Tina Knowles Claims Beyonce Was In The Studio “24 Hours A Day” Last Month

Tina Knowles says that Beyonce spent the last month in the studio for “24 hours a day.” She reflected on the “sacrifices” her daughter has made during a post on Instagram, on Saturday. In doing so, she shared the Rotten Tomatoes scores for the singer’s new concert film, Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce.

“Last one about the Rotten Tomatoes! Just saw this !! When you see how hard someone works and all the sacrifices they make because for the last month my child was in a studio almost 24 hours a day I was with her most of that time sleeping in the studio,” she wrote. “She only went to take her kids to school to shower and come back.”

Tina Knowles took to social media to celebrate the RENAISSANCE concert film garnering a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. “Just realized that 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes!!! That is huge!!! Please repost! This is history! Sooooo proud!!!” Knowles wrote in one post. “Last one about the Rotten Tomatoes! Just saw this!! When you see how hard someone works and all the sacrifices they make because for the last month my child was in a studio 24 hours a day. Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce is expected to be the best film of the weekend. Today, the AP reported that the film opened to a $21 million domestic weekend. That would mark the best December opening for a film since the 2003 Tom Cruise vehicle The Last Samurai. With its projected opening, Renaissance tops the charts over Godzilla Minus One, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Snakes & Songbirds, and Napoleon.

However, not everyone is celebrating the release of Beyonce’s film. Videos of fans in Israel celebrating the release of the film has led to criticism for Beyonce online. People have claimed that Beyonce’s film opening in Israel is inherent support of Israel by Beyonce. Despite this, people have argued that Beyonce is likely not in control of the film’s distribution. Instead, it’s more likely that Beyonce has a distribution agreement, most likely with AMC. As a result of this, the film may be shown in controversial places, such as Israel.

This week saw the end of a number of temporary ceasefires between Israel and Palestine. With the end of the ceasefire, Israel has commenced a heavy bombing campaign against targets in the southern Gaza Strip. The area has becoming increasingly dense as Israel has consistently ordered evacuations from the northern Gaza Strip in recent weeks.

Beyoncé’s Mother Tina Knowles Shot Down ‘Bozos’ Who Accused The Star Of Bleaching Her Skin

Beyoncé’s mom Tina Knowles has long been a protective force in her daughter’s life and this week, she once again stepped into that role to defend Beyoncé from a malicious rumor circulating online in the wake of the premiere event for Beyoncé’s Renaissance film.

After some fans observed that the star looked paler than normal in the photo of herself she posted from the premiere, Momma Tina clapped back, calling those critics self-hating “bozos” promoting a long-debunked, toxic narrative about her daughter.

Comments and gossip rags accused Beyoncé of lightening her skin with editing tools, with some going as far as speculating that she was bleaching it to look white. Knowles also noted that TMZ reached out to Beyoncé’s stylist for a comment about the responses to her premiere look, calling out the reporter’s “entitlement.”

For what it’s worth, Beyonce is a lighter-skinned Black woman at an event where many of the photographers likely had their cameras and lighting set up to capture a wide range of skin tones, including very dark ones which are frequently underlit in mass media. Combine that with Beyoncé’s wardrobe — a silver dress and complementary platinum blonde wig — and the way the photo turned out makes perfect sense.

This isn’t the first time Beyoncé has been the center of colorist/colorism comments online. A few years ago, her father Matthew Knowles told Ebony that at least some of Beyoncé’s success is due to colorism.

Beyoncé herself has made efforts to uplift Black women of all shades through songs like “Brown Skin Girl,” her previous film Black Is King, and the shout-out to her mom’s native Louisiana roots in “Formation,” among others.

Well that made my blood boil, that this white woman felt so entitled to discuss her blackness.

