Rihanna’s Popular ‘Fenty Puma’ Collaboration Is Making A Grand Return, According To A Cryptic New Post

After an already-record year for Rihanna, between playing the Super Bowl halftime show and announcing that she’s having another child with ASAP Rocky, it seems she still has a lot more surprises in store. Today (March 1), Puma teased that the singer’s Fenty x Puma collaboration will be making a return — through a straight-to-the-point message.

“She’s back,” Puma’s social media post read, adding, “Coming soon.”

Back in 2014, Rihanna was appointed by Puma as their Women’s Training Ambassador and Women’s Creative Director.

“It’s great to find a brand that celebrates strength and individuality,” Rihanna said back in 2014 (as Complex notes). “I couldn’t think of a more perfect partner to collaborate with as a creative director. I’m excited for you to see what Puma and I come up with.”

A few years later, she went on to appear on the runway at the Fenty Puma 2016 fashion show, in support of the popular partnership. The collection previously included sneakers, fur slides, backpacks, jackets, bodysuits, and more.

While there is not much else on information regarding Fenty x Puma’s return, fans can still purchase past items on resale spots like The Real Real and other sites. They can also expect to see Rihanna perform at the Oscars on March 12.

PUMA Hoops Debuts Latest Edition of LaMelo Ball’s MB.02 Sneaker

PUMA Hoops Debuts Latest Edition of LaMelo Ball's MB.02 Sneaker

The MB.02 Flare is the latest addition to LaMelo Ball’s extraordinary PUMA Hoops range. A NITRO foam-infused midsole that mimics Melo’s distinctive wings serves as the foundation for this second model. The concept expands in epic proportions onto the constructed woven mesh upper, providing a broad-reaching design statement, and a vibrant pop of color adds punch to the court-ready kick, while the instantly recognizable “1 of 1” marking reiterates that nothing else comes close.

PUMA Hoops’ distinctive NITRO foam-infused midsole provides improved responsiveness and comfort while being lightweight—ideal for high-energy, explosive playstyles. Because of its full-coverage designed nonslip rubber compound and feather (a tribute to Melo’s characteristic wings) tread pattern for better durability and traction, the shoe is also great for rapid cutbacks and spot-up jumpers. Finally, the fit features a revolutionary upper design comprised of engineered woven mesh and multizone blended materials for targeted support, comfort, and breathability in a lightweight package.

Retailing for $130, the MB.02 Flare will be available Friday, February 24 in both men’s and kid’s sizes at PUMA.com, Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Foot Locker Canada, Champs Sports and Champs Sports Canada.

Cordae’s Hi Level Collaboration With Puma Is A ‘Full Circle Moment’ Years In The Making For The Rapper

Last year, Jack Harlow announced his official partnership with New Balance before playing in the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Last weekend, Cordae rocked Puma in the 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Gameoffering a slice of pizza to Fat Joe mid-game — ahead of unveiling his brand and record label Hi Level is collaborating with Puma.

The announcement came yesterday, February 22, and the collection became available today, February 23:

“In middle school, the public school I went to in PG County, we had to wear uniforms. It was a white shirt, khaki pants, and all-black sneakers, so I always rocked the Puma suedes,” Cordae told Nice Kicks. “It’s been a full-circle moment.”

The Grammy-nominated rapper continued, “I like things to be organic and natural. All the extracurricular stuff they do for communities across the globe is tight. Even though they work with amazing artists, it wasn’t based on past work with artists but on how our relationship has been — a collaborative, cooperative thing. They gave me a lot of creative control and let me bring some of my friends, it turned out dope.”

Cordae has been linked to Puma since 2019, and he founded Hi Level in 2021. His “Hi Level Mentality” TED Talk was the series’ most popular of 2022. In December, Cordae and Puma gave away 200 pairs of sneakers to students at his aforementioned middle school in Maryland.

This isn’t the most exciting Cordae-related announcement of 2023, though. Tennis champion Naomi Osaka, his girlfriend, announced last month that they are expecting their first child.

Cordae and Jack Harlow are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Pelé Reportedly Received $120K From Puma Leading To Massive Adidas Feud

Soccer legend Pelé passed away yesterday at the age of 82. He was a true legend of the sport as he won a record three World Cups for his home country of Brazil. To this day, Pelé remains one of the most influential soccer players in the entire world, and for good reason.

Overall, he was seen as someone who could inspire more than just a Nation, but the entire world. He was soccer’s first global superstar. Without him, people like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo simply would not exist. Consequently, the whole world holds him in high regard.

Pelé x Puma

Following his death, many took to social media with interesting stories about the soccer star. Joe Pompliano came through with arguably the coolest of them all. If you are a big sneaker fanatic, you are going to love this.

Firstly, it beings with Adolf and Rudolf Dassler who were two brothers who went into the sneaker business together. Eventually, the two had a falling out and went on to create competing companies. Adolf created Adidas and Rudolf made Puma. While they were in competition, they had reportedly created a pact that made it so neither company would sign Pelé to an endorsement deal. Overall, they felt like the soccer star was so expensive he would make them go bankrupt.

Unfortunately, Puma immediately went back on its word and during the 1970 World Cup, they paid Pelé to tie his show at midfield. With the camera closing in on his shoe, it revealed that the Brazilian was wearing Puma. Subsequently, Adidas was angered, while Puma went on to sell millions worth of shoes and cleats.

Overall, it is an incredible story that speaks to just how important Pelé was as an individual. He could influence the masses, and with everyone watching the World Cup, he ultimately ignited a huge sneaker war.

Kyrie Irving Gaining Interest From These Sneaker Companies

Kyrie Irving has been dealing with quite a bit as of late. Of course, he lost his deal with Nike following his unfortunate post on social media. Although Kyrie has apologized for his actions, Nike has decided to drop him from the brand. Now, Kyrie will have to look elsewhere for a sneaker deal.

There are plenty of amazing sneaker brands out there. Nike isn’t the only fish in the sea, although they are the biggest one. Having said that, there are plenty of up-and-coming brands that aren’t as mainstream, who could use Kyrie’s services. Simply put, the point guard has options.

Brands Want Kyrie Irving

According to Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson of Bally Sports, Kyrie is being pursued by quite a few imprints. For instance, Adidas, New Balance, and Puma are all keeping their eyes on him. Furthermore, independent sneaker brand SIA has already met with Kyrie.

“I can tell you that last week, Irving and his representation did meet with independent sneaker owner SIA, and there’s no imminent decision on whether or not Irving and his team will sign with the company.,” Robinson reported. “But I’m told everybody is paying attention to the Nets point guard. Everybody’s reached out, and that’s including, I’m told, Adidas and others.”

No matter what Kyrie does, there will certainly be people out there who want to follow him. He remains a popular figure, and he has always delivered some dope sneakers. Whether or not another brand can execute his vision, still remains to be seen.

Let us know which brand you think Kyrie should work with, down in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for updates on this developing story.
