“Power Book II: Ghost” Season 3 Trailer: Watch

Today (February 16), Starz released the trailer for the next season of Power Book II: Ghost. The trailer gives fans a glimpse into the highly-anticipated third season of the hit drama series. The show was created by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Courtney A. Kemp. The intense trailer shows audiences pieces of the brand-new twists, turns, and murders that will shake the show’s characters this season. Characters Tariq, Brayden, and the Tejada family grieve the death of Zeke. Based on the synopsis, this season is going to be “flashier, juicer, and sexier, with even more family drama, betrayals, and surprising new alliances.”

The previous season of Power Book II: Ghost left fans begging for more. Tariq is on a quest to get out of the game and reconnect with his family. Brayden possibly betrayed him before he was taken out of school. Additionally, the Tejada family has a substantial amount of product to distribute– more than ever before. Also, Riq has little to no options to cut ties with the family. The Tejada’s family matriarch is setting out to avenge Zeke’s death. She is also fighting to keep Davis MacLean, a criminal defense attorney, off her back. Another question that needs answers is if Effie got rid of Riq’s girlfriend, Lauren. Watch the trailer for Power Book II: Ghost season 3 here.

Finally, Shane Johnson is playing Cooper Saxe.

The list of continuing performers in the spin-off continues with Paton Ashbrook as Jenny Sullivan and Monique Curnen as Detective Blanca Rodriguez. Keesha Sharp is returning as Professor Harper Bennet, David Walton as Lucas Weston, and Moriah Brown as KeKe Travis. “South Park” Spoof Prince Harry & Meghan Markle In New Episode

The animated, decades-long, tried-and-true animated comedy, South Park, has entered Season 26 on Comedy Central. While the show didn’t specifically name Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the second episode is a very clear and obvious nod to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The episode, titled The Worldwide Privacy Tour, was jam-packed with references to the couple and their history with the royal family. The episode tells the story of the Prince of Canada and his wife visiting the town of South Park. They loudly claim that they are seeking privacy.

The jokes focus on the fact that Harry and Meghan discuss a desire for privacy while simultaneously sharing intimate details of their life in interviews, Prince Harry’s book, and the Netflix series, Harry & Meghan. On South Park, the prince of Canada promotes his book, Waaaagh, which is a clear satire of Prince Harry’s actual autobiography, Spare. On the episode of South Park, Harry, and Meghan’s dupes walk onto Good Morning Canada holding signs saying “We want our privacy!” and “Stop looking at us!” The host claims that Markle embraces celebrity life, saying, “Some people might say that your Instagram-loving bitch wife actually doesn’t want her privacy.”

“South Park” On Harry & Meghan: Watch

In another scene of the episode, Kyle Broflovski says: “I’m sick of hearing about them! I can’t get away from them! They’re everywhere, in my f***ing face!” To which Eric Cartman replies, “We don’t care about some dumb prince and his stupid wife.” Through a “branding manager,” Harry’s South Park counterpart is described as a “Royal prince, millionaire, world traveler, victim.” His wife is labeled: “Sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim.”

The pair even light off fireworks in South Park and chant into megaphones, “Done with the Monarchy, we deserve our privacy!” Later in the episode, the Prince of Canada goes on a rant. He says, “If it is truly what we want then we really can get away from it all. No more magazines or Netflix shows. We really can live a normal life.” He pauses. His wife says nothing. “Yes, I’m sure you agree, darling,” he continues. “We can be the people we talked about being with no more worries about how we look or the image we project to people. What matters is what we have on the inside.” The prince’s wife does not respond. He actually opens her mouth to yell “Hello?” into it. It echoes. Christian Combs Plays His Father Diddy In “Wu-Tang: An American Saga”

Christian Combs is keeping busy these days. Diddy’s son left 2022 on a high note with the release of his single, “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” ft. Kodak Black, which continues to have a stronghold on platforms like TikTok. The song, which samples The Jeff Lorber Fusion’s “Rain Dance”, dropped towards the tail end of the year and made history. Christian Combs and Diddy became the first father-and-son duo to top two different charts at the same time. Needless to say, there was a lot to celebrate over the holidays.

