Elon Musk Has Cheeky Answer For Kanye West’s Rocket Ship Tweet

Kanye West and Elon Musk share a lot in common as two rich creatives with eclectic tendencies and a whole lot of hate online. Comparisons between them have been very common, and they have a pretty interesting bond that is sometimes friendly and occasionally competitive. Recently, Ye let out a tweet asking the tech tycoon “where [his] rocket ship” is at, a reference to his lyric on his new Vultures cut, “CARNIVAL.” In response, Mr. Musk made a cheeky Nicki Minaj reference, tagging her in the tweet as well. After all, as she reminded us so many years ago during her radio heyday, she has a special connection to space travel.

“Starships were meant to fly [get it, Barbz?] and our next one launches in about 3 weeks,” Elon Musk responded to Kanye West. “But I recommend waiting for a few more test flights before hopping on board. @NICKIMINAJ.” As such, this made for a pretty comical crossover moment on social media, and we’ve yet to see whether the Trinidadian MC will hop on a rocket ship, too. We know that Ye probably will when he gets the chance, and that’s one of many notable bars on “CARNIVAL,” albeit for very different and much less “cancelable” reasons.

Elon Musk Caters To Nicki Minaj’s Barbz In Response Tweet To Kanye West

Of course, this is far from the only rapper to want in on Elon Musk’s empire. But speaking to that point earlier about competition, some MCs think that they can make something even better. For example, Rick Ross recently said that he will prepare really well for the apocalypse, and wants to build an underground bunker that surpasses the 52-year-old’s. Hopefully we will never get to see whether Rozay succeeds in this regard, because we would have much bigger problems to worry about.

Meanwhile, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” hitmaker is still basking in the release of his Ty Dolla $ign collab album. With some great surprise features and notable tracks here and there, we imagine that they will continue to build hype for its next installments. Whether they actually come out or the duo makes up for their bigoted rollout is another story. To find that out, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Elon Musk and Kanye West.

Nicki Minaj Plays Hype New Year’s Eve Show But Won’t Perform “Starships”

She took to the stage to perform a few songs for a tightly packed crowd at a New Year’s Eve party in a Miami club. Videos of her performance have been circulating online all day. Nicki Minaj Doesn’t Like “Starships”

Last month, Nicki Minaj released her highly-anticipated new album Pink Friday 2. It was her first new record in 5 years following 2018’s Queen and ended up being a major undertaking for her. The album features 22 tracks and over 70 minutes of material. Among the songs are plenty of high-profile features like Drake, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, J. Cole, and more.

The album performed quite well commercially but that hasn’t stopped Nicki from fighting for every sale. She clapped back at some haters online while talking about the album’s incredibly impressive Spotify numbers. She also shared a video on Twitter of one of her haters hiding physical copies of the album so fans trying to buy it would have a harder time finding the album. SpaceX Starship Explodes Right After Launch

In the ongoing mess that is Elon Musk‘s ownership of Twitter, you might have forgotten about his other passion project – space. Based at his Texas complex, SpaceX has given a new lease on life to the American space program. Numerous missions over the last decade or so have not only pushed forwards America’s space agenda but made Musk a vital figure in the industry.

Starship is one of the latest projects to get national attention. Designated as a “super heavy-lift launch vehicle”, it was pitched as the next advancement in low-orbit payload delivery. At 390ft tall, it is the largest launch vehicle ever developed. Furthermore, it had the added advantage of being the first reusable launch vehicle. After years of development, SpaceX announced that Starship would make its first orbital launch this month. The plan was for the vehicle to launch, achieve a low Earth orbit, make a close to a full rotation of the Earth, and then crash off the coast of Hawaii.

Starship Launch Ends After Four Minutes

After adverse conditions scrapped the planned launch on April 17, April 20 was cleared as the new launch date. However, while the initial 7:28am EDT launch was successful, celebrations at Starbase were short-lived. A little over a minute into the flight, six of Starship’s engines had failed. Then Starship failed to separate, causing the trajectory to dramatically change and the vehicle to begin spinning. SpaceX executed Starship’s onboard flight termination just under four minutes after launch. For reference, the flight was meant to be last approximately 1 hour, 17 minutes.

While a SpaceX spokesperson jokingly referred to the event as “a rapid, unscheduled disassembly,” it is a humiliating and public failure for SpaceX. This was not an early-stage test, this was meant to be proof that Starship could successfully achieve orbit. Furthermore, it was not a failure with the vehicle, but the engines SpaceX built. While the company is putting on a brave face, it’s hard to imagine that the disaster does not sting. In a statement, Musk announced that Starship would be relaunched in the coming months. However, this is likely not the 4/20 that Elon was hoping for.
