Azealia Banks Denies Allegation That She Was Evicted From Florida Home Over Unpaid Rent

Azealia Banks is one of the most outspoken people to ever grace the Internet, but she’s not always on the offensive online. Moreover, if you’ve been on social media today, you might have seen some alleged court documents spreading online supposedly showing that she was allegedly evicted from her Florida home for about $8K in unpaid rent. Apparently, the rapper said she didn’t pay rent due to a rat infestation and sued the homeowners for $50K for harassment. She then denied this rumor outright on social media, which posited that she had 72 hours to vacate the premises, and explained her side of the story.

“Ummm, this is a lie,” Azealia Banks shared on her Instagram Story on Friday (July 5), captioning a screenshot of a report on this eviction rumor from Pop Tingz on Twitter. “Lmao these Miami landlords be despeeeeraaaate. I’ve already moved CXO HQ to 7995 SW 154th Terrace, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. Lmao why do these tostones grease bathing white wannabes in Miami really think I’m gonna play with them? Pop Tingz better correct that s**t.

“You can search the public record… There is no eviction ordered by any court,” Azealia Banks continued.
“The landlord is a drunk with H.Pylori who has been menacing me the entire time I lived there. Sis had her husband come in the house under the guise of fixing some broken outlets TO TAKE PICTURE OF MY F***ING LINGERIE!!!!!! LIKE YEOOOOO. Sucks for them. Because they’re so broke they spent my depost. Owe me over $30K in repairs I had done because they’re too broke to do anything and now this? Lol did sis really try to reveal my personal address…… Well, way to up the ante. Because that was clear intent to cause injury.

“Sis accidentally texted me while having a yard sale saying she selling Hess trucks for $200 girls LOL,” Azealia Banks concluded. “Watch how I work this. You guys are gonna gag. These people have been f***ing with me the last two years I literally have not been able to concentrate. Sis calling me like we besties. Then she drink some wine and the worms in her stomach start wiggling then she cursing me out. I hired her daughter to work at CXO and she stole her daughter’s money. Like goodness sake. I have had it!!!!!!!”

NeNe Leakes’ Former Landlord Attempts To Seize Bank Account Until Unpaid Rent Is Covered

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is reportedly engaged in a legal dispute with a landlord over allegedly not paying 22k in rent for her business. The landlord, MPG-Sugarloaf, served Truist Bank with a summons to collect after receiving a judgment over $25,000, according to court documents obtained by In Touch. A judge determined the figure in November 2023 and it factors in accruing interest. At the property, she ran a since-closed Swagg Boutique.

The summons in question instructs the bank, “to immediately hold all money, including wages, and other property, except what is known to be exempt, including property in safe deposit boxes or similar property that you hold, belonging to the Defendant named above beginning on the day of service of this summons and including the next five days.”

The lawsuit claims NeNe signed the lease in 2017 and operated the business there until 2022. It temporarily closed during the COVID-19 pandemic as well. MPG-Sugarloaf claims she still owed $22k in rent when she vacated the property and still hasn’t paid up. When The Jasmine Brand covered the lawsuit on Instagram, NeNe clarified in the comments section: “Gregg signed the lease not me! He ain’t here.” Her husband, Gregg passed away in September 2021 after a battle with cancer.

The case isn’t the only time NeNe has made headlines this month. She also ranted on social media about her former friend, Porsha Williams, after she apparently declined to work on her Netflix show. “I was later told that Porsha did not show up and said that she did not want to work with me, that we had had issues from the past and she did not want to work with me,” NeNe revealed in a post. Cardi B And Offset Sued Over Unpaid Rent And Property Damage

Cardi B and Offset have been named in a lawsuit over unpaid rent on and damage to a home the couple lived in last year. The couple lived in the Beverly Hills property between early 2022 and October 2022, when they left without prior notice. The landlord noted that the couple were already behind on their rent and utility payments when they left the property. Furthermore, the landlord alleged that the couple left a myriad of damages totally upwards of $85K. The lawsuit is reportedly the final straw after the property tried multiple times to get recoup the damages.

However, the whole situation comes amid the breakdown of Cardi and Offset’s marriage. Cardi herself has said that the couple has officially split and that she is looking to move on in the new year. While Offset has been quieter about the breakup, he did post a picture on his birthday that proclaimed him to be “blessed for another year“.

However, Offset’s nonchalance on his birthday was too much for Cardi. Cardi was reduced to tears during an Instagram Live session in which she discussed her relationship with Offset and the recent scenes from the rapper’s birthday party. “He likes to play games with me. He knows that I’m at my house because he knows I am not doing my most. I’ve been sparing you, b-tch a– n-gga. Your b-tch a– album is sh-t. F-cking doing me d-rty after so many years that I helped your motherf-cking a–. Not even a f-cking thank you,” A clearly emotional Cardi said.

The rant came after TMZ reported on Offset’s wild birthday party. The former Migos rapper was seen surrounded by women and reportedly partied until 5am. Prior to her livestream, Cardi took to X, formerly Twitter, to address her husband. “Mufukas will try you when you at ya lowest and your most vulnerable time. You out here feeling yourself but trust me the tables turn. @OffsetYRN you a b-tch a– n-gga… and trust me imma f-ckin take it there!” she wrote in a series of posts.
