Cowboys Clowned For Embarrassing Ending Of Loss To 49ers

The Dallas Cowboys‘ season ended on Sunday night in San Francisco following a 19-12 to the 49ers in the divisional round of the playoffs. NFL fans on Twitter quickly began roasting the team for the fashion in which they lost.

Much of the focus of fans’ reactions came in response to the final drive of the game. The Cowboys were able to get the ball back with under two minutes to play and no timeouts. During that time, quarterback Dak Prescott nearly took a safety, Dalton Schultz failed to stay in bounds on a routine sideline catch, and the team drew up an experimental play that failed miserably.

Shea Serrano wrote: “This final drive being little more than a farce with no real chance at victory attached to it is and no real threat to the opposing team is about as symbolic as it gets for the cowboys and for cowboys fans this past quarter century.”

“Cowboys ending back-to-back seasons with the new worst play in franchise history,” Patrick Daugherty further joked.

Another user tweeted: “Cowboys is the funniest team I ever seen in my life.”

Owner Jerry Jones spoke candidly about his disappointment in the team to reporters after the loss: “Frankly, I wouldn’t say surprised. I would say just real disappointed that we maybe couldn’t make something happen.”

Jones also added: “I thought this team, with Dak at quarterback, I thought we had a chance to get to and compete at the top level in this tournament. I really did.”

Chuck D Responds To Rick Rubin’s “60 Minutes” Comments

Chuck D took to Twitter to defend the legendary music producer Rick Rubin after his recent appearance on 60 Minutes. During the interview, Rubin admitted to knowing “nothing about music.”

“No. I have no technical ability. I know nothing about music,” Rubin told Anderson Cooper on the program. “Well, I know what I like and what I don’t like. And I’m decisive about what I like and what I don’t like.”

When asked what he’s being paid for, Rubin added: “The confidence I have in my taste and my ability to express what I feel has proven helpful for artists.”

Chuck D wrote in response on Twitter: “On Rick Rubin I will tell you this. Art is what you feel no one should tell you what Art should come out of you. He gets that. Many artists want things in exchange for their art from love to money. A whole other thing. Rick feels you out in a sea of others wanting the same thing.”

Over the years, Rubin has helped produce for some of the most iconic artists in the music industry. He’s frequently credited with playing a crucial role in popularizing hip-hop, having produced hits for Beastie Boys, Geto Boys, Run-DMC, Public Enemy, and LL Cool J. TIME has also featured him on its list of the “100 Most Influential People in the World.”

Ari Fletcher Blasts Airbnb Owner For Posting Pictures Of Her Inside The Home

Ari Fletcher just put an Airbnb owner on blast for posting pictures of her in their property. While promotion is always important in that business, especially with celebrities, the businesswoman had an issue with the owner violating their privacy. Moreover, she recently took to Twitter to air out her frustrations and generally trash on Airbnbs.

“If I payed for a air bnb like a regular normal customer, why would you post pictures of me inside your air bnb telling people we was there,” she wrote on Twitter. “That’s so unprofessional and I was working on something private. I haven’t been at a air bnb in years and this why cause that s**t ghetto!!!”

Furthermore, the Airbnb owner claimed that Fletcher and her flame, Moneybagg Yo, filmed a cooking video for her YouTube channel. Also, they took the opportunity to promote their listing in a social media post.

“Moneybagg Yo and Ari… filmed there 1st cooking segment together at 1 of our Airbnb properties,” their post read. “Go subscribe to her YouTube. It will be dropping soon and I’ll drop the link in the comments. If you want to book this property in ATL link will be in the comments. All started with a paint brush.”

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old also aired out some other frustrations recently. After G Herbo confessed to cheating on her wile they were together, she felt like she deserved an apology. Still, after things died down, she expressed her more collected thoughts in an online interview.

“I’m not gonna lie, I kind of always wanted him to be upfront and honest,” she stated. “I always felt like it was just me fighting against all of these people, trying to ‘tell my truth.’ Now at this point, I don’t really care. Back then, I would’ve loved that. Take this weight up off my shoulders, tell these people that I’m not trippin’.”

Antonio Brown Appears Unbothered On Social Media Amid Snapchat Controversy

Antonio Brown is being hit with serious accusations of revenge porn right now. This comes after a recent Snapchat story in which he posted a picture of himself receiving oral sex from the mother of his children. In fact, Chelsie Kyriss has already issued a strong response to AB’s actions.

“I have reported his page and all pictures,” Kyriss said. “Unfortunately Snapchat is allowing him to repost. I am very sorry for any of your kids that follow him and used to look at him as a role model. I do not condone these actions as you are aware I have kids involved as well.”

