CBS will be sharing additional information regarding the creation of the show in the coming weeks. The father/son duo recently worked together on an episode of CBS’s Happy Together in 2018. Damon Wayans Sr. also starred as Roger Murtaugh in the three seasons of Lethal Weapon (2016) on Fox. most recently. However, some of his most famous credits back decades, all the way to Happy Endings (2011), The Underground (2006), and My Wife and Kids (2001). CBS also ordered a pilot for a spinoff of The Good Wife starring Carrie Preston, from creators Robert and Michelle King. CBS announced both orders in January 2023. This likely marks the beginning of a series of pilot orders across multiple networks and streaming platforms. Let us know what you think of this idea, in the comments below.
The Weeknd released his last studio album, Dawn FM at the beginning of 2022. The album became another major seller, which he quickly followed up with a tour. It was easily one of the most exciting shows of the year, and The Weeknd undoubtedly made up for the lack of touring due to the pandemic. He not only performed music from his latest album but he also delivered live renditions of a few cuts off of After Hours.
The After Hours Til Dawn tour undoubtedly earned some big bucks. According to reports, he raked in $30M from the first four shows alone. However, there were a few hiccups along the way, including a postponed show at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium. “I don’t know what just happened, but I just lost my voice,” he told fans early in the set before promising to reschedule. “I don’t want to stop the show but I can’t give you the concert.” Fortunately, he kept his promise and returned in late November.
The Weeknd Delivers An Epic Performance for Live At SoFi Stadium
For those that couldn’t attend any of the shows, The Weeknd and HBO made sure fans didn’t miss out. The Weeknd shared the trailer for Live At SoFi Stadium, directed by Micah Bickham, debuting on HBOMax on Feb. 25th. The snippet reveals footage from The Weeknd’s final shows on the After House Til Dawn tour in Los Angeles and provides fans with a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into his concert. The Swedish House Mafia-produced “Sacrifice” plays throughout the trailer.
The Weeknd’s relationship with HBO is undoubtedly producing some excellent content for his fans. This week, HBO confirmed a release for the highly-anticipated show, The Idol, co-created by The Weeknd and Euphoria creator Sam Levinson. The show is due out in June, though neither The Weeknd or Levinson have provided a concrete date. Still, many fans are excited to see the forthcoming series starring BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Lily-Rose Depp, and Troye Sivan. We’ll keep you posted on more updates on the show. For now, check out the trailer for The Weeknd’s Live At The SoFi Stadium above.
The first time Kanye West was featured on South Park (there have been a few), he was the butt of a joke he didn’t understand, but the real Kanye was still just a guy with an outsized ego Matt Stone and Trey Parker thought it’d be fun to goof on.
On last night’s season 26 premiere, though, there were bigger fish(sticks) to fry.
That self-immolation was the focus of “Cupid Ye,” in which Cartman, in a fit of jealousy over Stan’s friendship with a Black student, drops some Kanye-inspired misinformation hoping to drive a wedge between them.
Cartman then goes on his own antisemitic conspiracy theory press run, wearing the same outfit worn by Kanye during his interviews with Alex Jones’s InfoWars. Cartman also meets the titular “Cupid Ye,” a fairy-like representation of what looks like Cartman in a Yeezy hoodie.
The series regular tells the little pixie, “Ever since you changed your name and got all into Jesus, you got a little batsh*t crazy, Cupid Ye.” Not exactly subtle.
The last time South Park mocked Kanye, the rapper didn’t take it well. In his 2010 My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy song “Gorgeous,” Kanye snapped he wanted to “choke a South Park writer with a fish stick” after fans took to calling him “gay fish” in real life.
A Cheesecake Factory employee even reportedly brought him a plate of fish sticks as a joke. Something tells me fewer people will be taking this one as lightly — and Kanye’s response might not be as nice either.
On Wednesday, Netflix shared its new password-sharing guidelines. The streaming service will first implement these rules and fees for users in Canada, New Zealand, Portugal, and Spain. The streaming company said that users in those countries will be asked to set a “primary location” for their Netflix account. They can establish two “sub accounts” for users who do not live at the primary location. However, there will be an implemented monthly fee per sub account. Canada’s monthly fee will be CA$7.99. New Zealand’s monthly fee will be NZ$7.99. Portugal’s monthly fee will be 3.99 euros. Finally, Spain’s monthly fee will be 5.99 euros.
According to Netflix’s director of product innovation, Chengyi Long, ““Today, over 100 million households are sharing accounts — impacting our ability to invest in great new TV and films.” The company is testing its new policies before the expected domestic launch of them in the United States in March 2023. The price in Canada (CA$7.99) could forecast what it will ultimately charge in the program’s U.S. debut.
