Sean O’Malley Reveals Why He’s Justified In Cheating On His Wife: “I’m A King”

During a recent appearance on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk, MMA fighter Sean O’Malley opened up about his “open” relationship. The UFC champion revealed why he feels that he should be allowed to sleep with other women, while his wife remains loyal to him. The 28-year-old quotes Andrew Tate in his explanation, which is a good indicator of where he’s going with it.

He claims that he financially supports his wife, Danya Gonzalez, which he says makes it only fair that gets to sleep with who he wants. “I’m a king, I pay for everything,” O’Malley explains. “I treat Danya like a queen. If I get a little p*ss on the side, what does that have to do with anything? I have testosterone running through my veins – it’s that f*cking simple.” He then goes on to say that the entertainment industry and religion have pushed monogamy onto people, which he thinks is “f*cked up.”

Sean O’Malley On His “Open Relationship”

Martyn recalls asking O’Malley if he would be okay with his wife sleeping with other men, since he’s not a fan of monogamy. “Yeah no that ain’t happening,” the fighter says. O’Malley then goes on to explain that if he were an “average Joe,” the arrangement probably wouldn’t be fair. “Andrew Tate explains it well,” he claims, “‘it’s status.’” The athlete adds that his wife is “never fine with it,” though she has been in the past. He describes her “going through phases” when it comes to her degree of comfortability with him sleeping with other women. O’Malley says that since having their daughter, Elena, his wife’s gotten less okay with him doing so.

Martyn then explains that he understands where O’Malley is coming from, as he’s felt the same way at certain points. He says that he’s since, however, started to appreciate the “peace of mind” of having one partner over multiple. “Better man than me,” O’Malley responds. Paige VanZant Net Worth 2023: What Is The Former UFC Star Worth?

In the world of mixed martial arts and professional wrestling, few names have garnered as much attention as Paige VanZant. As of 2023, her net worth is estimated to be around $1 million US dollars, according to FightFans. But how did she amass this wealth, and what has her journey been like?

Paige VanZant is not just any fighter; she’s a former American professional mixed martial artist who transitioned into professional wrestling. Her journey began in 2012, and by the age of 18, she was already making waves in the MMA world. The UFC, recognizing her potential, signed her in 2013. She made an impressive promotional debut against Kailin Curran at UFC Fight Night 57 and continued to build her reputation with subsequent victories, including a notable submission win over Alex Chambers.

However, every fighter’s journey has its ups and downs. After a setback against Amanda Ribas, VanZant decided to explore opportunities outside the UFC. In 2020, she inked a deal with Bare Knuckle FC. Her debut in this new arena was against Britain Hart in February 2021, which unfortunately did not go in her favor. She faced another challenge in July 2021 against Rachael Ostovich, a familiar opponent whom she had previously defeated in MMA. However, this time, in the bare-knuckle format, Ostovich emerged victorious.

While she is expected to make her in-ring debut for the promotion, she has not closed the door on MMA. In an interview with ESPN, VanZant expressed her continued interest in MMA, emphasizing that she’s still young and has a lot to offer.

The figure of $1 million as VanZant’s net worth in 2022 is based on her earnings with Bare Knuckle FC. However, this does not account for her association with All Elite Wrestling. Given the popularity and financial potential of professional wrestling, it’s likely that her net worth will see a significant boost in the coming years.

Hawaii-born UFC Star Max Holloway Slams Government Response To Maui Wildfires

Last week, wildfires ravaged the island of Maui, which forms part of the State of Hawaiʻi. Driven by the perform storm of high-pressure areas and Hurricane Dora, high winds blew the fires across the island. Additional fires started when live electric poles collapsed. Hundreds were evacuated and millions of dollars of property was destroyed. Elsewhere, at least 55 people have died in the town of Lāhainā, with the official death tally now standing at 111. Furthermore, smaller and quickly-contained fires broke out on the islands of Hawai’i and O’ahu.

The fires have been attributed to the spread of invasive grass species like Guinea Grass and a prolonged period of hotter, drier weather. Additionally, recent US National Climate Assessments show that the state has received less rainfall. This is consistent with projections about the impact of anthropogenic climate change. However, the specific cause of these wildfires is as yet unknown. President Joe Biden stated he was diverting “all available federal resources” to Hawaii. Meanwhile, celebrities like Floyd Mayweather made donations to help the victims. However, several people, such as the UFC’s Max Holloway, don’t believe enough is being done by the government to help the victims.

