Quavo Ordered To Pay $700K For Valet Assault

Quavo recently received a lawsuit from a Louisiana rapper who claims the former Migo stole a QUAVO HUNCHO track from him, but that’s sadly not the end of his legal troubles for this month. Moreover, a Las Vegas court and jury recently ordered him to pay $682K to a man he and his entourage seemingly assaulted in 2018, according to KLAS. For those unaware, surveillance footage captured the moment in which the Georgia rapper and his colleagues jumped valet Antonio Henry at the Encore Hotel & Casino due to an argument. The jury found Huncho liable for the damages, and his lawyer reportedly and dismissively called Henry’s move the pursuit of a “hip-hop lotto ticket.”

Furthermore, the news footage below indicates that Quavo’s lawyer claimed that Antonio Henry did not sustain any injuries and that this case doesn’t appear on any court record at press time. This is some pretty tough news for the trap MC, but it’s also not something he can’t make up in due time. For example, he recently appeared in the trailer for the new film Takeover, his latest crossover into the world of small and silver screens. Still, it’s a streak of bad luck in the courtroom, although that copyright lawsuit remains open.

Quavo Hit With $700K Judgement Over Valet Assault

Elsewhere, there’s other news in Quavo’s life that is much more important and heartening to report on. He and Offset had a call following Rich Homie Quan’s tragic passing, further squashing the mysterious beef between the former Migos teammates. Of course, many fans likely remember that this isn’t the first time that they reconciled due to tragedy. Similar hatchet burials took place after Takeoff’s loss, but it seems like they still had (and possibly have) a lot to discuss.

Back to Quavo’s extracurriculars, another recent film crossover of his was his Ty Dolla $ign collab “IF I FALL” off of the Transformers One soundtrack. We’re sure that some more music releases are on the way, and that he will continue to address any legal issue promptly and responsibly. On that note, we’ll see what comes of that copyright lawsuit, and at least this valet issue is over six years later.

GloRilla Says She Was Racially Profiled At Hotel Valet

GloRilla recently had to hop on her Instagram to tell her fans an unfortunate story, in which she believes she was racially profiled. Moreover, the “Tomorrow 2” hitmaker tried to get her car out of her hotel valet, telling the employee her room number to verify her ownership of the vehicle. Then, he said that there was no way she owned a Mercedes car, saying that it was an expensive whip. Not only that, but he allegedly insinuated that many people stole cars recently, and so he believed Glo tried to do the same. Eventually, she figured things out and resolved the issue, but it still left her not just offended, but surprised.

After all, the Memphis MC is one of the biggest and most buzzed about rising stars of the moment. She just dropped a deluxe version of her breakout project, Anyways, Life’s Great… including Lil Durk, Cardi B, and other notable names. Of course, it includes her massive hit “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” along with a few other hits across the tracklist. What’s more is that she’s carrying the flag of the dominant Memphis scene, and exemplifies it through her sound and style.

GloRilla Calls Out Hotel Valet’s Racial Profiling Over Her Car

Unfortunately, she clapped back at another rapper using her name for clout on a track, adding to the disrespect. On his song “Saweetie” (on which he also name-drops the titular artist), Money Man rapped about wanting a girl with GloRilla’s figure. “Skinny b***h inside my DMs, she remind me of GloRilla,” he rapped on the track. Following a lot of people pointing out the bar to her, the 23-year-old took to Twitter to call out the song and the questionable lyrics.

“Hey guys, what song is this??????????? I hate it,” she quote-tweeted a user who wrote the bar in question to her. Regardless, GloRilla likely has a lot more big things to look forward to that will allow her to kick that dirt off her shoulder. For example, she recently participated in a Tommy Jeans and Aries campaign and paid tribute to the late and great Aaliyah. Jhené Aiko’s 2020 Range Rover Stolen From Valet At LA Restaurant

Earlier this month, both Jhené Aiko and Big Sean celebrated their birthdays. Both recording artists turned 35 this year. While they’ve been surely showered with blessings, they’ve also had their share of struggles to deal with too. Most recently, the R&B songstress witnessed her 2020 Range Rover’s theft while dining with her family at Tasty Noodle House in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, the mother of two left her luxury vehicle with the restaurant’s valet around 8:30 PM last Saturday night. At the time, Aiko handed her keys over to the employee before heading inside to grab a delicious meal with her loved ones. Just 30 minutes later, however, she happened to spot someone driving away in her Range Rover. Though it was unexpected, the California native assumed a staff member was simply relocating her SUV.

Unfortunately for her and Sean Don, the whip was never returned to Tasty Noodle House. It remains unclear who the thief was at the time, but it’s worth noting that the establishment’s valet drivers are all in the clear. Authorities investigating the case have said there was an extra key kept inside Aiko’s Range Rover, making the criminal’s work far easier than they likely anticipated. Police are continuing to search for the missing vehicle, but as of right now, no arrests have been made and no sightings have been reported.

The ordeal has surely been stressful for the “Sativa” singer, but she’s not letting it stop her from celebrating. On Saturday (March 25), she shared a heartwarming post on her Instagram feed, wishing her beau a happy birthday. “We love you!! We appreciate you!! ❤ Thank you for my twin 🥰,” she wrote in the caption, referring to their recently born son, Noah. “You’re doing a great job! Happy New Year and cheers to 35.” See Jhené Aiko’s heartwarming message for yourself below, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.
