Jada Pinkett Smith Recalls Being “Rageful” After Receiving 2Pac’s Ashes From Suge Knight

As her book tour continues, Jada Pinkett Smith shared the story of receiving 2Pac’s ashes from Suge Knight. “Having to receive ‘Pac’s ashes in that way was a really devastating moment … to just get him in this little cardboard box. And yeah, I was very rageful about the whole thing.” Pinkett Smith said. The actress went on to say that there was something about Suge’s attitude in that moment that rubbed her the wrong way.

However, Pinkett Smith played coy when asked if Suge’s behavior made her believe he was involved in 2Pac’s death. “One thing I’ve learned – not to make assumptions. Lord knows so many assumptions gave been made about me of what people think they know front-facing. And there’s always more to the story so I can’t make assumptions,” she said in response.

2Pac Suspect Arraignment Postponed A Second Time

However, despite the flurry of activity earlier this month, the legal proceedings into 2Pac’s murder have once again stalled. Judge Tierra Jones agreed to postpone the arraignment of Duane “Keefe D” Davis for a second time. The motion was filed by Ross Goodman, a prominent Vegas-area lawyer. Goodman argued that he needed more time to determine whether he wanted to be confirmed as Davis’ lawyer. “I’m going to give you two weeks, but in two weeks, we have to get this case moving,” Jones warned Goodman. Davis was originally scheduled to be arraigned on October 4.

Despite this, Goodman indicated that Davis intended to plead not guilty once he was finally arraigned. “I’m not yet hired to review the grand jury transcripts. But the things that jump out, there’s no gun, there’s no car, and there are no witnesses from 27 years ago,” Goodman argued. The not guilty plea will come despite Davis having spent the last few years openly bragging about his involvement in 2Pac’s murder. The various interviews Davis has given, as well as the book he published, are expected to be used as evidence by the prosecution.

U.S. National Breaking Champions To Compete On Paris World Final

source exclusive red bull bc one mumbai recap

On Saturday, August 26th, the prestigious global breaking (also known as breakdancing) competition, Red Bull BC One, concluded its 2023 U.S. season with its National Final held in Philadelphia. Legendary breakers and rising talent came together at The Fillmore Philadelphia, where competitors showcased unparalleled footwork, freezes, and power moves to win over a judging panel of respected breakers and claim the coveted national b-boy and b-girl championship titles.

Welcoming more than 1,200 attendees throughout the weekend, the Red Bull BC One Camp and Cypher USA ends a two-month circuit of electrifying battles and community events across the country, including regional qualifiers in Orlando, Minneapolis, and New York City. In Philadelphia, an elite line-up of regional champions and a selection of wild card invitees battled their way through a 16-bracket knockout tournament.

In the b-girl category, Kate came out on top, following a fierce final battle with Team USA’s Pep-C. Kate’s triumphant win comes after years of pursuing a spot on the Red Bull BC One World Final roster. In the b-boy bracket, HiJack emerged as champion. Finalists Mace and HiJack delivered world class performances, but HiJack’s musicality and infusion of personality into his final rounds ultimately stole the show.

Kate and HiJack will go on to represent the United States at the historic 20th edition of the Red Bull BC One World Final in Paris, where breaking will bless the grounds of the iconic Roland-Garros on October 21st, ahead of its sporting debut in 2024.

Leading up to the event, the breaking community came together for Red Bull BC One Camp USA, which featured a weekend of exhibition battles, workshops, and panels. Hosted by iconic figures in breaking, hip-hop and dance, including B-Boy Flea Rock and Buddha Stretch, Red Bull BC One Camp USA was a celebration of breaking’s storied roots and promising future.

Red Bull has a rich legacy within the breaking community which spans over two decades, beginning with the trailblazing 2 vs. 2 event, Lords of the Floor, which gave rise to Red Bull BC One in 2004. Today, Red Bull BC One is the premiere platform for competition, mentorship, cyphers, community jams, and programming in breaking—nurturing the growth of the athletic artform as it continues to reach new milestones.

Druski On Birdman Beef: “Your Idols Turn To Rivals”

Druski recently took aim at Drake amid the drop of his new album For All The Dogs, trolling the performer by accusing him of taking his song. The comedian shared a clip on Instagram, sitting in a chair while his associate plays Drake’s “Daylight.” Druski then demands he play his own track, which he says sounds a bit too close for comfort.

