Diddy Reflects On Experience With Toad Venom Psychedelics

Diddy recently reflected on his experience using psychedelic toad venom, also known as 5-MeO-DMT, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday. “I’m the type of guy [who’ll] try anything once… with an ambulance outside,” Diddy joked on the show. “Eric didn’t see what I saw,” he added, referencing Eric Andre, who previously discussed his own experience with the drug with Jimmy Kimmel.

Diddy continued: “I had an experience. I had heard Mike Tyson and Joe Rogan talking about it. You know, you have to be in the wave of just like, into looking for what’s passed here sometimes to be into psychedelics. But, it’s something that I wouldn’t recommend unless you are using my man and I’ll give y’all my man’s number after this. I wouldn’t advise it to anybody, but I could just speak on my experiences. I took the chance.” From there, he added that he won’t go into detail about how it went. “That’s the rules,” he said.

And when I did toad, I officially had a ego death.” After describing the drug as life-changing, he added: “It’s a journey you don’t even remember. The best way to describe it is it’s just like a opening of a whole different portal, without you seeing it open.” Check out Diddy’s latest comments on the trip below.

Jaden Smith Says Jada Introduced Family To Psychedelics

The Smith family appears to have found a newfound appreciation for psychedelic substances. According to Jaden Smith, his mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, introduced psychedelics to the family. Per Essence, the entrepreneur and artist appeared as a guest speaker at the Psychedelic Science conference in Denver. During his appearance, he opened up about his experience with psychedelic substances. He explained that it was his mother who initially helped introduce him to hallucinogens. “I think it was my mom, actually, that was really the first one to make that step for the family,” he said.

Jaden explained that his mother had already uncovered the benefits of psychedelics. From there, she shared her discoveries with the rest of the family. “It was just her for a really, really long time. And then, eventually it just trickled and evolved and everybody found it in their own ways,” he explained. Jaden said that it’s helped him in many ways. From his own ventures to how he approaches his philanthropic work and his personal relationships. Ultimately, Jaden has found the use of hallucinogens as an incredibly useful tool in his life.

Jaden, specifically, explained how the use of psychedelics helped his relationships with his brother and sister. “Siblings can argue so much and fight so much, and lord knows me and my siblings have done so much of that in the past,” he said. “But the level of love and empathy that I can feel for them inside of the (psychedelic) experiences and outside of the experiences has been something that’s profound and beautiful.”

He also added that it’s helped him work out issues without having to resort to tense conflict. “It will actually help us to open up our minds to get out of the old ways of thinking that got us into lots of these arguments and open it up so that it just releases and makes room for you to work it out and massage it out until it’s completely gone,” he said. Psychedelics remain a popular topic, one that’s gained support in states like Colorado and Oregon. The former has actually legalized psilocybin, DMT, and mescalin.

Aaron Rodgers Advocates For Legalization Of Psychedelics In Keynote Speech

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has publicly advocated for the legalization of psychedelics. He did so at a conference hosted by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, the US’ largest psychedelics advocacy group. Rodgers is famous for his use of psychedelic substances, notably Ayahuasca.

“Is it not ironic that the things that actually expand your mind are illegal and the things that keep you in the lower chakras and d*mb you down have been legal for centuries?” said Rodgers, who is also a prominent anti-vaxxer. Later, speaking with podcaster Aubrey Marcus, Rodgers pointed to his usage of Ayahuasca during the 2019 season.

“You know, it’s going to be hard to cancel me, because, you know, the previous year, 26 touchdowns, four interceptions. We had a good season. Ayahuasca, 48 touchdowns, five interceptions, MVP. What are you going to say?” Rodgers argued.

Rodgers Speaks On Acceptance Of Psychedelics

Rodgers’ comments come after voters in Colorado chose to decriminalize psychedelic mushrooms, becoming the second state to do so after Oregon. While advocates claim that psychedelics have proven effective in the treatment of PTSD. However, medical experts argue that more research is needed to better understand the efficacy and side effects of the substances.

However, Rodgers firmly believes in their positive properties. “The response from other people in the sports industry has been incredible. To see basketball players and baseball players and surfers, entertainers and my own teammates and colleagues across the league reach out and either share their story about their own medicine journey or ask to be a part of an upcoming one was pretty special.”

Furthermore, Rodgers also slammed his critics and detractors. “Because I guarantee you all these bums who want to come after me online about my experience and stuff, they’ve never tried it,” he added. “They’re the perfect people for it. We need to get these people taking it.”

Not Rodgers’ First Controversial Opinion

Advocating for psychedelics is far from Rodgers’ first controversial opinion. As mentioned, the veteran quarterback became one of the most prominent critics of vaccines in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Aaron Rodgers also harbors some debatable beliefs about 9/11.

According to Deshone Kizer, who backed up Rodgers in Green Bay in 2018, Rodgers is very interested in conspiracy theories. “Do you believe in 9/11?” Kizer claims Rodgers asked him during one hangout. Kizer made his claims in 2022 during an interview with Adam Breneman. This is not to say that Rodgers is an out-and-out 9/11 truther, but regardless.

Furthermore, Rodgers will make his Jets debut on September 11. The Jets are headlining a Monday Night Football matchup with the division-rival Buffalo Bills. The Bills are the team to beat in the AFC East and have won the division three years in a row. However, many pundits believe that the addition of Rodgers immediately makes the Jets a contender this year.

Mike Tyson Believes Psychedelics Would’ve Made Him A Better Fighter

Mike Tyson is a boxing legend, but even he is prone to thinking about his career what-ifs along the way. While that retrospection is usually about mentality or a specific fight, Tyson recently explained why he wanted to be tripping in his prime. Moreover, he spoke to TMZ Sports during an interview about wishing he would’ve done psychedelics back in his heyday, as he believes they would’ve made him a better fighter. “Psychedelics is an enhancement more than a de-enhancement,” he remarked. “It allows you to go in that realm of just comfortability, relaxness, and prepare to reach your highest level. It’s just an amazing feeling.”

Of course, given his passion and proximity to the cannabis industry, his interest in drugs is unsurprising. Still, that’s quite the jump from a joint to shrooms, but Mike Tyson stands by the value of both as a competitive fighter. In fact, the 56-year-old revealed that he took hallucinogens during a recent training session and said his prime would’ve been even more impressive if he was on them. Not only that, but he encouraged more athletes to start smoking bud and indulging in shrooms.

Mike Tyson Says He Would’ve Been A Better Boxer If He Was Tripping

“I’m capable of talking to everybody in the sporting world because that’s basically where it’s needed,” Mike Tyson expressed. “We always thought cannabis was a de-enhancer, made you tired, made you weak, but it actually made you more alert and more studious to your field, to your profession.” However, not everyone is going to agree with that take, and those drugs often work differently for different people. At least Mike was able to find the most positive and productive parts of the drugs. For the sake of his health, it’s also probably a good thing that he regrets not doing them instead of regretting doing them.

Meanwhile, the heavyweight is still thinking about boxing, and he recently revealed who he’s open to fight against. The answer is anyone with a bag. “When I see the money people for the end of the product, my mind works clearer,” he explained. “I can’t express myself right now financially.” Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Mike Tyson.
