A heated confrontation between Machine Gun Kelly and Sean Strickland nearly turned physical during a Power Slap event in Las Vegas over the weekend. What did I miss? Is she OK? Is this man the devil? @meganfox are you ok? Do you need assistance?!” he wrote. Strickland added: “Someone said ‘Be careful MGK doesn’t like when you make fun of Megan’ What does that even mean? Do I need to glue wood chips in hollow points? Do I need to carry a crossbow? Buy a wooden stake? Is this how I become the new blade?!?!” Check out some of Strickland’s posts referencing Kelly below, as well as a clip of their altercation.

Sean Strickland Calls Out MGK

Drake Loses Massive UFC 297 Bet

Drake lost $700K as Dricus du Plessis beat Sean Strickland via split decision at UFC 297. The South African claimed the middleweight title after a bloody back-and-forth that could have easily gone the way of the defending champion. Furthermore, the bout was the fourth middleweight title fight to see the belt change hands. Drake would have won $1.4M if Strickland had been able to defend his title.

However, it’s also the second consecutive fight in which Strickland has lost Drake money. Previously, he lost $500,000 when Strickland stunned Israel Adesanya at UFC 293. Drizzy would have walked away with a cool $920K if Adesanya had won. However, Strickland pulled off what many are calling the greatest upset in UFC middleweight history.

Drake Jumps On “Tripod Bro” Trend

Meanwhile, Drake has also been jumping on some viral trends. He recently added to the growing collection of “tripod bro” videos, giving fans a vlog in which he shows off his nighttime routine. Drizzy mixes himself a drink, takes in some art, hits the hookah, and goes swimming. The entire thing is weirdly neon giving much of the apparent lighting in his home. Furthermore, he soundtracked the entire thing with “Virginia Beach”, a track from 2023’s For All The Dogs. The tripod bro trend has gone viral in recent weeks, with male lifestyle vloggers doing “a day in the life” style content.

However, there were also layers to Drake‘s vlog. He tagged Drew Walls, a lifestyle influencer who is often seen going to Target in his videos. This is seemingly another shot at Yasiim Bey, who recently said that Drake’s music is the sort of music that’s perfect for a Target run. That is what made the inclusion of the more ambient “Virginia Beach” so notable, given the recent criticism aimed at that sort of Drake track. However, as a result, fans are now clamoring for Drake to do another video, this time showing him going to Target.

Drake Bets $700,000 On Strickland-Du Plessis At UFC 297

Drake is back with another massive bet. The Canadian rapper showed off a Stake betting ticket showing he had put $700,000 on Sean Strickland to beat Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297. With Stake giving 1.97 odds on Strickland, Drake will come away with $1.4M if Strickland can take down his South African rival.

It appears that Drake has learned the error of his ways. Previously, he lost $500,000 when Strickland stunned Israel Adesanya at UFC 293. Drizzy would have walked away with a cool $920K if Adesanya had won. However, Strickland pulled off what many are calling the greatest upset in UFC middleweight history. While there wasn’t a KO in Sydney, Strickland edged out a close fight to win by unanimous decision and take the middleweight belt.

Sean Strickland Calls Out Andrew Tate

Meanwhile, Strickland has been taking his post-Adesanya fight fame in stride. In September 2023, days after beating Adesanya, Strickland called out Andrew Tate. “Here’s the thing about Andrew Tate. As young men, I can see why you look up to him because you are moralless men. You have no values, you have no positive role models. You latch onto a piece of shit like Tate, who has money, who has women. Andrew Tate is a con artist. Have you seen that interview where he goes on about how he used to pretend to be a cam girl and rob people’s savings? He has no remorse. If you want to look up to someone, look up to someone like Jordan Peterson,” Strickland said.

As for Drake, his last big bet was on Logan Paul’s fight with Dillon Danis. Drake lost $850K despite Logan Paul claiming victory over Dillon Danis last night. The musician had put down the massive bet on Paul to beat Danis via KO in the six-round fight in Manchester. However, as the fight officially ended via disqualification, Drake’s bet was officially unsuccessful. If Paul had managed to knock out Danis, Drake would have walked away with $1.35M.

