De’Aaron Fox Fractures Finger, Doubtful For Game 5

De’Aaron Fox has become a star during the first round of the NBA playoffs. Fox has shown a more extensive audience just what he can do on the hardwood. The Kings have been a highly contested matchup with the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors tied up the series on Sunday after the Kings missed the go-ahead final bucket. Now the Kings could be taking another loss. It was revealed on Monday that Fox fractured his index finger in his left shooting hand.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the 2022-23 Clutch Player of the Year is now doubtful for Game 5. Losing Fox would be detrimental to any chance the Kings would have in advancing past the first round. Fox has been the go-to guy for the Kings all season. Which is why the former Kentucky star earned the clutch award in its first season. However, now Fox and the Kings will have to overcome more than the Warriors. Fox has yet to comment on the injury. Although fans should expect his comments before Tuesday.

The Kings Losing De’Aaron Fox May Seal Their Fate

The Kings guard has been the heartbeat of the team all season. Along with college teammate Malik Monk and Domantas Sabonis, the Kings have been a feel-good story. However, the time for feel-good stories is long over. The Warriors have dealt with injuries and suspensions on their end as well. So the excuse of Fox not being available will not matter to anyone in the Warriors fanbase. Game 5 will take place on Wednesday night.

Fox will have a few days to test his finger before Game 5. However, the Kings will look to be incredibly cautious with the face of their franchise. Losing in the first round this season would be disappointing. However, worrying about the future may far outweigh what stands before them this season. The Kings seem to have a young and talented roster. Which means they don’t have to go all in for this season. Do you believe the injury to De’Aaron Fox is a series killer to the Kings? E-40 Dropped A New Song And Video About Sitting In The ‘Front Row’ After Getting Ejected From The Warriors And Kings Game

The Sacramento Kings are up 2-0 on the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, but the Kings took an L when E-40 was controversially ejected from Game 1 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Saturday, April 15.

The following day, E-40 released a statement explaining that he felt he “was subjected to disrespectful heckling” and was met with “racial bias” when Golden 1 Center security “assumed that I instigated the encounter and proceeded to kick me out of the arena” (as reported by Shams Charania):

E-40 issued another statement, this time alongside the Kings, on Wednesday, April 19, and it was determined “that there was a miscommunication regarding the circumstances” and clarified that E-40 “did not stand excessively from his ticketed courtside seat.” Here it is in full:

But today, April 20, E-40 had the final word. He dropped “Front Row 40” along with a video directed by Jae Synth. The visual finds E-40 reclaiming his rightful place courtside. “Front Row 40, four-seat Earl / Feet on the wood, me and my girl,” the Bay Area icon raps as footage cycles through of E-40’s past front-row adventures.

E-40 boasts about people saying “they watch the games just to see what I’m gonna wear” and “text me and say they see me on the Jumbotron.” Of course, the video wouldn’t be complete without a clip of Steph Curry dapping up E-40.

It’s likely that E-40 will be in attendance to root on his Dubs in Game 3 at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, but it sounds like 50 Cent might be a game-time decision. The Warriors will need all the juice they can get from their home crowd; they’ll be without Draymond Green, who was suspended for tonight’s Game 3 after stomping on Domantas Sabonis in Game 2. The game tips off at 7 p.m. local time.

Sacramento Kings And E-40 Release Joint Statement

Last week, Bay Area rap legend E-40 was removed from the Sacramento Kings’ 126-123 win over the Golden State Warriors. E-40, who is a prominent Warriors fan, claims that his ejection was due to “racial bias”. According to E-40, he was subjected to consistent heckling from a white fan but security only intervened when he responded. He claimed that the security at the Golden 1 Center viewed him as the instigator. The incident occurred partway through the fourth quarter.

E-40’s account was met with a wave of support, including a vocal call for an apology by Jalen Rose. E-40’s claims of racial bias stemmed from the fact that his white friend was not ejected with him. The Kings responded by opening an investigation into the incident. Now, it appears as though things have been resolved as the two parties released a joint statement.

Kings And E-40 Attribute Ejection To “Misunderstanding”

“After a series of thoughtful and transparent conversations, both parties agree that there was a miscommunication regarding the circumstances that occurred during the Kings vs. Warriors game on Saturday night.” the statement began. E-40’s addressing of the heckling behind him had been characterized as “excessive standing” but these claims were addressed as the statement continued. “Contrary to speculation, Mr. Earl “E-40″ Stevens did not stand excessively from his ticketed courtside seat; the outcome resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding between two parties.” This claim was undercut by ESPN sources claiming E-40 was not warned about his conduct prior to being removed.

The statement concluded by reaffirming the King’s commitment to the league’s “Fan Code of Conduct” and stating the team is “looking forward to welcoming him back to our arena in the future.” E-40 is a staple of Bay Area basketball, well-known for having seats close to the Warriors bench. E-40 did not attend Game 2 in Sacramento, which was another Kings win. However, his spokesperson informed ESPN that he would be in attendance at the Chase Center-hosted Game 3. No comment was made about whether E-40 would return to Golden 1 if the series mandates it. The Kings will travel to the Chase Center on Thursday, looking to make the series 3-0.