The clip prompted a response from Birdman, who told him, “Bro you still playin with a real gangsta SMH.” Drake also chimed in with a warning. “Stunna bout to have you come up missing on Gladys,” he added. It’s not the first time the three of them joked about having beef for Druski’s Coulda Been Records skits, but nonetheless, it got some attention.

Druski Discusses Birdman

Druski recently stopped by the Forbes Under 30 summit in Cleveland, OH to speak about his career. He sat down for a chat with the outlet when they brought up his drama with Birdman, asking whether it’s fake or not. “Y’all just gotta keep watching,” he explained. “I gotta peak behind my back.” He continued, calling it an example of when “your idols turn to rivals.” Druski stopped there, insisting that it just wasn’t safe for him to say much else. “I ain’t saying too much that’s all I’m gonna say,” he finished.

Obviously, the back and forth was all in good fun, and their friendship is still very much intact. Recently, the comedian even stopped by Drake’s It’s All A Blur tour stop in LA to show his support. He and his “twin” Rod Wave headed to Crypto Arena at the end of August, and appeared to have a blast. What do you think of Druski’s response to Forbes asking about his “beef” with Birdman? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Druski, Birdman, and Drake.

Michael Jackson’s Legendary “Pepsi Generation” Jacket Up For Auction

Undisputed King of Pop Michael Jackson continues to captivate fans and collectors alike even beyond his untimely passing in 2009. Iconic memorabilia associated with the legendary entertainer often are sold for high prices at auctions. And a new addition to this growing list is the black and white leather jacket Jackson wore during one of his 1984 “Pepsi Generation” ads. While this jacket may not be as instantly recognizable as some of his other iconic outfits, it undoubtedly holds immense historical and sentimental value.

The jacket’s significance is rooted in its connection to Michael Jackson’s involvement with the Pepsi brand in the mid-1980s. Many remember the infamous Pepsi ad that went terribly wrong when a pyrotechnics mishap resulted in Jackson suffering burns. However, the jacket in question hails from a different Pepsi Generation commercial. In the other commercial, Jackson is seen dancing in the streets alongside a group of enthusiastic kids and other participants. This particular ad campaign marked a significant chapter in Jackson’s career. The ad illustrated his wide-reaching appeal, which extended beyond music and into the world of commercial endorsements. The black and white leather jacket, emblematic of his distinctive style, became a symbol of his pop culture prominence.

The Jacket’s Value Could Be Up To $460K

This custom-made leather jacket is now set to be auctioned off through Propstore, with bidding opening on November 10. The estimated value of this piece of music history is substantial, with projections ranging from $230,000 to a staggering $460,000. Given its remarkable provenance and the fact that it once adorned the King of Pop’s shoulders, it’s very likely to reach the upper end of that estimate.

The remarkable journey of the jacket adds another layer of intrigue and value. In a twist of fate, the jacket was initially gifted to Wendell Thompson by Michael Jackson himself in 1983, a year prior to the ad’s release. Wendell, whose father worked as a cosmetologist with MJ, was fortunate enough to cross paths with the legendary singer in Orlando. The jacket was a a personal gift from the King of Pop and holds a unique place in Jackson’s history and personal connection to his fans.

Kai Cenat Surprises Adin Ross With A Pair Of Luxury Watches For His Birthday

Kai Cenat surprised Adin Ross with a pair of Audemars Piguet watches for his birthday. The birthday party stream took place inside a Dave & Busters reportedly rented out for Ross by Drake. Ross, who was turning 23, was shocked by the expensive gift. “Holy shit bro, what the fuck,” Ross exclaimed as Cenat unveiled the gift.

It appears that the two have also made up, as there were rumors that they were beefing, or at least not very fond of each other. A few weeks ago, Cenat dropped a perfect impression of Ross on stream. Cenat began by attempting to suck his own toes before quickly forgetting the idea. He then replicated Ross’ frenetic style. “Okay chat, okay okay. A basketball warehouse with the Kick logo. And it’s all black and green because Kick. And it’s all black and green. It’s all black and green. It’s a basketball warehouse and then Obama rolls up. Thoughts? Thoughts, chat? Thoughts?” Cenat said, punctuating the final sentence with loud, obnoxious claps.

However, it’s not all been wholesome news about Ross in recent weeks. Comments he made on a livestream in late September led to shock and outrage throughout the streaming community.“Did anyone see these pussies that stream on Kick that were like ‘Yeah, we’re not gonna stream on here unless you suspend Ice Poseidon, this is like bullshit’. Like, shut the fuck up! “It makes me mad because Ice is someone who’s kinda like super authentic and real. He’ll never do some fucked shit behind closed doors. If he does some fucked shit it’s gonna be on camera and his community fucks them for that. “It’s like dawg all these crooked ass, pussy ass, leftist, cancel culture, bullshit pussies are the ones doing this fucked shit behind closed doors. You guys are gonna be hung on trees. I said it, bro.”

