Meek Mill Voices Support For Chris Brown & Calls Out Ruffles

Meek Mill voiced his support for Chris Brown on Twitter, Sunday night, after the singer claimed the NBA uninvited him from the All-Star Celebrity Game to keep sponsors happy. In turn, Meek criticized Ruffles and told fans to support Rap Snacks.

“That’s why it’s important we support rap snacks …. I live @RapSnacksNow over ruffles black owned and taste better!!!!!!” Meek wrote. Brown explained the situation on his Instagram Story, implying that backlash to his infamous felony assault conviction for physically abusing Rihanna in 2009 caused the league to drop him from the game.

The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side… NOT F*CKING HAPPENING.” For its part, Ruffles has released a statement denying that they protested any celebrities involvement in the game. “Ruffles sponsored last night’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, however Ruffles did not have any involvement in, nor visibility to, any player decisions or celebrity invite discussions,” the company said. Akbar V has voiced her support for Chris Brown amid claims that Brown was uninvited from the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. “This why i say us blacks don’t stick together. Right in front of our eyes we are watching them do Chris brown bad and nobody is standing with him. He’s a father and a entertainer who we have watched kick down unbelievable doors. Brown himself had added more fuel to the fire over the weekend, going after event sponsor Ruffles. “@Ruffles [cap emoji x5]. I guess y’all tryna save face now. STAND ON BUSINESS. Don’t try to make it look like I’m trippin. YOU AND THE NBA representatives know exactly what y’all doin!” Brown wrote on Instagram. Breezy was speaking out after Ruffles issued a statement stating that they were merely the sponsor of the event and had no say in the selection of participants. The brand then took to the comments of The Shade Room. “Wasn’t us, we found out about it the same time y’all did🤷‍♂️,” the brand wrote in response to the outlet’s reporting of their statement.

Chris Brown Claims He Was Uninvited From NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

Chris Brown has claimed that he was uninvited from the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. “I was asked by the NBA to play in the All-Star Game this year! Only for them to call later and say I couldn’t do it because of their sponsors like Ruffles. At this point, I’m sick of bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f-cking past,” Brown wrote on Instagram. It’s the second major event in a week that Brown has seemingly been excluded from. Usher confirmed in a recent interview that he did not consider Chris Brown for a cameo at his Super Bowl halftime show. “No, I did not reach out to Chris Brown. I’m not gon’ tell you everybody I reached out to. I reached out to some hitters. I was curating what would be one of the greatest Super Bowls of all time and it actually turned into that because of who I reached out to,” Usher said.

Meanwhile, Kai Cenat has been thoroughly roasted despite being on the winning team for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Meanwhile, Cenat, who talked a big game before the event, saw very limited minutes and scored just four points all game for Team Shannon. Instead, Cenat was constantly seen having his calls for the ball ignored by game MVP Micah Parsons. Parsons absolutely balled out, putting up 37 points and 16 rebounds.

However, Team Stephen put up a valiant effort. C.J. Stroud, fresh off dating rumors with Amber Rose, put up 31 and 9. Meanwhile, YouTuber Tristan Jass put up 27 and 10 in the nine-point loss. Despite this, Stephen A. fell to his ESPN colleague despite declaring hours earlier that there was no way he was going to lose the game.
