Tyler The Creator’s Supreme Box Logo Tee Has Been Unveiled

Tyler The Creator and Supreme have teamed up for a new t-shirt that comes in pink and features a picture of the Call Me If You Get Lost rapper rocking one of the brand’s box logos. The picture stems from a recent photoshoot that Tyler did with Supreme. In a behind-the-scenes clip of that shoot, he described working with the iconic company as a “full-circle moment.”

“I’ve had Supreme stuff since I was like 16 years old,” Tyler said. “Every version you could think of. Still got them fresh. And the ill thing about this is like at 16, 17, 18, 19, Supreme was our Louis Vuitton. That was our top of the line sh*t. Especially knowing that everyone didn’t have it, it only made it more special. Even today, I like having things that not everyone else has.” He added: “So writing raps, listening to so and so talk about this car or this clothing line, that’s how n****s treated Supreme – so this is such a full-circle moment.”

The collaboration with Supreme comes after Tyler made headlines, last week, for his polarizing take on Ian. Appearing on Mav Carter’s Mavericks podcast, he argued that the up-and-coming white rapper is making a mockery of hip-hop. “It’s some kid right now — this white kid, regular caucasian man. And he’s, like, mocking Future and Gucci Mane — like, rap music — and people are like, ‘This sh*t hard!’ It’s not even, like, satire, like ‘I’m just joking, I’m just mocking.’ And I hold rap music so close to my heart ’cause this sh*t changed my life and everyone’s life around me, and I’m a nerd about the sh*t. This is, like, weird. I’m looking at it, and something about it don’t even sit well, in comparison to someone like a Mac Miller or Eminem, who it didn’t seem like they was mocking it. They had a genuine love for it,” he said.

Drake’s Viral & Ambiguous “RAP IS A JOKE” Shirt Gets Explained

Drake always loves to strum up a debate online, as he was making headlines yet again for a t-shirt that read “RAP IS A JOKE”. You can see him wearing the piece of clothing below in his latest Instagram post. It The caption also had rap fans talking, “The pressure from being on top does more than just make your ears pop”. Originally, there were a lot of people associating this with the Canadian artist’s loss to Kendrick Lamar in their highly publicized beef. Additionally, others were suspecting this upload (the caption in particular) was a reference to the shocking storyline that made waves just hours before. The Donald Trump assassination attempt saw him accrue a battle scar on the upper part of his right ear.

While the caption remains up in the air, the “RAP IS A JOKE” tee has a meaning separate from any possible references to K-Dot. According to Uproxx, internet/rap sleuths over at Complex dug up its origins and it has to do with “Frank Stacks and L-Money’s Rap Is A Joke battle rap and parody duo out of the Bay Area”. You can find the video for the song down below as well. Additionally, there seems to be an official account for the shirt that Drake wore on IG.

The page has a photo of Tech N9ne wearing the exact same apparel, and they also reshared Drake’s viral photo. You can also purchase the shirt if you would like for $20 with the second “[Via]” link below. Overall, this could still have something to do with Kendrick Lamar in some capacity and fans will undoubtedly continue to get on Drake for this. However, the latter will almost assuredly never explain this act in the future, so the debate will most likely continue for a little while longer.

Drake & J. Cole Fan Creates Amazing “Step Brothers” T-Shirt To Signify The Rappers’ Bromance

Drake and J. Cole have been friends for over 10 years now. Part of the reason for the continuing friendship is due to the fact that they are on a tour together. Of course, that would be the It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? Currently, they are a little over halfway through their set of dates and they will be performing next on March in Belmont Park, New York. There have been some interesting headlines around it, including adding Lil Durk and Lil Wayne into the mix for a handful of shows. However, one we had to shed light on was a fan’s hilarious Step Brothers t-shirt with Drake and J. Cole on it.

The Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly comedy classic is iconic for their performances, but also because of the movie’s cover art. So, because of how close Drake and J. Cole are, he recreated the Step Brothers artwork. You can see the image of the ingenious creation below. According to Uproxx, Drizzy got a chance to see it during their show and his reaction is priceless.

Drake Couldn’t Help But Laugh At The Step Brothers Nod

He even called over a stage worker to see it while J. Cole was performing “No Role Modelz.” What is also funny about this is that Drake is actually a huge fan of Will Ferrell’s work. He was a huge Anchorman fan and he wound up reaching to see if he could land a role in its sequel. He would get a cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, so this had to be a bit of a full-circle moment for him, on top of it being downright hilarious.