At this point, it seems as though Christian Combs will be putting more focus than ever on his rap career. The success of “Cant Stop Won’t Stop” put him in a position to propel forward. However, there’s a good chance we won’t just see him rap this year. Combs seems to be getting deeper into his acting bag these days, and his latest cameo came on one of the most anticipated shows of the year.

Christian Combs As Diddy In “Wu-Tang: The American Saga”

Combs is Diddy’s spitting image, so it seems inevitable that he would end up playing his dad on television sooner or later. This week, Wu-Tang: The American Saga debuted its third and final season. Fans were immediately shocked to see Christian Combs take on the role of his father in the show, especially since it was largely kept under wraps. Nonetheless, fans were quite excited to see Combs take on the role and felt that he did a superb job.

His appearance as his father comes shortly after he responded to claims of being a “nepo baby.” As many celebrity children argued against the title, Combs appeared to take it in stride. During a run-in with TMZ, he fired back at those who feel as though his success was inherited rather than earned. “Heavy is the head that wears the crown. We’ve got a big legacy to fill. Right now? Bad Boy? We number one!” he said. “We gonna take the legacy far, Bad Boy for life… Can’t stop, won’t stop, never stop. Just stop hating! That’s it.” Check Combs as Diddy above.

50 Cent Fuels Beef Between “BMF” & “Power” Casts

There are few things that 50 Cent enjoys more in the world than free marketing. BMF star Lil Meech took a page out of Fif’s book and began berating the cast of Power Book II: Ghost this week, beginning with Michael Rainey Jr. and Gianni Paolo. Eventually, he dragged his father, Big Meech, into the conversation, who stated that he doesn’t think Power can stand next to BMF. Meech stated that the show didn’t seem realistic by any means, and criticized Rainey’s character, Tariq.

50 Cent executive produces both shows, but he has no problem pitting them against each other for the sake of views. The rapper shared a promo picture of Power Book II: Ghost including an image of Michael Rainey Jr. and Gianni Paolo. “Ghost is coming back @michaelraineyjr said that BMF shit ain’t hitting,” Fif captioned the post. Of course, it didn’t take long for Lil Meech or Rainey to react to Fif’s post. We thought the beef was put to rest but clearly, that wasn’t the case.

Lil Meech Tells 50 Cent: “This Look Like A Star Trek Promo”

It didn’t take long for Lil Meech to slide into the comment section of 50 Cent’s post and take aim at the Power cast. First, he criticized Gianni Paolo for looking as “soft as cotton.” However, he echoed his father’s sentiments surrounding Tariq’s lifestyle – living as a college student while trying to have one foot in the streets. “5 I hop this season he not still taking UBER and bringing his girls to his dorm. Can the n***a atleast buy a house?” Meech wrote under the post.

Later on, Meech shared a screenshot of 50 Cent’s post and compared the look of the latest Ghost promo shoot to Star Trek. “This look like a Star Trek promo,” he wrote. “Look at their serious face.” From there, he further reiterated that Tariq should spend money on something other than lawyer fees and Ubers this season. “LMAO somebody tell bro buy a Hellcat this season or sumn so he can stop walking home putting miles on them Air Forces,” he added. Check out Meech’s comments above.

Mary J. Blige’s New Trailer For Her Talk Show ‘The Wine Down’ Features 50 Cent, Taraji P. Henson, And Yung Miami

There’s nothing Mary J. Blige can’t do, and there’s very little she hasn’t done over the last two years.

In June 2021, her My Life documentary hit Amazon Prime Video. Last year involved an Emmy-winning Super Bowl LVI halftime show and the release of her album Good Morning Gorgeous, which generated six nominations at this month’s 2023 Grammys, where she performed the title track.

And so far, 2023 is shaping up to be another epic year in Blige’s decades-long iconic career. In December, Deadline reported Blige’s Blue Butterfly production company was partnering with BET on a “first-look non-scripted deal and a second-look scripted deal,” including a forthcoming talk show billed as The Wine Down.