Overall, this is just a terrible look for AB. Additionally, he had his Snapchat account suspended, and he may very well never get it back. Needless to say, reckless actions have consequences, and AB is learning that the hard way right now.

Antonio Brown Tweets Through It

Furthermore, throughout all of this, AB unleashed three tweets onto the timeline. As you can see down below, these tweets don’t speak directly to the situation. Although, they do speak to the idea that Brown thrives off of controversy, whether good or bad.

“Somewhere between psy-chot-ic and i-con-ic,” he wrote. “What more Can I SAY NOW. Don’t play wit me Play Football,” he added.

Fans don’t really know what to make of what Brown is saying here. He has always been pretty ambiguous when it comes to his tweets, and this is yet another instance of that. Hopefully, someone steps in and offers him some much-needed guidance.

Tierra Whack Labels Eminem The Best Ever, Gets Backlash On Twitter

Tierra Whack is coming under fire on Twitter for praising Eminem as the best rapper of all time. She also referred to him as being “light skin.”

“Eminem still the best rapper ever whether you can relate to him or not!” Whack tweeted on Sunday.

She later added: “Eminem is light skin.”

Fans of Whack weren’t happy with her opinion. Many in her replies cited 2Pac, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and even Whack herself as being better than Eminem.

“Ooooh bad take… there’s TONS of rappers from the 90s and 2000s that’s miles ahead of them that didn’t have the same backing,” one fan replied before citing MF DOOM, Mos Def, and Pharoahe Monch.

While many disagreed with her opinion on the great of all time, others defended Whack.

One wrote: “I don’t like the way people on here are dragging Tierra Whack cause she said Eminem is the best rapper. Are y’all that miserable that you can’t allow others to have their own opinion? That’s how she feels and guilt tripping her isn’t going to change her mind.”

Others noted that Whack made the comments on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

“PLEASE DELETE THIS,” another user wrote. “It’s MLK day.”

Despite the polarization of his placement among the greatest hip-hop artists, Eminem is undoubtedly one of the most commercially successful artists in the genre. Over the course of his career, Eminem’s had 10 albums top the Billboard 200 chart. Back in November, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Boosie Badazz Praises Meek Mill After Recent Pardon

Boosie Badazz shared praise for Meek Mill on Twitter, Saturday, after Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf pardoned the Philadelphia rapper. Wolf gave out pardons to a total of 369 recipients during the week.

“@MeekMill Mill GOT A PARDON!!,” Boosie wrote in his post. “THATS SUM Powefulshit [hands raised emoji]!! THATS REAL POWER!! U N YOUR TEAM CAN CHANGE LAWS N BRING ALOT OF REAL ONES HOME FROM PRISON WHO HAVE BEEN WRONGED!! In another post, Boosie further added: “LOUISIANA CAN I GET A PARDON?”

Meek had been convicted on firearms and drug charges back in 2008. He also received a two-to-four-year prison sentence for violating his probation a decade later.

I’m only gone do more for my community on god,” Meek wrote on social media after the pardon.

In total, Wolf has now pardoned 2,540 Pennsylvanians since taking office in 2015.

“I have taken this process very seriously — reviewing and giving careful thought to each and every one of these 2,540 pardons and the lives they will impact,” Wolf said in a statement. “Every single one of the Pennsylvanians who made it through the process truly deserves their second chance, and it’s been my honor to grant it.”

He continued: “A record prevents positive forward motion in a person’s life, and can spark a repetitive cycle of defeat. I firmly believe that with restored rights, pardoned Pennsylvanians prove themselves by stepping up and giving back to our communities.”

Eminem Shares Support For Boldy James Amid Hospitalization

Eminem voiced his support for Boldy James on Twitter, Sunday, following the rapper’s recent hospitalization. James is currently recovering from a serious two-car accident in Detroit, last week.

“Sending out best wishes for a quick recovery for The D’s own @boldyjames!!!” Eminem tweeted.

Eminem isn’t the only rapper to speak out in support of James in recent days. Griselda’s Westside Gunn also addressed the incident in a post on social media.

“I was waiting until the official statement to be released please keep my brother in y’all prayers [open hands emoji],” Gunn wrote. “He’s a strong soul and fighter he’s still talking bout GXFR x 227 forever!!! Just hearing them words broke me down but GOD IS THE GREATEST and BO gonna be better than ever”

Other artists to speak out in support of James include Royce Da 5’9″, Statik Slektah, Open Mike Eagle, and more.

