6ix9ine Faces Legal Woes
According to recent reports, 6ix9ine may face the consequences of his actions, both financially and legally.
On Dec. 17, it was revealed that the rapper’s valuable assets were to be seized and sold following the $10 million judgment against him. This judgment stems from an incident in which a stripper accused the “GUMMO” rapper of hitting her in the head with a bottle of champagne during an altercation at the Gold Rush Cabaret in Miami.
The injured dancer, Alexis Salaberrios, had to receive medical attention and staples to close her wound. After filing the lawsuit in 2021, she has not received any payment from the rapper.
As a result, the judgment was granted in July 2023, demanding 6ix9ine to pay $9.825 million. Now, his Rolls-Royce and Florida mansion are among the assets set to be taken away and sold to satisfy the judgment.
Past Legal Woes
In April 2022, 6ix9ine made headlines when he claimed to be broke to avoid paying restitution in a lawsuit. However, shortly after, he flaunted $1.5 million in cash on social media, raising questions about his true financial situation.
Additionally, the New York native recently faced legal troubles in the Dominican Republic, where he was arrested for allegedly assaulting producers at a recording studio. Released on a $500,000 bail, the rapper’s loyal fans rallied for his freedom during his time in custody.
Soulja Boy’s Assets To Be Seized
Seizing assets seems to be a recurring theme in the music industry, as rapper Soulja Boy also faced a similar situation. In October 2023, Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend was granted the ability to seize all of his assets, including luxury cars and cash, as part of a legal dispute.