We now have the official Wine Down trailer:

The caption teases, “The Queen of Hip Hop Soul, @therealmaryjblige invites you to her brand new raw and unfiltered series. Join Mary and some of her close friends for intimate conversations about life. Grab a glass and get ready for #TheWineDownBET. See you March 1st 10/9c!”

In the clip, Blige says, “Make some room ’cause something big is happening. You all know me as Mary, the entertainer, but I can’t wait for you to get to know Mary, the friend. This is what I always wanted to do. It’s a show that’s about me hanging out with people who I love, respect and admire. This is what conversations like this are for. It’s for people to hear us.”

The teaser features Blige sitting down with 50 Cent, Taraji P. Henson, and Yung Miami.

If The Wine Down isn’t enough to satisfy fans, Blige also has a children’s book due out next month. Pre-order Mary Can! here.

50 Cent Signed A New TV Deal With Fox And He’s Pumped About It: ‘I Don’t Miss’

50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) has made an immensely successful crossover to television in recent years, as he made both the Power franchise and Black Mafia Family shows at Starz before leaving his deal last September. While he’s produced projects here and there since 2003, according to his IMDb, his Starz creations have had a massive impact — even if his relationship with the network grew rocky.

“09-17-22 official day of really owning my content and deciding where and how I do it moving forward,” he shared on Instagram at the time.

Now, Jackson has his sights on another network in a newly-announced non-exclusive deal with Fox. Jackson and his G-Unit Film & Television production company will develop “scripted dramas, live-action comedies, and animated series,” according to Variety.

“I am excited to formalize a partnership with Michael Thorn and Fox that will allow G-Unit Film & Television to focus on putting multiple series on Fox, a perfect broadcast destination for G-Unit Film & Television content while our premium, streaming, scripted, and non-scripted slates continue to grow in all directions,” Jackson shared in a statement.

Sharing the news on Instagram, 50 also wrote, “How’s your day going, mine is going good. Happy Valentine’s Day GLG GreenLightGang i don’t miss.”

“Whether it’s music, film, or television, Curtis always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans across the globe,” Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn added. “He is the rare multi-hyphenate with a deft hand at storytelling, no matter the format or medium, and we’re looking forward to developing new and exciting series for Fox with him and his team.”

In addition to Jackson’s credits, G-Unit (not to be confused with his former hip-hop collective) is still in development on Fightland and Queen Nzinga at Starz. The company also produced ABC’s For Life and WeTV’s Hip Hop Homicides.

50 Cent Signs Non-Exclusive Deal w/ Fox

50 cent plans

At this point, what can 50 Cent not do?

Real name Curis Jackson has officially signed a non-exclusive multi-project broadcast deal with Fox, which serves as the new television partner for his G-Unit Film & Television company.

The partnership includes developing scripted dramas, live-action comedies, and animated series that would air on the network. Any content under this deal will be owned by Fox Entertainment, and produced entirely in-house between Fox and 50’s production company.

In a statement, 50 Cent states, “I am excited to formalize a partnership with Michael Thorn and Fox that will allow G-Unit Film & Television to focus on putting multiple series on Fox, a perfect broadcast destination for G-Unit Film & Television content while our premium, streaming, scripted, and non-scripted slates continue to grow in all directions.

This new deal arrives just months after Jackson split from his previous deal with Starz, which he had even described the situation as “dumb shit” prior to the exit. However, 50 remains the executive producer for his television shows Power, and more recently, BMF and British boxing drama Fightland

And with this new deal being non-exclusive, 50 is able to shop his production services to other places.

Michael Thorn, President of Scripted Programming, Fox Entertainment had some nice words for 50. “Whether it’s music, film or television, Curtis always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans across the globe. He is the rare multi-hyphenate with a deft hand at storytelling, no matter the format or medium, and we’re looking forward to developing new and exciting series for Fox with him and his team.”

50 Cent isn’t the only multihyphenate with deals at the network, joining an all-star roster including Rodney Rothman and Adam Rosenberg, Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz, and writer/producer/director McG.

Beyond film, 50 is also diving into the podcast space. With his new G-Unit audio banner, he debuted “Surviving El Chapo: The Twins Who Brought Down a Drug Lord,” in partnership with iHeart Media and Lionsgate Sound.

