him on tour. Pusha T, Jaden, Earthgang, and more will be among the opening acts for various shows across the tour.
The tour kicks off later this year in June and pre-sale for tickets begins later this week. Fans who register for the pre-sale now will be able to get first dibs on tickets for the shows next week on March 12. General sale for the shows begins a few days later on March 15. A brawl between fans of Nicki Minaj broke out at the rapper’s opening night performance on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour in Oakland on Friday night. As seen in a video obtained by TMZ, several attendees threw punches at one another in the audience as onlookers screamed out. It’s unclear what prompted the scuffle, but security eventually stepped in to break it up. Minaj’s next show will go down on Sunday in Denver, Colorado at Ball Arena.
As for Minaj’s performance, the setlist included new hits like “Red Ruby da Sleeze,” and “Everybody” as well as classics like “Anaconda,” “Super Bass,” “Moment 4 Life,” and more. Monica took the stage as the supporting act for the night. The two will be performing on the tour through July 14, 2024, when they stop in Liège, Belgium, at the Les Ardentes. In the months before then, Minaj will hit Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York City, Houston, Amsterdam, Paris, London, and many more cities.

When Minaj first announced the shows, she remarked online: “It’s gonna be greater than every other tour combined — like this album.” “Even though this album is called Pink Friday 2, even though we love the nostalgia, all that, etcetera, this will not remind you of another tour. In a video posted to his Instagram story, Ye lamented the fact that he hasn’t been able to secure any venues for a tour. While he did get the United Center in Chicago for his Vultures listening event on Thursday, he can’t get any other locations. He hints that no one wants to book him due to his comments from late 2022. Overall, he looked fairly upset in his video, and it is clear that he wanted some form of help from his friends. Luckily for him, it ended up coming in droves.

On Ye’s IG story, there are screenshots of DMs from the likes of Freddie Gibbs and others with ties to booking agents. As it turns out, there are arenas all over the world that are interested in acquiring Ye’s services. In fact, it seems like a World Tour could happen at the end of 2024 and go into 2025. Some of the locations being touted are Toronto, Houston, Los Angeles, Cairo, Nairobi, Sydney, and a plethora of others. Needless to say, there are still plenty of venues interested in the artist.

She originally announced the tour last year with 37 confirmed dates from the first day of March until early June. The original announcement features dozens of US dates across many major cities and a number of supplementary European stops afterward. Among the 13 new dates are a number of second stops in cities already getting performances.
