YoungBoy Claims He’s Going Back To Baton Rouge

While it’s a bit murky and unclear, it seems like NBA YoungBoy just claimed he’s going back home to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Moreover, he was staying in Utah under house arrest before his gun felony trial, but he didn’t detail whether he was done with that commitment. Nevertheless, a video surfaced on social media of the rapper (masked behind a furry balaclava) saying: “On my way to BR. We having a second dump day.” However, a lot of people are raising their eyebrows and this clip, calling him a stunt double and wondering what the legal update is on his Utah stay.

Still, no matter where YB finds himself, fans should expect some great stuff from him soon. In fact, he recently spoke about his upcoming album Don’t Try This At Home. “I’mma be talking crazy on there,” the chart-topping star remarked to Rap Radar. “I’mma show you Murda Man… but I’m lettin’ you know, though: Don’t try this at home.” Of course, that refers to the MC’s changing perspective on violence and more negative behaviors espoused in his music.

YoungBoy Seemingly Coming Back To Baton Rouge

“I think about how many lives I actually am responsible for when it comes to my music,” he told Billboard. “How many girls I got feeling like if you don’t go about a situation that your boyfriend’s bringing on you in his way, you’re wrong? How many people have put this s**t in their ears and actually went and hurt someone? Or how many kids felt like they needed to tote a gun and walked out the house and toted it the wrong way? Now he’s fixing to sit there and do years of his life that he can’t get back.”

Also, it’s not like the “Put It On Me” star didn’t find new things to appreciate in Utah. In fact, he wants to get a Mormon baptism after spending meaningful time with missionaries. “I wanted help very badly,” he explained. “I needed a friend. And it hit me. It was just cool to see someone with a different mindset that had nothing to do with business or money. Just these wonderful souls… make sure my heart is in the right space.” Let us know what you think of his apparent return to Louisiana in the comments below and stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

Balenciaga was one of many companies to cut ties with Kanye West, last year, due to a series of erratic behaviors. He made countless antisemitic remarks, including a threat to “go Death Con 3” on Jewish people, praised Adolf Hitler, and much more. In October, the brand announced in a statement: “Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist.”

After a tumultuous stretch for West in the fall of 2022, he’s mostly avoided headlines in the last couple of months. In February, however, he had a heated run-in with paparazzi in which he demanded privacy for himself and his new wife, Bianca Censori. “I still got rights as a man,” he told a photographer at the time. “I still got rights as a man. You ain’t taking no more photos. And tell everybody else they ain’t taking no more photos of my wife. You want me to follow you and your wife? Let me take pictures of your wife? I’mma start taking pictures of your wife.” Check out Kanye’s new IG post below.

Lil Dicky Feels “Misrepresented” By Old Music, Will Return To Rap

Lil Dicky recently expressed that he feels “misrepresented” by his old music and wants to come back to hip-hop. Of course, he’s been incredibly busy with his hit FX TV show, Dave. Moreover, he preceded small-screen ambitions with a cheeky and playful music career, one that he plans to revitalize. In a recent interview with Consequence, the multi-medium artist spoke about his thought process.

“I do feel bad for my music fans — I would be so annoyed at me,” he began. “But it’s not because of laziness. I don’t think I could work any harder than I work. As soon as I finish working on the show, and it’s the off-season, I’m in the studio every single day trying to get this thing done … There probably is a belief that ‘he’s never gonna put out an album. He’s just an actor.’ But it’s just not true. I don’t care when or how long it takes. I am going to put that second album out.”

Moreover, Lil Dicky’s humorous career has drawn comparisons to everyone from Eminem to Kanye West, as odd as those may sound. After first breaking out with viral tracks and his Professional Rapper album, he’s looking for a change of pace. Also, he shared how his previous work didn’t showcase his true talent, and how he evolved since then.

“I feel totally misrepresented by my music online because it’s all so old, and I’m just so much better than that as an artist,” he said. “When I first started out, I was making my songs in my San Francisco apartment for like two years before I even showed anybody anything because I just wanted to build the right body of work. And I think I’m just trying to build the right body and roll it out the right way, and I just get better and better … I’ve advanced as an artist. I just need the time.”

What do you think of Lil Dicky feeling misrepresented by his art and teasing a return to his rap career? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for more news from hip-hop media crossovers- and comebacks.
