Offset’s “Baby Shark” Voice Acting Leaves Fans Stunned

Offset, Cardi B, and their children recently appeared in the children’s animated show, Baby Shark’s Big Show. The famous family appeared as shark versions of themselves – namely “Sharki B” and “Offshark”. In their brief cameo, the couple (and their kids) are chilling in their green room when their security catches protagonist Brooklyn “Baby” Shark (Kimiko Glenn) trying to sneak in.

However, the famous couple’s voice-acting skills are under scrutiny. While some fans have praised Offset, others found his line delivery stilted and awkward. “Idk why but when he was in NCIS, I always thought the delivery of this line was funny lol,” one commenter replied, including a clip of Offset’s awkward line delivery from the long-running police procedural. Check out the clip below and let us know what you think of Offset’s performance.

Megan Thee Stallion Joins The Cast Of Big Mouth

However, Cardi and Offset are not the only rappers that have made animated appearances this year. Back in September, it was revealed that Megan Thee Stallion was joining the cast of Big Mouth. Megan was announced in a 48-second short dedicated to both her character and the Season 7 date reveal. She will play a caked-up hormone monster ready to cause trouble for the already embattled eighth-graders. While the show has proven divisive, Megan joins what is one of the most stacked casts on TV right now. Big Mouth already features Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, and Ayo Edebiri.

Furthermore, Kid Cudi announced this week that he is returning to acting with a new animated vehicle, Slime. The Cleveland musician is set to star in and produce the film about two individuals who set off on a quest to find a cure for the side effects of a medical trial. The film will serve as the directorial debut of Jeron Braxton, an animator best known for Baby Demon. The script is the work of Brian Ash, best known for The Boondocks.

Kid Cudi Shows Off His Voice Acting Skills On Instagram Story

Kid Cudi has never felt the need to restrict himself to one medium. He’s appeared in a number of films and TV shows, often playing himself. But he expanded his horizon even further in 2022 with the release of Entergalactic. Alongside other musicians like Jaden Smith, Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake, Cudi performed as a voice actor in the animated TV special. While he also made an entire album to soundtrack the special, it’s clear the voice acting in it also spoke to him.

Now, in a new series of clips he posted to his Instagram story, Kid Cudi is flexing his voice acting abilities. While fans already knew he could sing, he showed off a variety of voices he can perform in a sequence of short videos. Unfortunately for Cudi, reactions were pretty mixed with a lot of fans seeing the videos as cringey. “Bro pushing 40 doin’ all this theatrics 😭” the top comment on a repost of the videos reads. “being a cudi fan becomes harder each day,” another agrees. Check out all the videos below.

Kid Cudi’s Voice Acting Divides Fans

This isn’t the only time Kid Cudi has found himself being clowned on by fans recently. Earlier this week he threw out the first pitch at a Cleveland Guardians game and it didn’t go particularly well. Like many celebrities he found that throwing the first pitch was a lot harder than expected. Fans online had a good time laughing at Cudi’s pitch which ended up far short and far outside where he was aiming.

A few years before Entergalactic Kid Cudi almost landed a live-action acting role. The rapper and singer auditioned for the lead role in Jordan Peele’s modern classic horror film Get Out. Despite feeling pretty good about his audition he ultimately didn’t get the part. He shared with fans on Twitter that the rejection led him to not see the film for years after it was released. Do you think Kid Cudi sharing his voice acting is cringey or impressive? Let us know in the comment section below.

Megan Thee Stallion Joins The Cast Of “Big Mouth”

Megan Thee Stallion is taking her talents to Netflix’s popular animated comedy, Big Mouth.

However, Big Mouth is far from Megan’s only project in the works. Last year she camoed in She-Hulk and also flexed her comedic muscles during a hosting slot on SNL. Meanwhile, she has a leading role in Dicks: The Musical, A24’s upcoming musical comedy. Furthermore, she is also reportedly in negotiations for a role in an upcoming project from the Safdie Brothers and Adam Sandler. If you’re unfamiliar, the Safdies directed Sandler in Uncut Gems.

Megan Taking Acting Roles And Squashing Beef

However, being bootylicious in animated form isn’t the only thing that Megan has been making headlines for. With a spotlight at the VMAs, Megan took the opportunity to squash any rumors of beef between her and Justin Timberlake. After a video emerged appearing to show the pair arguing backstage at the event, Megan went to find Timberlake to help dispel the notion that there was beef. The pair filmed a jubilant TikTok together as way to let everyone know that it was all good between them.

Meanwhile, a recent scheduling change from Megan has also got people speculating about a fire collab. Megan recently announced that she would no longer appear at the Global Citizen festival in late September. This has led fans to wonder if Megan dropped out to go to Houston instead of New York. September 23, the date of the GCF, is also the same day that Beyoncé is performing in her hometown of Houston. While Megan is not from Houston, she is also a Texas girl. Regardless of what happens, it’s an exciting time to be a Megan Thee Stallion fan.