James’ publicist confirmed details regarding his hospitalization in a press release. The statement explained that “Boldy arrived at the hospital in critical condition, suffering from broken vertebrae in his neck and orthopedic injuries. After undergoing extensive surgery on his neck, Boldy has been removed from the intensive care unit and is now in stable condition.”

The statement continued: “Boldy and his family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses that are taking care of him, and also to the communities’ emergency medical personnel and first responders.”

James was gearing up to release a six-track physical EP produced entirely by Real Bad Man on January 16.

Bow Wow Calls For Rappers To Unionize

Bow Wow is calling on his fellow rappers to unionize and wants to use the NBA Players Association as inspiration. The iconic rapper shared his idea on Twitter, Saturday.

“Hip hop needs a board!” Bow Wow wrote before referencing the NBA Players Association as a framework.

He continued: “No different than the NBA [with] the players association. A committee that can set rules, keep things in control, and protect this thing we call hip hop! And have a retirement plan for the OG rappers. I hate seeing my heroes liquored out, no money, just washed.”

The NBA Players Association is the oldest trade union of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada. Bob Cousy and Joe Sharry founded it in 1954. CJ McCollum currently serves as the president.

Despite the comments from Bow Wow, a union for hip-hop artists isn’t necessarily a new idea. The Hip Hop Alliance was introduced back in July 2022 with Chuck D, Kurtis Blow, KRS-One, as well as Doug E. Fresh founding the organization.

“Hip hop culture is the hottest scene in society today,” Kurtis Blow said in a statement, as noted by Revolt. “Everyone around the globe is tuning in to listen to what hip hop has to say. We truly live in a hip-hop generation. Rap music is the No. 1 streamed music on the planet.”

The organization’s website describes the Hip Hop Alliance as a “strategic partnership that represents the needs and concerns of the hip hop and R&B workforce through advocacy, information, and service.”

Blueface & DJ Akademiks Trade Shots On Twitter

Blueface and DJ Akademiks just started some beef over Twitter, and a lot’s been said in a couple of days. Moreover, they sent shots back and forth at each other about their careers and exploits in music. Also, Blueface has been making rounds for his reality show Crazy In Love with his girlfriend Chrisean Rock. However, Ak brought music into the conversation and they fought over their careers.

It all started on Thursday (January 12) when the L.A. MC tweeted “I got way more money then ak why he playing like this.” Furthermore, just a few days prior, the former Complex host tweeted a viral video from Blueface’s show where his girlfriend struck him in the head. However, he later clarified he doesn’t actually have beef with Akademiks.

“I got no beef with ak guys I just use him for promo at this point if he tell y’all what I got going on I don’t have to say much just respond to him every once Ina while an he gone do his job for me for free…W promo,” he tweeted.

When Akademiks clapped back, he said he still supports Blueface. Still, he did tell the rapper to focus more on his music career instead of his other entertainment ventures.

“I fw and love Blueface,” the 31-year-old wrote. While he had his criticisms, he cited good intentions. “I want him not to be in abusive relationship and I don’t want his career and reputation ruined. I want him back focused on rap.”

Even though Ak’s message wasn’t entirely negative, Blueface quickly turned around and heated things up.

“Im the EP of my docu-series,” the “Bleed Em” star wrote. “Ak I’m bigger then rap I’m past rap stop tryna keep me Ina box cuz yo rap career ain’t take off.

“I son ak an let him know he a pawn on my chest board,” he continued. “Now it’s fake care an love I’m to good at the mind games, thin line between love an hate.”

Afterwards, it seems the media personality took that “son” jab seriously. Moreover, he called Blueface his son in his clapback. Also, he clowned the rapper’s head tattoos.

“Please y’all go watch my SON Blueface get knocked out on camera by his girl on her reality show… so that he can get a lil paycheck to pay his mortgage and finance that cheap ass C8. We don’t want him getting no more tattoos of JEWELERS on the side of his head,” he replied.

Then on Saturday (January 14), Blueface took aim at Ak’s music career, comparing their Spotify monthly listeners. Moreover, he made it clear that he doesn’t take his advice seriously.

“Ak please stop talking about people music career,” he asked. “Clearly you don’t have the answers you failed at rap.”

However, the most recent chapter in this saga came swiftly after, with DJ Akademiks reaffirming his support and expressed his disappointment.

“Good morning Blue. Lol just do better bruh. That’s all. I’m rooting for you,” Ak expressed. “U better than being a stand in stunt double for domestic abuse on a reality show on Zeus. Sorry if I want better for u than u want ur self. That $4.99 subscription shouldn’t have u compromising character.”
