Nike Mac Attack Surfaces In “Red Crush”

John McEnroe was a legendary tennis player who entered the sneaker world with the Nike Mac Attack. Overall, this is a cool tennis shoe from the 1980s that has largely been forgotten. Consequently, you have to have lived during that era to really remember this silhouette. However, it would appear as though Nike has something up their sleeve in regard to this silhouette. There have been all sorts of rumblings that this shoe would be brought back to the market. Ultimately, fans have been curious about this.

Furthermore, these rumblings have been made more concrete thanks to Travis Scott. Travis Scott is supposedly going to get his very own Nike Mac Attack, very soon. However, there is very little information on when that shoe will release and what the colorway will be. That said, new teasers for the Mac Attack continue to pop up throughout social media. For instance, Instagram account @xcsnkr just got some new images of the Nike Mac Attack in a familiar “Red Crush” colorway.

As you can see in the images above, this is a silhouette that should be familiar. It has a fairly basic and orthodox style to it. However, that does not mean it is bad. Instead, it just means that this is timeless, and a lot of fans will find it to be mass-appealing. Firstly, this particular “Red Crush” colorway has an upper made of white leather and some white mesh. Secondly, the Nike swoosh, back heel, and even the outsole here are red. Overall, the Air Jordan 1, and more specifically, the High OG is one of the best shoes you can get these days. It feels like we are constantly being hit with some truly amazing colorways of this shoe. Moreover, it is simply an iconic silhouette that will always stand the test of time. It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t like the Jordan 1. However, when you do find that person, it is pretty easy to change their mind. At the end of the day, this is simply an amazing sneaker, and Jumpman is aware of the power they wield.

Throughout 2023, there has been a whole plethora of teasers for new offerings. Some of these Air Jordan 1 colorways have already been released. Although, with about seven months left in the year, Jumpman still has a lot up its sleeve. The summer is on the horizon, which means a lot of great new releases will be coming to the market. This includes the “Washed Heritage” Jordan 1, which can be seen in the Instagram post down below. In fact, these new images come from none other than @zsneakerheadz and Finish Line.

“Washed Heritage” Air Jordan 1

Based on the word “Washed” you can imagine that some of the materials here are muted. We believe that is meant to apply to the overlays here. As you can see up above, the shoe has a grey suede overlays that have a used quality to them. Furthermore, the base of the shoe is a nice white. This includes some black on the inner lining and Nike Air logo. Overall, it is simply a clean yet neutral color scheme.

It appears as though this new model is actually going to be released on June 10th. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed by Jordan Brand. Reebok aimed to reimagine the tales behind its most storied sneakers with the release of “Pump Universe” this past February, fusing their unique design cues and placing its storied custom-fit Pump technology at the forefront. In “Chapter 1,” Allen Iverson’s Question Mid and Shaq’s patented Shaq Attaq were reimagined in exciting ways for the tennis court.

Reebok throws the emphasis on two timeless classic models in “Pump Universe” “Chapter 2,” each of which was a champion of sport and fitness in the 1980s and 1990s and has since become an essential item:

Classic Leather Pump (GW4726/ GW4727/GW4729, $110): What if Reebok’s Classic Leather first dropped in the ‘90s? This reinterpretation of the brand’s signature ‘80s running shoe draws inspiration from Instapump Fury and other classic Reebok runners with an integrated tongue Pump ball and bladder, while carrying forward OG Classic Leather design elements like an all-leather upper, Reebok wordmark window box, cross check branding, and a rubber outsole.

Club C 85 Pump (GW4793/GW4794, $110): What if Michael Chang’s Court Victory was instead a Club C? Here, the brand’s classic low-profile tennis shoe is imagined as a signature Pump model, drawing inspiration, color, and design from the iconic Court Victory, while carrying forward OG Club C design elements like a leather upper, Reebok wordmark window box, embroidered heel logo, and a rubber midsole and outsole.