Holloway Slams Government Response

“It’s tough man. Everything that’s going on in Lahaina now is heartbreaking,” Holloway told TMZ from Singapore. Holloway is currently preparing for a Fight Night headliner against The Korean Zombie on August 26. “Here, the state, the government at so many levels, I’m straight up going to say it, they failed the people of Lahaina and it’s kind of heartbreaking. When it felt like they were lollygagging, too, after everything happened, the people, the Hawaiian people, the locals there are the ones that stood up, that took on the responsibility, and are helping, and are still helping as we speak. Man, it’s just super heartbreaking.”

However, Holloway has also rejected the suggestion of pulling out of his upcoming fight. “If I can take their minds off of it for a second, a minute, five minutes, whatever it is, I always go in there thinking Hawaii is on my back. I’m going in there a little bit heavier right now. My main message to the families that are directly impacted, stay strong. We’re all here for you guys. We’re gonna keep this going for you guys. This is just the beginning, and we know. We’re in for the long haul on this fight. The recovery is going to take a long time. Everything is gone, and we know this, and we’re here for the long ride.”

Dana White Confirms Mark Zuckerberg’s UFC Interest

The fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg may be dead, but that doesn’t mean we’re done with the billionaire MMA. Dana White has confirmed that Mark Zuckerberg is indeed serious considering making his debut under the UFC promotion. “He and I talk multiple times a week,” White said of Zuckerberg. “And we had dinner last Monday. He’s very serious about competing. And when he mentioned it, he said — listen — what he was saying in response to Elon was there are tons of professional organizations out there and this is the way this should be done, not in some backyard or whatever Elon was saying.” White, who was speaking with TMZ, explained that Zuckerberg was put off after it became clear that Elon was trying to avoid a formal fight and was looking for something more amateur.

But now, Zuck’s eyeing the UFC. “I would say he is absolutely interested,” White said of Zuck fighting under his promotion. He didn’t give many more details but it’s a major update to the whole billionaire MMA situation. Side note – there has been so many inadvertent pop culture references in this entire debacle. Elon saying that X would stream the fight is straight out of Silicon Valley. Then there’s that plot line in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. when Monica’s dating the super-rich guy who really wants to be an MMA fighter but also sucks at MMA.

When Could We See Zuck In The UFC?

White didn’t give many details. He was primarily on TMZ to hype O’Malley-Sterling, the headline fight for UFC 292 in Boston this weekend. However, he appears very onboard with the idea of the Meta founder fighting under the UFC banner. As previously reported, Zuckerberg is very serious about his combat sports. It’s a big reason why he pulled out of the fight with Elon – he (Zuck) actually cares about this.

Earlier this week, Vicente Luque also weighed in on the idea of Zuck fighting in the promotion. “I definitely think [a Zuckerberg fight is] something that can happen. It does seem like he’s really disciplined,” Luque told TMZ. “He not trying just to hype all this stuff. He’s trying to work the right way, build himself little by little from the ground up. And I respect that a lot. I think it has to be a fight that makes sense. I think it has to be a guy that has kind of like the same level of experience, you know, because competing in combat sports is something that is not only about the technique and the skills you have, it’s also very mental. So I feel like that would be an important thing.”

Mark Zuckerberg Pushes Back Against Elon Musk’s Desire To Control MMA Fight

The proposed MMA fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is once in doubt. The fight has been linked to the UFC as long as it’s been a possibility. However, Musk made the unusual decision to cut ties with the Dana White org. In a tweet, the X/Twitter owner said the UFC was no longer in the picture and that “The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations.” He also said the fight would occur in an “epic location” and mentioned Italy. This comes just a day after White had said he was in active negotiations with the Italian government for the use of the Colosseum as a venue.

Furthermore, it appears that Zuckerberg didn’t get the “bye bye UFC” memo. Speaking on Threads, Zuckerberg cast doubt that the fight would go ahead. “Please assume anything [Musk] says has not been agreed on,” the Meta founder wrote. “Not holding my breath for Elon, but I’ll share details on my next fight when I’m ready,” he added. “When I compete, I want to do it in a way that puts a spotlight on the elite athletes at the top of the game. You do that by working with professional orgs like the UFC or ONE to pull this off well and create a great card.”

Musk Balks, Needs Surgery

However, Elon’s desire to wrestle control of the fight from the UFC is not the only reason the fight is being shelved. Musk has revealed that he is undergoing minor surgery to rectify an issue with his shoulder blade. This means that he will be out of action for several months. The fight likely wouldn’t happen before UFC 300 anyway. Even then, Musk will need time to recover and resume training before he was ready to fight again.

