Rihanna Reveals Why She’d Have More Kids With ASAP Rocky

Rihanna says that she’d be willing to have more children with ASAP Rocky after the two welcomed their second son, back in August. Speaking with Interview magazine for a new piece, she told Mel Ottenberg about her relationship with the rapper. Ottenberg, who is now the editor-in-chief of the publication, was once Rihanna’s stylist.

“We’ve known each other for a long time. I’ve seen him in relationships. He’s seen me in relationships. We’ve seen each other outside of relationships. We knew what we’re capable of, and the trouble that we could bring to each other’s lives,” Rihanna said of Rocky. “We can make or break each other’s hearts. And so, we started dating with a lot of caution.”

From there, she explained that the COVID-19 pandemic sped up their relationship. “I let god lead and just let go,” she added. “Because in previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough. So when someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.” Rihanna also admitted she’d be down for more kids: “I don’t know what god wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

Recently, the reality star took to Instagram where she offered up a pregnancy update. She is now 30 weeks pregnant, which means she is about a month and a half away from giving birth. As she explained, she has been dealing with vitamin D deficiency. Moreover, she also has melasma which is a skin condition that can be quite common when pregnant. For a while, fans were unaware of Michele’s oldest child’s father, nor did they question it. However, in early 2016, rumors began to spread about the paternity of Kniko Howard Jr. People were starting to believe that former NBA player Gilbert Arenas was the boy’s father. However, that was not the truth, and Draya Michele subsequently made that clear in a now-deleted Instagram post from February 2016.

You saw the medical papers and the ultrasounds and you were there for me on the day of my DNC. I’m grateful. I am tired. To say that you can’t believe that I was married to my husband because you think I lied about a pregnancy, a pregnancy that I bled out three times for, was hospitalized for, fought tooth and nail to keep. I had my thumbs tied on the table on the day of my DNC,” she said. “I will never experience motherhood again the natural way and that’s fine. But I had to do it. I had to do it on a heart condition. And I chose the best route for me which was I chose to terminate at 29 weeks– almost full term. If anybody wants to know, let’s just put it to rest. Let’s just put it to bed. Let’s just move on.”

The Oscars are taking place in LA tonight. Oppenheimer leads the ceremony with 13 nominations.