Warriors-Kings Rivalry Takes Another Twist

The Golden State Warriors will be without Draymond Green for Game 3. In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, the NBA has suspended Green for stomping Kings forward Domantas Sabonis in Game 2. The news of the suspension came on Wednesday evening. Green’s past history with on the court issues didn’t help his case in avoiding suspension. However, now Golden State is shifting the focus to Sabonis. The team is now claiming that the Kings star is playing with no intent on safety.

According to senior ESPN writer Zach Lowe, Golden State has expressed major concern for Sabonis’ play in this series. “There is some anger within the organization toward the league. There’s a sense in the organization that Sabonis is shoving people on offensive rebounds and playing with his elbows out and using the ball as a weapon on offense.” Using the term weapon is for sure to get some eyes on Sabonis when Game 3 takes place. With Sabonis’ latest altercation with Green, officials were bound to be watching him closely anyway.

Warriors Claim Sabonis Is Using Basketball As Weapon

The series has been a very physical one. Even JJ Redick has called out the officiating for letting the game become too physical. However, now the series has become more than just a game. If the Golden State organization is comparing a basketball to a weapon, then we could be walking down a dangerous path. However, one has to think that Sabonis will not be changing his playing style any time soon. But it does beg the question of how Game 3 will be officiated.

Don’t expect Game 3 to match the physicality of the first two games in this series. Obviously, the players realize how many people will be looking for the next physical altercation. However, the Kings are just worried about putting another nail in the Golden State coffin. Do you believe the series between the Warriors and Kings will now be tightly called by the officials? If it is, which team will have the leg up in a game with a lot of whistles? Let us know your thoughts on the situation in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.

JJ Redick Claims Refs Have Favored Kings In Playoff Series

JJ Redick has a strong opinion as to one of the reasons the Sacramento Kings have jumped out to a 2-0 series lead on the Warriors. The former college basketball star claims the officiating has been terrible for the Warriors. On Wednesday’s edition of First Take, Redick went all in on the officiating during the series. Redick believes the officials have controlled too much of the game. While also allowing the physicality to reach way too high of a point.

“The referees have dictated too much in the Kings’ favor in this series, I really believe that.” That was the statement made by Redick during his thoughts on the Kings-Warriors series. Redick also mentioned that maybe the officials have been caught up in the homecourt crowd in Sacramento. The Kings are hosting their first playoff series in almost two decades. The fans of the franchise have brought the electricity in the first two games of the series. Which ended with the team lighting the beam. Check out Redick’s full comments in the video clip below.

JJ Redick Blames Officiating For Part Of Warriors Struggles

Obviously, the physicality has hit a fever pitch in the series. Draymond Green is the main topic of all discussions this week. After the Warriors star stomped Domantas Sabonis in Game 2. However, we have yet to see how much the officiating will change, as Game 3 has yet to happen. But one has to think the officials will be keeping an eye on anything that looks too physical. However, it may already be too late for the Warriors to make a comeback.

NBA officiating is now taking a hit during the playoffs. On Tuesday night, Chirs Paul broke his Scott Foster curse. Finally, winning a game that was officiated by Foster. Along with the debate on if charges should still be a part of the game. It looks as if officials will be the next target to sit under the microscope. 50 Cent Thinks The Warriors Might Kick Him Out Of The Next Game After The Kings Ejected E-40 In Game 1

Throughout the first two games of the NBA Playoffs series between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors, the Kings’ beverage partner 50 Cent has been a fixture at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

However, it sounds like he might be rethinking making the trip 370 miles northwest to the Warriors’ Chase Center for the next few games after one of his rap peers, E-40, was given the boot from Game 1 after a contentious exchange with another fan in the expensive seats. 50 joked about the Warriors exacting vengeance for their unofficial rap mascot on Instagram.

“I was thinking about jumping on this jet to the Bay Area for game 3 but the KINGS kicked E40 out,” he wrote. “They might want to kick 50 out the Chase center. LOL.”

The Dubs have reason to be a little salty after the first two games of the series, which Sacramento now leads 2-0 after defeating the Warriors 114-106 on Monday night. To add insult to injury, the cornerstone of Golden State’s defense, Draymond Green, was suspended one game after stepping on the chest of Kings forward Domantas Sabonis — an incident 50 had thoughts about as well.

E-40 was kicked out of Game 1 after the altercation, which started when a fan behind him told him to sit down. The Vallejo rapper made it a point to ascribe the response to “racial bias” in a statement, writing, “Security saw a disagreement between a Black man and a white woman and immediately assumed I was at fault.”

If 50 does make the trip, he could probably avoid a similar outcome, so long as he does the opposite of his rap career and doesn’t start any beef.

