Well, on Thursday night he got himself caught up in a compromising position. Of course, this is all because of his own doing. Although, the point remains. Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison, Tory is saying that he has nothing to apologize for. He also thanked all of his fans for their support during this time.

“In no way shape or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of,” Tory said. “I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do. I’ve faced adversity my whole life and every time it looked like I would lose, I came out on top. This is nothing but another moment where my back is against the wall and I refuse to stop fighting till I come out victorious. Tough times don’t last, tough people do. Following Drake’s like on Instagram, many took to X, otherwise known as Twitter, to criticize him. Overall, the reactions were pretty much entirely negative. Many were disappointed in Drake, while others were quick to suggest he has some sort of beef with Meg. Some even think he was rejected and that this is his way of lashing out. Boosie Badazz Reacts To Tory Lanez Sentence

Boosie Badazz has always been vocal online when it comes to various topics concerning other artists. Overall, this has included the Tory Lanez trial. Although Tory was originally convicted back in December, he was only sentenced yesterday. This sentence was a huge one as he will now be going to prison for 10 years. Of course, this has led to numerous reactions online. Some say Tory got off easy, while others believe this is too harsh of a punishment. No matter what, it is a very polarizing topic.

In the eyes of Boosie, Tory actually got off very easily. Boosie harkened back to his own experience here, saying that in his home state, the punishment would have been a whole lot more severe. “I think he came out good, bro,” Boosie said. “I don’t know how California work. I think he’ll only do five [years] — that’s state time. Shit… in Louisiana, that n**** woulda did 40, n****. A crime on a woman? Highly televised? 40, n****. No cap.”

Boosie Badazz Speaks Out

Additionally, Boosie went on to say that Tory probably won’t serve much time anyway. Instead, he will serve about a third of his sentence and come out stronger than ever. “I think state time, you only do nothing but half,” Boosie stated. “Five years. He’ll do three years, a lil’ paper, he be back out, stronger than ever … You can’t take his talent away, bro. He’ll be back.” Overall, it remains to be seen how much time Tory will actually have to serve. It seems as though 8.5 years is the number floating around. Although, this could certainly change.

Tory Lanez & DaBaby Accused Of Trying To Ambush Megan Thee Stallion Performance

Tory Lanez is facing a very lengthy stay in prison right now. Just a few months ago, he was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot. Overall, this was a very substantial ruling that has led to a huge fallout. Moreover, Tory is trying to get his judge disqualified from the case, however, all of his motions have failed. Additionally, a recent memo from prosecutors reveals that they are now asking for a 13-year prison sentence.

Ultimately, this is not good for Tory Lanez, and it seems as though things are starting to get a lot worse. Within the memo published by legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, it was alleged that Tory and DaBaby had planned to ambush Meghan Thee Stallion’s performance at Rolling Loud in 2021. Despite a protective order, the two artists were within 100 yards of Meghan. Although they were unsuccessful at rushing the stage, Meg was understandably frightened by the alleged plan.

Tory Lanez Case Gets An Update

“During the victim’s performance, the defendant went through security clearance and entered the green room,” the memo reads. “These areas were within 100 yards of the stage where the victim was performing, in violation of the protective order. It was also brought to the victim’s attention that the defendant and DaBaby attempted to rush the stage… In no way was the victim previously aware of nor did she consent to the defendant’s presence at the venue when she would be performing.”

With Tory’s sentencing set to take place sometime soon, all of this will be taken into account. However, it is clear that the prosecution wants to make an example out of Tory Lanez. They feel as though his behavior before, during, and after the incident is unacceptable. Only time will tell what his prison sentence will be.