Despite this, there is an interesting part of Zuckerberg’s statement that appears to be going largely overlooked. Not holding my breath for Elon, but I’ll share details on my next fight when I’m ready.” Does this mean that Zuckerberg is planning an MMA debut without Musk? After all, he takes his combat sports very seriously and even has a practice octagon in his backyard. Perhaps one of the reasons that Musk was unwilling to leave Dana White was because he has bigger plans for the UFC beyond his gimmick fight with Musk. This remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates here at HotNewHipHop.

Dana White Revisits Idea Of Hosting Musk V Zuckerberg At The Colosseum

One of the more bizarre elements of the ongoing saga concerning an MMA fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg came in mid-June. Reportedly, someone within the office of the Italian Minister of Culture had reached out to Zuckerberg’s team to offer the Colosseum as a venue for the fight. Zuckerberg’s team reportedly passed the offer on to Dana White. After TMZ broke the story, the Italian government quickly denied the story. Furthermore, renowned Roman archaeologist Dr. Darius Arya believed that the idea was a) impossible and b) likely to face major resistance from the Italian populace.

However, the idea isn’t dead according to White. “I actually did have a meeting with the Minister of Culture’s team in Italy to actually hold that fight in the Colosseum if it would happen. We’re talking,” White told TMZ this week. “Think about how big that fight is — two of the richest, most powerful guys in the fucking world are gonna fight on the biggest stage ever. Who the fuck doesn’t wanna see that fight?? … That’s the kind of fight your fucking grandmother would watch that fight.”

Is Musk V Zuckerberg Happening?

However, despite White’s bold claim, we’re still no closer to the fight actually happening. Musk and Zuckerberg are both training for the fight, despite there not being a confirmed event, date, or location. Many people believe that the fight will be part of the proceedings for next year’s UFC 300. However, a rival promotion just put out an announcement that could throw a spanner in the UFC’s plans.

Bellator, widely considered UFC’s primary MMA rival, announced their main card for Bellator 300 on August 9. The event in San Diego will feature four title fights involving eight established and well-respected fighters. That’s a massive win for the promotion, showcasing their ability to put on marquee events. However, it also throws down the gauntlet for the UFC. When they reach UFC 300 next year, they need to top what Bellator is able to put on. And therein the problem lies – Musk v. Zuckerberg brings you money, but it doesn’t bring you pedigree. It’s a gimmick fight and putting it into an event like UFC 300 will only serve to hurt the brand’s reputation.

Bellator 300 To Feature Four Title Fights

Bellator is putting all the pressure on the UFC after the announcement of the fight card headliners for October’s Bellator 300. The marquee event in San Diego is set to feature four separate title fights in one of the biggest MMA spectacles in recent memory. At the top of the card is Ryan Bader versus Linton Vassell for the men’s heavyweight belt. The 40-year-old Bader (31-7, 1 NC) has won his last three fights, all title defenses. Meanwhile, Vassell (23-8, 1 NC) has won his last five, four by knockout. In another legendary veteran match, Cris Cyborg (26-2, 1 NC) defends her women’s featherweight belt against Cat Zingano (14-4).

However, that’s only half of the title fights at the event. A Bellator Lightweight World Grand Prix semifinal between Usman Nurmagomedov (17-0) and Brent Primus (12-3) will see the Russian fighter put his men’s lightweight title on the line. Elsewhere, Liz Carmouche (19-7) defends her women’s flyweight belt against her teammate Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (13-2).

Bellator Heaps The Pressure On Dana White And The UFC

The card for Bellator 300 puts immense pressure on Dana White to deliver at UFC 300, which will likely take place in Q1 2024. There are a lot of big fights still scheduled in the UFC for 2023, meaning that a lot of marquee fights could be out of commission if UFC 300 is too early in the year. Furthermore, Bellator putting up a card with four serious and legitimate title fights adds another element of pressure to proceedings. A lot of people expect the announcement that Musk v. Zuckerberg will be part of UFC 300. That can no longer be an option. Yes, it will bring in viewers. However, Bellator has thrown down the gauntlet by putting up its big-name fighters. The UFC needs to respond in kind.

Maybe White has a plan. Perhaps Conor McGregor is being saved for UFC 300. However, Bellator is once again proving that parity in the UFC is quickly improving. UFC isn’t the only draw anymore. Furthermore, the promotion as a whole is in a fascinating point of transition. Stars are leaving while still in their prime and there is a definite generational gap. There is a group of young, talented fighters who are quite ready for primetime. Meanwhile, the old guard is quietly slipping away. Of course, there are still the likes of Jon Jones and co. However, Bellator 300 should definitelyy serve as a wake up call for Dana White.
