Lil Yachty Believes Kai Cenat & Adin Ross Are Richer Than Most Rappers: Watch

With streaming and content creation being bigger than ever these days, it’s no surprise that its biggest influencers are making bank right now. In fact, according to someone with a lot of knowledge in both areas, apparently these stars are making more money than the large majority of rappers at the moment. Moreover, Lil Yachty recently claimed as such in a recently surfaced clip. Specifically, he pointed to his good friend Kai Cenat and Adin Ross as examples of creators with deeper pockets than a lot of MCs today. Of course, this isn’t entirely surprising considering that they’re both fickle but highly lucrative industries, but it’s definitely tough to wrap your brain around for plenty of casual viewers or listeners.

“Kai is my brother, shouts out to Kai,” Lil Yachty said of the exponentially more popular Twitch giant, and took the time to mention some other big names. “Shouts out Fanum, shouts out AMP, shouts out f***in’ Adin Ross. Yeah, for real. The young guys, the young bros, they goin’ cr*zy. Kai for sure got more money than, I think, 90 percent of rappers. 90 percent of rappers, I think Kai got more money than them. Adin too, sure!”

Before that, though, the Atlanta trap, pop, and psych-rock superstar claimed that he and Post Malone were the first rappers to start streaming on Twitch. “I was the first rapper to stream, 2017,” Lil Yachty recalled. “For anyone. There was no streaming- like, Twitch wasn’t even popping. I was on Twitch, it was me and Post Malone on Twitch, 2017, nobody was there. G-check it, no one was on Twitch before. IShowSpeed Unbanned By Twitch

Stream IShowSpeed has officially been unbanned by Twitch. Speed’s reaction was captured live on stream, with the Ohio native saying “N-gga, we are back. Let’s go,” repeatedly. Speed has streamed on YouTube since December 2021, after being permanently banned by Twitch. Despite not actually streaming on Twitch, Speed was banned by the platform following an appearance on an Adin Ross stream. Speed made a number of sexist remarks and even alluded to sexually assaulting a woman while appearing on Ross’ dating show. Furthermore, Speed was a minor at the time of the incident.

The journey to get Speed unbanned by Twitch has been championed by the likes of Kai Cenat. Back in August, Cenat even went as far as threatening to leave Twitch for another platform if Speed was not unbanned. It’s unclear if Cenat had anything to do with the abrupt return of Speed’s account on October 10. Furthermore, it remains to be seen if Speed will utilize his Twitch account or if he will remain on YouTube. However, the return of his account means that he can now appear on streams hosted on Twitch. His permanent ban two years ago also forbid him from appearing on the streams of other creators.

IShowSpeed Science Experiment Goes Wrong

However, it’s not been exclusively positive headlines for Speed this month. Last week, Speed sparked concern amongst his viewers after an on-stream science experiment went wrong. Speed chose to conduct the “elephant’s toothpaste” experiment in his home. The common science experiment, which involves mixing several chemicals together to create a rapidly expanding, thick, foamy substance, is not typically done indoors. This is due to the amount of heat and fumes the mixture can give off. However, Speed did it anyway and fans grew increasingly concerned as thick smoke filled the streamer’s bedroom.

While some outlets have reported that Speed was hospitalized due to the incident, this does not appear to be the case. Slipz, Speed’s cameraman, later confirmed to the audience that Speed was receiving oxygen from firefighters who had arrived at his house. “He was in here too long bro, he’s like struggling to breathe,” said his cameraman. “We’ve got fucking firefighters and shit outside trying to help him. I don’t know what’s happening.” However later, Speed’s own account wrote “Speed is currently with the firefighters, they’re giving him oxygen so he can breathe, he should be fine guys” in his chat.

Travis Scott Supports Kai Cenat In Getting IShowSpeed Unbanned On Twitch

Moreover, Kai Cenat recently expressed his wishes to get IShowSpeed unbanned from the Twitch platform, both on his own stream and to the platform’s CEO in person. A video recently surfaced of Cenat and Speed at the Streamy Awards talking to the executive, and it’s actually gotten a lot of traction. So much so, in fact, that even Travis Scott took to his Instagram Story to voice his support. Well, it’s not an explicit approval of the move. But we doubt that La Flame would highlight this if he didn’t believe in it.

Furthermore, he posted a screenshot of the video in question, which Kai Cenat captioned with “Imma get him unbanned.” Travis Scott added his own caption that could refer to Kai’s energetic attitude or to his unwavering mission: “MOOD 24/7.” For those unaware, both content creators have been taken off the platform in the past, though Cenat’s in the clear now. Speed, on the other hand, currently faces a ban for allegedly propagating sexist comments that violate Twitch guidelines, a set of rules that both violated before.

Not only that, but during a recent livestream, Kai Cenat even threatened to leave the platform and end his Twitch partnership if Speed wasn’t back on air. It’s a tough line to walk, especially considering the controversial comments that brought this situation up in the first place.