Sean Strickland Puts Andrew Tate On Blast

Newly crowned UFC champion Sean Strickland made his thoughts on male lifestyle influencer Andrew Tate very clear in a recent podcast interview. If you want to look up to someone, look up to someone like Jordan Peterson.”

This is nothing new about Tate but it’s interesting to see Strickland come out so vehemently against him. Despite this army of followers, Tate garners a lot of hate from people he would likely model as good alpha males. However, it appears that Strickland’s beef is less with his ideology (given he promoted fellow grifter Jordan Peterson) and more with Tate’s business practices. Tate is yet to respond but it’s likely that he probably will in the next few days. We’ll bring you that response if and when it comes.

Dana White Wants Strickland To Rematch Adesanya

Away from the podcast mic, Strickland is likely waiting on confirmation that he will be rematching Israel Adesanya for the UFC middleweight belt. “The rematch is interesting,” White said. “That could be the thing, too. You go into the Pereira fight, it’s such a big fight, and then you overlook Strickland? I don’t know the answers to these questions, but Israel does and I’m looking forward to hearing them.” At this point, it’s tradition to give stars like Adesanya the chance to win their belt back. After all, Strickland was simply meant to be an entertaining opponent for Adesanya to beat while Driscus du Plessis recovered from injury. It’s likely that Adesanya will get another shot to reclaim his title before new paths are forged in the middleweight division.

“I had a different plan for this, but life throws curveballs at you,” Adesanya said. “Win or lose, I wasn’t going to say much anyway, but right now, I lost tonight to the better man on the night and I just want to be with people who care about me, my team, so I’m going to go do that,” Adesanya said after the fight. He was gracious in defeat, lifting Strickland’s arm before he left the Octagon.

Israel Adesanya Promises To Break Sean Strickland’s Jaw If He Talks In The Ring During UFC 293 Fight

There’s certainly no love lost between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland. The two men are due to face off in the headline fight of UFC 293 on September 10, with Adesanya seeking to defend his middleweight belt. Of course, the pair have traded barbs back and forth in the run-up to the bout. However, it appears that Adesanya is tired of Strickland running his mouth.

“I do wanna shut him up and I’m gonna shut him up. I’m gonna break his jaw if he keeps talkin’ to me while he’s in there, trust. When you’re talkin’, you never know when a shot’s coming, the jab can hit you while your mouth open and send your jaw to the back of your head,” Adesanya told TMZ. “[Sean] should just thank me. He got his passport, he got the fight, he gets to travel out of the country for the first time, actually see the world instead of being a fucking hillbilly and yeah, he should thank me. Should really appreciate the fact that I got him the opportunity and he’s gonna get paid, he can buy his boat and then he can fuck off and make other opportunities,” he continued.

Adesanya Headlines UFC’s Return To Australia

UFC 293 is the first event to be held in Australia since 2017. For Adesanya, it will be his seventh title defense fight, but his first since reclaiming the belt at UFC 287. Stylebender briefly lost the belt to Alex Periera at UFC 281 in 2022 but won it back in the rematch in April of this year. However, Strickland wasn’t the first choice for this fight. Adesanya was meant to fight Dricus du Plessis, the South African fighter that he has been publicly beefing with for most of this year. However, with du Plessis injured, the fifth-ranked Strickland was subbed in.

“Do I think he deserves it? I think he’s been in there long enough to earn it. To step in there with me, my ego says no. My ego says we’re levels above. He knows it. I know but he knows he still has a chance of winning this fight. I just have to make sure it’s the minimalist chance ever. That’s my job. “I know he’s dangerous because a man with everything to gain and nothing to lose is a fucking dangerous man but I have a habit of making dangerous men look easy,” Adesanya said when asked if Strickland deserved the title shot.
