The event at Sei Less brought holiday cheer to youth from families affected by the criminal justice system.

Children of Promise, NYC, is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people and addressing the stigma of incarceration in Black and Brown communities. The dinner aligned with the organization’s mission, offering the teens a night of support, celebration, and connection.

Celebrity hotspot Sei Less in New York City has created a special Valentine’s Day menu that honors musicians like Ashanti, SZA, NE-YO, Alicia Keys, Babyface, Miguel, and more with dishes titled after their great songs. The menu commemorates classic R&B/Hip-Hop love songs.

In addition to showcasing a variety of renowned romantic hitmakers who are regulars at Sei Less, the Lovers Menu will allow patrons to celebrate the season of love while indulging in the specialties of their favorite musicians. From February 12 through the end of the month, food enthusiasts will be able to savor the menu, which consists of appetizers, entrées, side dishes, desserts, and champagne.

The “Rock Wit You (Ashanti)” features edamame dumplings and miso truffle, two of the R&B singer’s personal favorites from Sei Less’ menu. The “Sexy Love (NE-YO),” which consists of spicy kung pao chicken with red bean sauce and peanuts, which NE-YO enjoys when he visits Sei Less. Look no further than “Boo’d Up (Ella Mai),” the shrimp fried rice specialty that Ella Mai and her colleagues enjoy as a delicious side dish.

Children of Promise is a community-centered organization dedicated to supporting children and families affected by mass incarceration. It stands out as the only NYC agency seamlessly providing therapeutic empowerment services and youth development under one roof, aiming to dismantle stigma and address trauma in Black and Brown communities.