Ross’ comments invoke the notion of lynching. Furthermore, they fly in the face of the exact behavior that Kick is attempting to crack down on. After the backlash to Ice Posideon paying a man $500 to hire an escort on stream, Kick came out and promised tighter moderation in the future. Kick marketed itself on bigger cuts for streamers and looser moderation compared to Twitch. However, the site has had to learn the hard way that moderation exists for a reason.

21 Savage Officially Granted Permanent American Residency

21 Savage Officially Granted Permanent American Residency

21 Savage‘s four-year immigration battle has finally come to a successful end with the artist being officially granted permanent residency status in the United States.

Savage’s lawyer, Charles Kuck, told The Associated Press that his client has officially become a permanent U.S. resident and may now go overseas, emphasizing the point that the artist had followed “all applicable immigration laws since his initial detention by ICE.”

21, whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, age 30, was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Georgia (where he had grown up most of his life) back in 2019. His visa, which his mother had acquired for him when he was 7 years old, had apparently expired back in 2006. At the time of his arrest, he claimed to be unaware that he had overstayed his visa. He spent 10 days in jail before he was released with limitations- mainly the limitation that he could not leave the United States as long as his case was pending. His case was delayed due to additional criminal charges as well.

However, since ICE granted him the ability to travel within the country, the “Rich Flex” singer had been able to tour, most notably accompanying Drake on his “It was All a Blur” tour. After being granted permanent American residency on Friday, 21 Savage joined Drake to perform in Drake’s hometown of Toronto shortly before announcing that he would be returning to his home country of England for a performance.

While going through the immigration process, 21 had become a vocal advocate about allowing people who were brought to the United States as children to become citizens as adults, namely those within the Hispanic community who like him, had mostly only ever known a life in the United States.

Las Vegas Sphere Dazzles on Opening Weekend, Looks to Change the Future of the Live Concert Experience

Las Vegas Sphere Dazzles on Opening Weekend, Looks to Change the Future of the Live Concert Experience

After years of waiting, the highly-anticipated Las Vegas Sphere finally opened this week with U2 kicking off the venue’s inaugural weekend. And what a weekend it was. The $2.3 billion dollar project was met with amazing reviews with critics complimenting the visuals, sounds, and overall ambience of what some dubbed “the concert of the future.”

The concert’s opening night, which was attended by celebrities such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Josh Duhamel, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, Katy Perry, Jeff Bezos, Jon Hamm, Paul McCartney, Flavor Flav, and more, was preceded by a DJ that drove around in a neon car playing classic pop hits before U2 took the stage (a half hour late, reportedly due to technical issues).

U2 performed two hours of their classic hits (and some new ones) on a rotating stage while the sphere’s domed ceilings and walls changed from digital collages of Las Vegas nostalgia to colorful kaleidoscope imagery to falling night stars to a desert scene that was so hyperrealistic that it almost seemed like concertgoers were outside during the day time.

The Sphere’s architects have noted that until now, no major indoor venues were build specifically for music with many concerts taking place at football or basketball stadiums, meaning that the acoustics and viewing were not always ideal for concerts.

Since July, Las Vegas residents and visitors have already seen the Sphere’s 580,000 square foot fully-programmable LED exterior (the Exosphere) become an eyeball, planet earth, a basketball, an emoji, and much more. This weekend,

The Exosphere consists of approximately 1.2 million LED pucks, spaced eight inches apart. Each puck contains 48 individual LED diodes, with each diode capable of displaying 256 million different colors. The Sphere is 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide. For reference- the venue could fit the entire Statue of Liberty (including the base and torch) inside The interior’s bowl-shaped seating area holds 18,600 and boasts 160,000 speakers with over 260 million video pixels, immersing the audience in the experience while still keeping the performers as the central focus.

For now, U2 has scheduled their two month residency, “U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere,” at the venue although many other artists are reportedly in talks for 2024 performances.

While tickets for the U2 show are pretty costly (starting at about $500), the Sphere also offers “the first Sphere Experience,” Postcard from Earth directed by Darren Aronofsky, with tickets starting at about $49. More info on all the venue’s upcoming events can be found here.
