Conductor Williams Calls On Wiz Khalifa, Benny The Butcher, Russ, & More For “Conductor We Have A Problem, Pt.3”

It’s been done! Conductor Williams finally (somehow) has his first rapper/producer project out as of Halloween, Conductor We Have A Problem, Pt.3. It’s the third entry into this series and first since around this time last year. Also surprising is that the Missouri producer wasn’t able to find a distributor for this project. So, he wound up having to fund it himself. For that we are so grateful to have this project in front of us. Overall, this is just a celebratory moment for one of the most consistent in the game.

But this album isn’t just here for kicks, it’s out to show just how talented of a curator he is. For the most part, Conductor Williams succeeds with most of the features holding up their end of the bargain. Rome Streetz, the duo of Wiz Khalifa and Benny The Butcher, as well as Elijah Hooks are some of the standouts. In terms of what Williams is giving listeners, there’s the usual and reliable dark boom bap instrumentals. Additionally, you will hear some hints of R&B thanks to the collaborations from Leon Thomas and Russ to some extent. To no surprise, the former of the aesthetics fare better. All in all, it’s great to have Conductor We Have A Problem, Pt.3 and we hope that the next will one will be even better.

Molly Santana Unleashes New EP “Masonic Musik”

It’s already been a big year for Molly Santana. The LA-based underground artist unleashed her self-titled debut studio album back in April, serving up 14 experimental tracks that boast the influence of various genres. Clearly, Santana had plenty more where that came from, as she just dropped yet another new project.

Last week, she released a new EP, Masonic Musik. Per a press release, the six-track project is intended to be “her most emotionally vulnerable, daring, and accomplished project to date.” Again, Santana’s latest effort incorporates elements of EDM, making the EP fun and experimental. Santana also highlights both her rapping and singing skills on the project, putting her versatility on full display. It features her moody track “Windows Up,” which she released as a single in August of this year.

Masonic Musik arrives after Santana has gotten co-signs from the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade, and more. It also follows her 20-date tour across North America, which she wrapped up late last month. This year, Santana joined Ski Mask The Slump God on his “11th Dimension” tour as well, opening for the Florida-born rapper alongside Hardrock. The 19-20-year-old likes to play around with elements of dance and EDM too, creating a unique blend that should shake up the music industry. She’s already getting co-signs from established names in the industry such as Wiz Khalifa, Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade, and even Ski Mask The Slump God.

The latter brought on Molly Santana for his 11th Dimension tour, which kicked off on June 15 and is running for a while, ending on November 14. She’s soaking up a lot of experience with him, along with fellow undergrounders Hardrock and Danny Towers. Molly has actually been on her tour as well and her’s kicked off on July 25 and is running through August 28. As it stands, she is known for singles like “Chain Swangin”, “Black Ops”, and “Amnesia”. Blu & Aloe Blacc Deliver Impassioned Performances On Exile-Assisted “Love Is Blu”

After just a handful days being out, Blu and Exile’s new single “Love Is Blu” is quickly gaining a lot of traction with listeners. It’s easy to see why because this longtime underground duo is still drawing in ears given their great track record. Both constantly and consistently deliver sound conscious and lyrical hip-hop tracks and projects, including their magnum opus in 2007, Below the Heavens. However, it’s been quite a bit since they’ve collaborated, with 2020’s Miles. However, they will be ending that drought in just about a month with their fourth album, Love (the) Ominous World.

According to Genius, it should be available on September 20 and it will feature 12 songs. Features will include Georgia Anne Muldrow, Fashawn, Cashus King, Pistol McFly, and more. Aloe Blacc is another one of those names to mention and he’s also on this “Love Is Blu” single. It’s the official lead-off track for what will be Blu’s fifth record this year which is simply impressive. Exile lays down a head-nodding instrumental with inspirational horns and thick drums. Blu and Aloe harmonize well on the chorus and the former’s verses are socially conscious and cleverly written. It’s very honest about the current social state of the world and why more love needs to be spread every day.