50 Cent Signs Non-Exclusive Broadcast Deal With Fox

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Fox have united in a non-exclusive broadcast direct deal through Jackson’s production company, G-Unit Film & Television. Michael Thorn, Fox Entertainment’s president of scripted programming, made the announcement on Tuesday. The deal will include scripted dramas, live-action comedies, and animated series. Fox Entertainment will own the projects made under this deal. They will be produced by Fox Entertainment Studios and G-Unit Film & Television.

Thorn said, “Whether it’s music, film or television, Curtis always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans across the globe. He is the rare multi-hyphenate with a deft hand at storytelling, no matter the format or medium, and we’re looking forward to developing new and exciting series for Fox with him and his team.” 50 Cent shared similar enthusiasm regarding the deal. He said, “I am excited to formalize a partnership with Michael Thorn and Fox that will allow G-Unit Film & Television to focus on putting multiple series on Fox, a perfect broadcast destination for G-Unit Film & Television content while our premium, streaming, scripted and non-scripted slates continue to grow in all directions.”

Last September, 50 Cent left his deal with Starz, but much of his work remains on the network. Black Mafia Family, for instance, is still on stars. Additionally, the platform also has spinoffs from the Power universe. These include Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force. G-Unit Film & Television is also developing Fightland and Queen Nzinga, both of which are scripted series that will air on Starz. G-Unit Film & Television also recently released Hip Hop Homicides at WeTV. The company is also delving into film, entering a three-picture horror deal with Eli Roth and 3BlackDot.

50 Cent now joins several other iconic filmmakers who have penned deals with Fox. Rodney Rothman (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) also holds a deal with the company. Last year, Fox signed similar deals with producer Carol Mendelsohn (CSI and its many counterparts) and writer/producer/director McG (Supernatural, Lethal Weapon, We are Marshall). Jackson is additionally represented by APA, AKR PR, and attorney Stephen Savva.

Super Bowl LVII Ratings Hit Six-Year Audience High

Super Bowl LVII was a smash hit– with the Kansas City Chiefs holding a tight victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. The game was broadcast on Fox and aired on additional digital platforms. The program averaged 113 million viewers, according to early Nielsen data. That makes this game the most-watched Super Bowl since 2017’s Patriots vs. Falcons match, which was also telecast on Fox. Additionally, the audience views skyrocketed to 118.7 million viewers at the time of Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. This marks the most-watched halftime show since Katy Perry’s 2015 performance, complete with sharks. Rihanna’s halftime show is the second most-watched Super Bowl halftime show in history

Super Bowl LVII took place at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Kickoff began just after 6:30 p.m ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The audience for the 2023 game is a relatively small rise from the 112.3 million viewers that watched 2022’s match between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. Last year, audiences tuned in to NBC for the game, so Fox gets bragging rights for significantly beating its own viewership results from the last time airing the program in 2019. That game, Super Bowl LIV, took place in Miami and brought in 102 million viewers.

When it comes to digital statistics, Fox says that Super Bowl LVII had about 7 million streams. That makes it the most-streamed Super Bowl in history. That’s an 18% increase from last year’s super bowl, and a 103% increase from the last time Fox took the reigns in 2020. That year held 3.4 million streams. Fox Deportes aired the Spanish-language version of the Super Bowl. They set a record for the most-watched Super Bowl game in Spanish-language cable television history. 951,000 people watched, which is a 25% increase from Fox Deportes’ views from 2020. This year’s Super Bowl was also the most-watched non-soccer event to be viewed in Spanish-language cable history.

The NFL had an impressive set of ratings this season, so critics anticipated the impressive Super Bowl LVII numbers. The regular season that led up to the game held record-breaking numbers across Fox, NBC, and CBS. Last month, there were strong ratings for the NFC and ACF championship games. The telecast of the Chiefs vs. Bengals game was the most-watched NFL conference championship game in four years. Ratings were 11% higher than last year’s AFC title game, making it the most-watched TV Program on any network since Super Bowl LVI. This, of course, is no longer true. Super Bowl LVII now broke that record.