Netflix Password Sharing
Netflix’s Wednesday announcement will roll out immediately, along with a new “Manage Access and Devices” page. This will give users permission to curate who has access to their designated accounts. Users who wish to save the additional monthly fee for “sub accounts” will be able to transfer profiles to new accounts made by those who previously had access. The transferred profiles will maintain all personalizations, recommendations, lists, and viewing history from the original account.
According to Netflix, they will revisit and refine the new account management page based on user feedback from the four countries that will serve as a testing ground. Netflix has decided to make this change due to a huge hit in subscriber numbers for its fourth quarter. This lack of subscriber growth was particularly pertinent in the United States-Canada region of users. This announcement also comes after it was announced that former Netflix CEO, Reed Hastings, would step down from the position. Let us know what you think of this decision, down below.
Dave East recently expressed his excitement for the third season of Wu Tang: An American Saga, which begins February 15 on Hulu. While participating in an interview with Baller Allert on the Grammys red carpet, they asked him what fans can expect from this new chapter. “It’s the best season,” the New York MC expressed. “I think this the season that the world’s going to be able to identify the most with. I feel like season one and two is, like, stuff you didn’t know about them. You know what I mean? Getting to know their stories. Season three, I’m, like, really Meth. I look like Meth for real, I got the fangs and all that. It’s dope the way RZA did it this season.”
Moreover, Method Man himself had a standout moment at the awards ceremony. Alongside a host of other legendary hip-hop artist, he took the stage for a performance commemorating hip-hop’s 50th anniversary. Furthermore, the Wu-Tang member appeared to deliver a bit from his classic 36 Chambers track, “Method Man.” In fact, one of the most viral clips from that performance showed Jay-Z rapping the verse along with him. While no other Clan member appeared to perform, Meth represented the collective with pride, skill, and energy. Also, the performance hosted other groups (whether partially or in full) like Geto Boys, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, and The LOX. In addition, individual performers included Rakim, GloRilla, Too $hort, Ice-T, Missy Elliott, Lil Baby, LL Cool J, and Queen Latifah.
Furthermore, the actor for Ol’ Dirty Bastard in the series, TJ Atoms, spoke on what fans will see in Season 3. “For the story, you’re going to see what unfolds when the different members get signed to different labels,” he remarked. “And we’ll see what happens when they really start doing the Wu-Tang thing for real. We’re probably going to see tours and shows. A lot of performances and drama, for sure, because RZA was making all the decisions.
“Everybody didn’t agree with RZA’s decisions,” Atoms continued. “I don’t know if everybody [was unhappy], but I know some people were probably not as happy with RZA making decisions on their behalf, so we’re going to see a lot of this and a lot of that.” Are you excited for the new season of Wu Tang: An American Saga, and are you looking forward to Dave East’s performance? However you may feel, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest on the Wu-Tang Clan and their historic series.
It’s almost time for the Super Bowl and it’s all anyone is talking about. The Eagles are playing against the Chiefs. Rihanna is headlining the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. It’s going to be historic, as always. However, enough people watch the Super Bowl for the commercials that they’re worth talking about. This year’s lineup of ads includes the likes of many familiar faces, all promoting products and brands in ways that we’ll all buzz about.
One of the most notable Super Bowl commercials this year is PopCorners’ return to the Breaking Bad universe, including none other than Bryan Cranston playing Walter White. Additionally, Aaron Paul will be reviving his character, Jesse Pinkman, in what could possibly be the last hurrah. “I’ve had opportunities to bring Walter White back into the milieu twice,” Cranston told ExtraTV. “I did it for Aaron’s movie El Camino and then once again for Better Call Saul. We were able to come back. And each time, we think, ‘Well, this is the last time we’re ever going to do this.’ And then PopCorners calls and it was like, ‘Well, we’ll do it one more time and then that’s it.’ So this might be the retiring episode of the Breaking Bad universe.”
PopCorners: Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Raymond Cruz
This is only one of the many star-studded and to-be-discussed commercials during the Super Bowl this year. Ben Stiller and Steve Martin are representing Pepsi, showcasing their acting abilities in a multitude of roles and concluding with taking a sip of the drink and asking the audience “Is it good? Or am I just acting?” Will Ferrell dives deep into the Netflix universe, entering the worlds of shows like Squid Game, Breaking Bad, and Stranger Things. Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone sing a musical about Booking.com and John Cena sings a musical about paying rent for Experian.
Check out the lineup of musicians in the Super Bowl commercials. The list includes performers like Diddy making the perfect hit for Uber One with special guests. Additionally, Doja Cat showcases the Google Pixel 7’s camera for Google. Also, Snoop Dogg matches his Skechers to his many colorful outfits. Meghan Trainor gets her hand stuck in a Pringles can for the brand, and Nick Jonas shows off his Dexcom G7. Watch these and more below.