What’s really most disappointing is some Black people — yes you bozos that’s on social media — lying and faking and acting like you’re so ignorant that you don’t understand that Black women have worn platinum hair since the Etta James days. I just went and looked at all the beautiful talented Black celebrities who have worn platinum hair and it has been just about every one of them at one time or another. Are they all trying to be white? I am sick and tired of people attacking her. Every time she does something that she works her ass off for, and is a statement of her work ethic, talent, and resilience, here you sad little haters come out the woodwork. Jealousy and racism, sexism, double standards — you perpetuate those things. Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring her if you don’t like her. I am sick of you losers. Tina Knowles has come to Beyonce’s defense after her daughter attended the Renaissance concert film premiere in a full silver outfit, including platinum hair. The decision sparked backlash on social media from users who claimed she was trying “to be white.” Knowles labeled it a “stupid narrative with hate and jealousy.”

Blue Ivy’s “Renaissance” Performance Was Originally A “One Time Thing,” Tina Knowles Says

During her recent appearance on SHERRI, Tina Knowles opened up about seeing her granddaughter Blue Ivy perform at the Renaissance tour. According to her, the 11-year-old’s appearance was supposed to be a “one-time thing,” but Beyonce’s daughter had other ideas. Knowles recalls being nervous for Blue Ivy ahead of her first performance. The pre-teen quickly proved, however, that she wouldn’t let anything hold her back.

As for whether or not Blue Ivy had a grasp of the magnitude of what she was doing, Knowles said “I don’t think so.” The proud grandmother continued, revealing that her passion is what guided her. “She just loves to dance and she was watching the girls rehearse and she said, ‘I think I’m ready to go on stage,’ and her mom said ‘no no I don’t think so Blue.’ Then she thought about it, and said ‘if you work hard and you really come with it then we’ll let you go one time.’ So it was supposed to be a one-time thing.”

According to her grandmother, she and her father couldn’t be more excited to see her on stage. “Me and her dad we were together every night,” Knowles explained. “And he would come to the front where I was and watch that. I was in tears and he was grinning so hard I thought his face would hurt.”

Via a new Instagram post, Tina revealed that the 11-year-old has actually been her makeup artist for years now. She shared a heartening caption, and gave Ivy her flowers in the video itself.

“This is a lot of Beyoncé’s dancers and singers and band who gathered at the gracious @kirkfranklin Studio last night . He prayed over them and so did @toureroberts . What a beautiful tremendous blessing for our beautiful , talented Rennasance Tour family !” her caption began. In the accompanying picture nearly two dozen dancers are spending time in Kirk Franklin’s Dallas recording studio. “A lot of these singers and band members and dancers began their entertainment journey in church in their churches. Beyonce’s recent run of shows in LA made buzz for what happened on the stage and who was in attendance off of it. Yung Miami and JT of City Girls turned up to one of the shows and seemed to have quite a good time while there. After some fans took issue with the outfit choices Miami made to the show she clapped back at them on Twitter.

Tina Knowles Shuts Down Beyonce Toilet Seat Rumor

One of the sillier rumors that has followed Beyonce along the Renaissance tour is a claim that she brings her own toilet seats everywhere she goes. The rumor spawned from a black box labeled “toilet seats” that was spotted at the show. As the picture made the rounds fan concocted the story that Bey was traveling with her own personal toilet seats. Now a pretty trustworthy source close to Bey is confirming that the story is in fact a total fiction.

TMZ caught up with Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles to ask her about a number of different things. One question brought up was the toilet seat rumor which she slammed as “so ridiculous.” Tina explained that the boxes are used as props for placing fans on stage, though she’s not sure why they’re called toilet seats. Tina is quite the expert on the Renaissance tour as she’s popped up at a number of shows so far. A few weeks ago she turned up to one of the concerts alongside Oprah and Gayle King.

This isn’t the first time Tina Knowles has served as a source of clarification for Renaissance tour rumors. Following Lizzo’s hostile workplace lawsuit being made public, Beyonce skipped over her name in the Queens Remix of “Break My Soul.” While many interpreted that move as a diss, Tina insisted it wasn’t and that fans were reading into things too much. She appeared to be correct when Bey said she “loves” Lizzo during a show in Atlanta last night.

Beyonce’s run of shows in Atlanta attracted all kinds of celebrity attention. Quavo, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, and Chloe and Halle Bailey were all in attendance for the shows.
