Jack Harlow has finally shared his long-awaited Doritos Super Bowl commercial ahead of the big game this Sunday. Today (February 8), Harlow dropped the minute-long clip on his social media.

For the past few weeks, Harlow has teased a love triangle in the ad. Now, we see he was referring to the instrument, the triangle.

Throughout the commercial, Harlow seeks to “try a new angle.” He confides in Missy Elliott about quitting rap — “I gotta do me, Missy,” — teaches a triangle-playing class, and playing the triangle in an arena.

Later, he is seen at an awards show anticipating a win for the Triangle Player Of The Year award, only to lose to one Elton John.

It’s gearing up to be a big year for the “First Class” hitmaker. In addition to this hilarious Super Bowl ad, Harlow is gearing up for his big screen acting debut with a remake of White Man Can’t Jump, which will premiere on Hulu in May.

Super Bowl LVII will take place this Sunday, February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET. The game will broadcast live on Fox.

The big game is just weeks away and as it approaches, expect to see more stars showing face in advertisements. Doritos called on Missy and Harlow for their teaser, and it already has people talking.

The clip suggests there is an even bigger commercial to follow. Missy is seen answering the phone before revealing she was speaking with Harlow. “What’s up? Collab? You know I’ve been waiting to collab,” said the icon.

She then added, “A love triangle? I don’t know about that.”

The teaser cuts to a message that reads “2.12.23,” so we’ll have to wait to see what this two have cooked up. Harlow doesn’t appear in the ad, but we’re sure he’ll show face soon.

Meanwhile, everyone has been speculating about what to expect at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. Rihanna will take to the stage to revisit some of her greatest hits, but rumors about her guest appearances—if any—have taken over social media.

We are just weeks away from Super Bowl LVII, and while the game is a thrill in and of itself, fans look equally forward to the star-studded commercials. Over the past few weeks Doritos has teased a scandalous love triangle-themed spot with Jack Harlow. Now, it seems like hip-hop icon Missy Elliott is joining in on the fun.

In the clip, Elliott answers a phone call from the “First Class” hitmaker himself.

“What’s up? Collab? You know I’ve been waiting to collab,” she says on the phone.

Shortly after, Elliott looks puzzled.

“A love triangle?” Elliott says. “I don’t know about that.”

Though Harlow himself is neither seen nor heard during the sneak preview, Elliott’s reactions say it all. At the end of the clip, the screen reads “2.12.2023,” suggesting that both stars will appear in the Doritos ad set to air during the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl LVII will take place on February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Kick-off will begin at 6:30 EST and the game will broadcast on Fox.

Jack Harlow’s Love Life Is The Center Of Doritos’ Super Bowl Ad

Jack Harlow will star in the newest commercial for Doritos that is set to air during Super Bowl LVII on February 12. The company shared a teaser for the ad, titled The Love Triangle, earlier this week.

In the short video, Harlow hops into a limo as paparazzi accost him with questions about his love life.

“Is it true about the love triangle?” a reporter asks Harlow in the clip.

He responds, “Maybe.”

As for Harlow’s actually love life, he was recently linked to Dua Lipa after the two met in person at Variety’s Hitmakers event in Los Angeles, last month. The rapper first interacted with Lipa when getting her consent to include a song about her on his latest album, Come Home The Kids Miss You.

Harlow spoke about getting her blessing for the track during an interview with Sirius XM.

“I hit her up and wanted to get her blessing,” Harlow said, before adding, “I played it over FaceTime. I wanted to be respectful and her not be blindsided by it. She was so confused, she was like, ‘What the hell?’ It was clearly a first but she gave me her blessing.

He added: “She said it was totally fine with her. She was very sweet.”

Super Bowl LVII is scheduled for February 12 and will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Harlow isn’t the only rapper set to appear in a Super Bowl commercial this year. Cardi B and Offset are also reportedly starring in a McDonald’s ad.

Even if you don’t care about the outcome of the Super Bowl, there’s always excitement surrounding the multi-million dollar ad campaigns behind the event. After all, it’s basically the most-viewed event in America every single year. This year, some of the biggest corporations are preparing to debut star-powered trailer, such as Doritos. The chip brand enlisted Jack Harlow for their Super Bowl ad.

A brief trailer of Jack Harlow’s ad for Doritos debuted on YouTube this week, and it appears that the man became a victim of misinformation. Caught up in a supposed love triangle, the Louisville spitter enters an SUV surrounded by a fleet of adoring fans and paparazzi. He enters the vehicle holding a bag of Doritos BBQ, before a paparazzo screams, “Is it true about the love triangle?”

Harlow looks down at his bag of chips and slyly responds, “Maybe.” Unfortunately, the photographer heard “baby,” and the snippet ends. It looks like we’ll have to wait to see the full commercial during the Super Bowl.

“The real love triangle is us, @jackharlow, and Doritos BBQ,” Doritos captioned the Instagram post with the snippet.

Jack Harlow’s upcoming ad in the Super Bowl follows a highly successful year in 2022. The release of Come Home The Kids Miss You cemented his commercial success. The project debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 with 113K. Towards the end of the year, he hosted Saturday Night Live and then, announced his Las Vegas residency in 2023. Needless to say, this year is already shaping up to be a busy one for the “Churchill Downs” rapper.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. No, not that time — the time we get a slew of new, over-the-top commercials featuring our favorite actors, artists, and athletes pitching already ubiquitous products, all timed to air during the biggest football game of the year (which almost nobody watches for the actual football). We’ve already heard some buzz about Cardi B and Offset’s lovey-dovey spot for McDonald’s, but now, the trailers are finally hitting the net.

And as depressing a prospect as it is for television advertisements to have preview trailers, we’ve gotta look for some fun in the bleak times we’re living through. And you know who’s been having a lot of fun recently? Jack Harlow. The Louisville rapper blew up in a big way just before the pandemic and he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing up yet. Naturally, his stardom makes him an excellent pitchman — he also has an appealing, laid-back charisma and goofy sense of humor that lends well to that sort of thing — so he’s been recruited to sell everything from basketball kicks to fried chicken.

In his upcoming Super Bowl ad, he’ll be graduating to corn chips, as he munches on Doritos in the back of a limo while paparazzi ask him about a potential love triangle. We’ll have to wait for the big game to see how it shakes out, but Jack acquits himself well here and ensures we’ll at least be seeing a lot of him on TV this year, even as he heads to Vegas for a month-long residency.
