Tom Brady is officially retired, but New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft wants him to come back one more time. Kraft is offering a one day contract for Brady to retire as a member of the franchise where he won 6 Super Bowls.

Speaking with CNN, Kraft revealed Brady’s status as a Patriot is cemented.

“Not only do I want it, our fans are clamoring for it,” Kraft said. “To us, he is always has been and always will be a Patriot.

“We will do everything in our power to bring him back, have him sign off as a Patriot and find ways to honor him for many years to come.”

Tom Brady announced his retirement exactly one year after the date of his first retirement announcement. In a video uploaded to Twitter, Brady stated he is retiring “for good.”

Brady said he is sidestepping the pageantry of retirement and will not turn back this year to return to the field. Brady also revealed he “wouldn’t change a thing” for his career.

“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” Brady said. “I won’t be long-winded. For his career, Brady played 23 seasons, won seven Super Bowls, is a five-time Super Bowl MVP, and three-time NFL MVP, and collected over $300 million in earnings. In his final season, Brady threw for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions.

Tom Brady officially retired from football on Wednesday morning. This was a massive announcement that completely shook the football world to its core. Of course, this is one of those things that was expected. Overall, Brady had played 23 seasons in the NFL and was 45 years old. Moreover, his play declined this past year, which meant that retirement was probably the best thing to do for his legacy. Either way, Brady will now get to go down as the greatest football player ever.

While Brady retired as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there is no doubt that he will mainly be remembered for his time with the New England Patriots. The man helped them win a grand total of six Super Bowls in 20 seasons. Overall, this was an insane output that will forever be remembered by fans. According to CNN, Kraft has revealed that he will offer Brady a one-day contract so that he can retire as a Patriot. When Brady initially left the Patriots, it didn’t seem to be on the best of terms. However, Kraft seems very eager to get Brady back with the team, if only for one day. “Not only do I want it, our fans are clamoring for it,” Kraft said. “To us, he is always has been and always will be a Patriot. According to TMZ, Brady already has some immediate plans in place. For starters, he simply wants to take a few months off. After his divorce from Gisele, Brady is looking to be a father to his children. Football is a huge commitment, and consequently, he hadn’t seen his kids as often as he would have hoped. Brady and Gisele announced their plans to divorce last year. Their divorce was very public and was said to be caused by Brady’s return to the NFL just a couple of months after announcing his retirement.

“It’s tough to walk away from something you love, but I think this is the right thing to do,” Sharpe said.

Although Sharpe made some great points, there was no doubt that Bayless was going to disagree. Bayless felt as though Brady was probably going to come back. However, he was proven wrong. Now, Bayless seems to think this retirement decision is final.