Jordan Zion 2 “Celestial Gold” Revealed

One of the best new basketball sneakers of this year has been the Jordan Zion 2. Unfortunately, Zion Williamson has been off of the court for a plethora of injury-related reasons. He can never find consistency, and overall, it has Pelicans fans worried. However, it has yet to affect his endorsements with the likes of Jordan Brand. They continue to pump out new colorways of his latest signature shoe, and fans are excited about each new drop. Despite his inactivity, the Zion 2 remains a top seller on the market.

Interestingly enough, we have not seen a ton of new Jordan Zion 2 colorways over the last few weeks. Although that could simply be a product of the Pelicans not being in the postseason. That said, with the Conference Finals about to begin, Jumpman is starting to reveal some new colorways again. As you can tell, this is a shoe that is meant to make a statement. Firstly, the upper is covered in various unique materials. Recently, @knowing_kicks on Instagram posted a plethora of high-quality images of this new shoe. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Quai 54” is looking spectacular thanks to a mismatched look that is simple, yet effective. Firstly, both shoes have a white base with black overlays. However, the differences are seen on the toe box and the back heel. The left shoe has a green toe box and a red back heel. Meanwhile, the right shoe has a red toe box and a green back heel. However, the outsole on both sneakers is red, which helps give some consistency.

This new photoshop rendering comes to us from the good folks over at sneakerfiles.com and @zsneakerheadz. Firstly, you can see that the shoe starts off by being covered in some regular white leather. Secondly, the cuff of the sneaker and the Nike swoosh get some nice burgundy patent leather. These are some very clean design choices that help this shoe stick out. While some may find these basic, others are going to be absolutely enamored by them. At the end of the day, a white base always seems to work out well.

From the mostly white upper to the blue highlights and the Nike Air back heel, this is a shoe that is going to impress.

Ye Files Trademark for New Line of YEEZY Sock Shoes

Ye is back in his creative bag, recently filing legal documents for the trademark of YEEZY SOCK SHOES. According to Hypebeast, Ye submitted the new design to the United States Patent and Trademark Office on May 4.

The application was filed by Ye’s Mascottee Holdings, Inc., stating the YZY SOCK SHOES will sell “Socks; socks with leather soles.”

Fans got a glimpse of the YEEZY SOCK SHOES following his YEEZY SEASON 10 show in L.A.

Adidas and Kanye West are back in business. News of the renewed partnership comes via the YEEZY MAFIA, a source of all things Yeezy, including his sneaker line.

Confirming the news, Reuters states Adidas CEO Bjoern Gulden revealed the renewed partnership to move some of the merchandise and donate a portion of the proceeds to international organizations.

A reported $1.3 billion in Yeezy-branded Adidas products are sitting in storage after the partnership was ended over the rapper’s antisemitic statements. Gulden stated plans for how Adidas will continue with the sale are not in place.

“What we are trying to do now over time is to sell some of this merchandise … burning the goods would not be a solution,” Gulden said.

Donating the sneakers was not an option out of fear the sneakers would reach the secondary market. Adidas stock is up 2% so far on the day. Ye would still receive 15% of the sales.

Speaking on the rapper, Culden stated about Ye, “As difficult as he was, he is perhaps the most creative mind in our industry.”

One shoe that has seemingly been taking the internet by storm is none other than the Jordan MVP. Overall, this is a hybrid shoe that combines the three sneakers Michael Jordan won his first three NBA titles in. Moreover, Jordan also won three Finals MVPs during this time, hence the name of the shoe. Although hybrid sneakers can sometimes get a bad rap, it is very clear that this new model has a lot going for it. Ultimately, it is a shoe that would thrive in the 90s.

Consequently, Jumpman has brought out a ton of 90s-themed colorways for this model. For instance, you can find a lot of colorways that we’ve already seen on shoes like the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 7. Following up the Air Jordan 7 aesthetic, we have this “Cardinal” color scheme, below. Firstly, the sneaker is covered in some white leather. This mimics the original “Cardinal” colorway, so it works out well. Moreover, this Jordan MVP has some nice red all around the upper including the tongue and the back heel tab. There is also some red and white on the midsole. Lastly, we get gold, red, and black on the Air Jordan 8-inspired overlay near the back heel. This gold is also found on the inner lining of the shoe.