Uber One: Diddy, Montell Jordan, Kelis, Donna Lewis, Haddaway, and Ylvis
Skechers: Snoop Dogg, Howie Long, Tony Romo, and Martha Stewart
Google: Doja Cat, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Amy Schumer
Not to sound 10,000 years old, but you don’t hear songs as ringtones out in the wild anymore. People either keep their phone on silent, or vibrate, or stick with the default ringtone. This is a net positive, all things considered, but I sometimes miss the days when “The Final Countdown” or “So Fresh, So Clean” would alert the stranger waiting in line in front of you at the grocery that their doctor is calling with News.
Like everything else from the 2000s, songs as ringtones are due for a comeback — and when that happens, you’ll be haunted by “Whopper Whopper” when you least expect it.
Burger King has released the catchy (maddeningly so) song on Spotify. If you’ve watched any NFL game this season, you already know it. For everyone else, I’m sorry. In my defense: Whopper Whopper Whopper Whopper, you rule! The fast food chain’s Spotify page also includes “Burger Cheese, Burger Cheese,” as well as a six-track EP of jingles like “Chicken Chicken” and “Crispy Fella.” Good luck to your Spotify Wrapped.
Burger King is on the joke. “When I wrote to the fast-food company to request an interview about the origins and evolution of this hit jingle, several days later I finally got a reply,” Catherine Rampell wrote in an op-ed for the Washington Post. “It was a link to yet another reprise: ‘Burger-cheese, burger-cheese, burger-cheeeese…’ (‘I think you just got rick-rolled,’ said the unsympathetic editor who urged me to write this piece.)”
Burger King isn’t expected to have a Super Bowl ad. Or maybe “Whopper Whopper” will strike when we least expect it. Like at the State of the Union.
(SPOILERS for this week’s BMF episode will be found below.)
In episode five of season two of BMF, titled “Moment Of Truth,” Meech and Terry have finally arrived in Atlanta. They touch down in the city, with the goal of finding cocaine to bring back home and sell in order to make up for some losses gained during the drought and following Meech’s shooting. During this trip, Meech and Terry are forced to work together more than they have so far this season and it leads to a life-altering decision for Terry, which is one Meech hoped he’d make for a long time.
The aforementioned events in the fifth episode of BMF season two, titled “Moment Of Truth,” are soundtracked by songs that help to accentuate the emotions behind each scene. You can find a list of them belong as well as details about the scenes that they are heard in.
The following records were provided thanks to the Starz Public Relations team.
The Winans — “Are We Really Doing Your Will?”
This record plays at the beginning of the episode, around the 0:44 mark, as Terry and Meech make their way to Atlanta. It begins with a flashback to their childhood as the duo rides in the car with Nicole, Charles, and Lucille as this same song plays.
Precise x Sam Hook x Fredro — “Lyrical Genius”
At the 03:27 mark, Meech and Terry presumably make a stop in Cleveland to confront James for stealing money from them. It’s here that Meech beats him up and steals his car.
50 Cent — “Wish Me Luck” Feat. Charlie Wilson
This is the theme song of BMF. It plays at the 04:02 mark in “Moment Of Truth.” While it’s only 50 Cent and Charlie Wilson’s voices that are heard in this moment, the song also features Snoop Dogg and Moneybagg Yo.
Budda — “CPT”
At the 06:38 mark, Meech and Terry are finishing their drive to Atlanta. During the ride, Meech discovers that Terry has brought his school textbook with him on the ride. Meech throws it out of the window and scolds Terry for not being focused on the task at hand.
Crown — “‘80s Dance”
Around the 09:52 mark, this record can be heard as Meech and Terry enter an Atlanta strip club to meet a woman we eventually learn is Goldie. During this moment, Meech learns that Terry has feelings for someone but he doesn’t reveal that it is Markeisha.
Colon — “Celebrity”
A short time later, at the 11:35 mark, Meech and Terry enter a back room to meet Goldie. Terry requests a dice game with the hope that he and Meech can win some money to buy more cocaine, but as newcomers, Terry and Meech are cheated out of their game and lose $7,500 out of the $15,000 they had to their name.
Roger — “Love Ain’t Enough”
This record can be heard as Charles is fixing a cabinet at Mabel’s house. Before he can leave the house, Mabel invites him to a party she’s planning, and while Charles is initially hesitant to attend, he eventually accepts the invite.