De’Aaron Fox Wins Clutch Player Of The Year, Twitter Reacts

De’Aaron Fox is having himself a career season. The Kings guard can now add another accolade to his successful season. However, for this award, Fox is the first player to ever win the award. On Tuesday, it was announced that Fox became the NBA’s first Clutch Player of the Year. Being clutch is not something you work at becoming. It is already in your DNA. For Fox, fans knew he would be clutch going back to his college days at Kentucky. Now he has the hardware to show for it.

While the award is great, Fox has plenty of other things on his plate. Sacramento is looking to make quick work of the reigning champion Golden State Warriors. Fox has been one of the biggest reasons the Kings own a 2-0 series lead over the Warriors. The all-star guard continues to dazzle fans with his quickness. The Warriors have yet to find an answer to stopping Fox in each of the team’s first two matchups. But Fox is facing one of the most clutch players of all time in, Steph Curry.

De’Aaron Fox Makes NBA History

Fox’s regular season numbers in crunch time reflect his winning of the award. According to StatMuse, Fox was first in clutch points in the league. As well as first in clutch FG%, 1st in 4th quarter points, and the most clutch points since LeBron James in 2018 with 194. With those numbers, it would have been a robbery if anyone else had won the award. Having someone this clutch on your side should bring comfort to Kings fans. Fox has already proven to be a clutch player in his first playoff appearance.

The Kings are just two more victories away from moving on to the second round. But those victories will not come easy. It will take clutch performances from De’Aaron Fox and continued great games from names like Sabonis and Monk. The Kings want to show the league that they’re here to stay. Beating the Warriors will do just that. What are your thoughts on the newest NBA award? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.

Kendrick Perkins Claims Warriors Are Being Outcoached

Kendrick Perkins believes to know the reason the Sacramento Kings have a 2-0 lead over the Golden State Warriors. The NBA veteran points to the coaching performances of each team. Kings head coach Mike Brown has been a great story this season. Brown jumped in the spotlight as head coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers back in LeBron’s first stint with the franchise. However, things didn’t work out in Cleveland, leading Brown to be bounced around the league. Until he landed with the Warriors as an assistant coach.

Brown was on Steve Kerr’s staff at Golden State for the last six seasons. Until this past off-season when Brown was offered another chance to be a head coach. Now Brown has the Kings in one of the best positions the franchise has seen in the last two decades. However, to reach that next step, Brown must take down his good friend Kerr. A mission that Perkins already believes Brown is doing. Check out the video of Perkins breaking down the coaching performances of Kerr and Brown below.

Kendrick Perkins Believes Steve Kerr Is Losing The Coaching Battle

“Mike Brown has been coaching circles around Steve Kerr… now Mike Brown is doing his thing and showing why he’s Coach of The Year,” Perkins stated when discussing how the two teams have been performing. Perkins believes it was the Kings adjustments that led to the team earning the 2-0 lead. The NBA veteran even went further, discussing the Kings potentially winning the series. The former Boston big man wants the Warriors to be at full strength. Because he doesn’t want to hear excuses if the team doesn’t win this series.

Right now, the Warriors playoff future looks bleak. The Kings have been firing on all cylinders and own the big lead. However, writing off a team that has Steph Curry would be a rather foolish thing to do. The Warriors may lose this season. But one can guarantee they won’t lose it without a fight. Do you agree with Kendrick Perkins on Brown controlling the game over Kerr? Can the Warriors turn this into a competitive series? Let us know what you think in the comment section. 50 Cent Was Quick To Fire Off A ‘Big Stepper’ Joke About Draymond Green Stomping Domantas Sabonis

Round one of the NBA Playoffs is well underway and the latest twist in the epic sports narrative that has been the 2023 NBA season is an event that took place during last night’s Game 2 of the series between the Golden State Warriors and the surprise success of the season, the Sacramento Kings.

In the fourth quarter, as the Kings led the Warriors 91-87 in Sacramento, the Dubs’ Draymond Green and the Kings’ Domantas Sabonis got tangled up fighting for a rebound, leading to Sabonis ending up on the floor (for what felt like the 99th time this series) and grabbing at Green’s ankles to prevent him from getting back down the court.

Whether by accident or design, Green wound up planting his foot dead in the middle of his opponent’s chest, resulting in his expulsion from the game. The incident seems to be all anyone can talk about this morning, with Shaq standing up for Draymond on last night’s Inside The NBA and lots of fans chiming in — including rap’s resident supervillain, 50 Cent.

50, who has a drinks partnership with the Kings and attended both games in Sacramento, was quick with the jokes on Instagram. “Said @money23green what the fuck you do that for?” he wrote in the caption of a pair of screenshots of the incident. “He said 50 im a big stepper, i’m out here steppin on sh*t it’s the play offs.”

I guess 50 approves, but that’s no surprise from someone who had as many rivalries on records as Green has had on the court.