LL — “HBCU Lacey Change 222″
Meech and Terry make their way to a high school game to meet an old friend from Detroit at the 21:03 mark. At this moment, their old friend tells them to meet him at his house later and Monique calls Meech to let him know that Denise will take on the drug charge in exchange for them paying for her son’s college tuition.
Arman — “One Dance”
Right around the 30:24 mark, Charles’ troublesome ways continue as he and Mabel dance together at a party that she’s throwing. At this point, it remained to be seen whether or not he will fall for Mabel’s trap, but we all know it didn’t take too long for that to happen
Crystal — “You Sent Him Over”
Just minutes later at the 34:54 mark, Charles officially falls for Mabel’s trap as the two have sex in a hallway of her house after the party. The scene was a quick one as it ended with Charles shamefully rushing out of the house and Mabel looking lustfully at him as he walked out.
City — “Smoke That”
At the 35:45 mark, Terry and Meech arrive at the dice game that they forced Goldie to bring them to in order to win back the money they lost playing a dice game at Goldie’s club. Terry and Meech enter the game under fake names with the goal of tricking their competitors into thinking that they’re not on the same team.
Extreme — “Serious”
This song briefly plays at the 38:25 mark as Charles reminisces on having sex with Mabel. Lucille and Nicole have also returned from their retreat and Lucille apologizes for her errors in their strained relationship.
Art of Noise — “Moments in Love”
After talking to each other, Lucille and Charles have their own sex scene at the 41:57 mark. Charles seems a bit hesitant to engage in an intimate moment with Lucille, especially with it being so soon after he had sex with Mabel, but here we are.
Marlon Osi — “Fresh White Sneakers”
At the 44:36 mark, B-Mickie beats up Kevin’s bully for Detective Bryant. B-Mickie approaches the three boys outside their school and starts punching one of them while daring the other two to defend their friend. This came after Bryant failed to get help from the school, or his reluctant son, to find a way to stop the bullying.
Travon — “We Gon Get Through This”
Travon’s “We Gon Get Through This” plays at the 48:53 mark to close the episode. It rings off after Lamar made a surprise visit to the Flenory house, something that could’ve ended very badly if it were not for some quick and hopeful thinking from Lucille.
New episodes of ‘BMF’ are available on the STARZ app on Fridays at 12:00 am EST and on the STARZ TV channel at 8:00 pm EST.
Comedy Central has confirmed and set dates for the next five guest hosts at The Daily Show. Per Comedy Central, guest hosts have been holding weekly residencies on the program since Trevor Noah exited the show on December 8, 2022. Chelsea Handler is hosting the show this week. This is only her most recent late-night guest hosting gig after she filled in for Jimmy Kimmel in June of 2022. Sarah Silverman is set to host The Daily Show next week, on February 13.
As for the now extended list of comedians hosting The Daily Show, it is full of talent and obvious hilarity. Hasan Minhaj (The Patriot Act) will cover the week of February 27. After that, Marlon Wayans (White Chicks) will take the following week of March 6. Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar go to White Castle) will hostthe week of March 13. Al Franken (Saturday Night Live) will take on the week of March 20, and John Leguizamo (Violent Night) will host the week of March 27. Comedy Central will announce dates for more guest hosts, including The Daily Show correspondents and contributors, in the next few weeks.
“The Daily Show” Guest Hosts
Comedy Central is keeping an open mind in terms of who will succeed Noah as permanent host, according to Deadline. Also, the network is considering hosting duos and trios. Particularly, Comedy Central is considering some of the Daily Show correspondents for the promotion, possibly even in a team of hosts for the show. For instance, Roy Wood Jr. and Desi Lydic are being considered as a hosting duo. Other correspondents include The show’s other correspondents include Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta, Dulcé Sloan, and reporter Jordan Klepper.
The switch to a duo or group cast would give The Daily Show a unique edge in daily late-night television. Moreover, this would also give the show a fresh look as it has historically only held one host (John Stewart, Stephen Colbert, then Trevor Noah). It would give The Daily Show a Saturday Night Live ‘Weekend Update’ energy that fans of late-night television generally adore. Whatever the permanent solution ends up being, the permanent host (or hosts) will start in the fall of 2023.
Jack Harlow has finally shared his long-awaited Doritos Super Bowl commercial ahead of the big game this Sunday. Today (February 8), Harlow dropped the minute-long clip on his social media.

Later, he is seen at an awards show anticipating a win for the Triangle Player Of The Year award, only to lose to one Elton John.
It’s gearing up to be a big year for the “First Class” hitmaker. In addition to this hilarious Super Bowl ad, Harlow is gearing up for his big screen acting debut with a remake of White Man Can’t Jump, which will premiere on Hulu in May.
In the meantime, you can check out his Doritos Super Bowl commercial above.
