Meek Mill Says Eagles Anthem Can Be Both “Dreams & Nightmares” And Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock”

Tomorrow’s highly anticipated Super Bowl is inching closer and closer. Fans are already becoming more excited about what will unfold at the big game. Of course, a hot topic amongst the hip-hop community as of late has been which song the Philadelphia Eagles will select as their anthem. Previously, Meek Mill’s “Dreams & Nightmares” was an obvious front-runner. Since Lil Uzi Vert dropped off “Just Wanna Rock,” however, the former artist has been feeling some competition.

DJ Drama is the one who sparked a massive debate between the two. He claims that the “Uptown Vibes” hitmaker made an undeniably great track. Still, the Generation Now artist’s newer song ultimately comes out on top between the two. Earlier this month, Meek shut down the label head’s comments, pointing out the longevity of his fan-favourite title’s intro. Ahead of tomorrow’s match, the rapper caught up with TMZ in Arizona, sharing more thoughts on the two songs.

While chatting with the outlet, the South Philly native suggested a more inclusive approach for the Eagles. The team should come out to “Just Wanna Rock,” showing love to LUV. When they take home the Lombardi Trophy, “Dreams & Nightmares” will blast in celebration, Mill says. The latter song has been playing inside Lincoln Financial Field for over a decade now.

Meek was previously incarcerated when his hometown team last made it to the Super Bowl in 2017. Due to this, he missed out on some major moments and is obviously looking forward to seeing a potential win play out in person this year.

While many attendees of tomorrow’s big game will be focused on the football (and which hip-hop anthem the Eagles show favour to), others are tuning in simply to watch Rihanna’s historic return to the stage. The new mother has been hard at work for the past few months, preparing what sounds like a jam-packed performance for excited fans both in the stadium and at home.

Earlier this week, the “Umbrella” songstress sat down with Apple Music to dish about her process in getting ready for the big event. Additionally, it was revealed that Rih surprisingly won’t be getting paid for her upcoming work at the Super Bowl. Read more about that here, and tell us if you’ll be tuning into tomorrow’s game in the comments below.

Drake Made His Super Bowl Pick By Placing Nearly $1 Million In Bets On One Of The Teams

We are now just days away from Super Bowl LVII, the biggest game of the NFL season that’s going down this weekend on February 12. The Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the Philadelphia Eagles for the league championship, and Drake (a frequent high-stakes gambler) has picked who he thinks is going to win… or at least which team he has put nearly $1 million in bets on.

On Instagram yesterday (February 9), Drake showed off a series of bets he made on the big game, including putting $700,000 on the Chiefs to win. HE also bet on Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to score touchdowns, and for Travis Kelce to win the game’s MVP award. In total, he placed $960,000 in bets.

Drake wrote alongside his post, “My psychotic bets for Sunday are in @stake [fingers crossed emoji] [smiling devil emoji] pls do not analyze the logic behind these bets there is none [face blowing smoke emoji].”

Believe it or not, this is actually lighter than Drake went on bets for last year’s Super Bowl: For the 2022 game, he placed $1.26 million million in wagers.

Meanwhile, he recently bet on Argentina to win the World Cup, and while they did win, Drake actually lost his bet thanks to some fine print.

Eagles Players Reveal Their Favorite Rihanna Songs Before Super Bowl

Rihanna bumps heavy on the Philadelphia Eagles playlist these days, and the team’s players recently revealed their favorite songs from her. Moreover, they include classic from both her early days and some of her more recent catalog. Of course, saying “recent” barely means anything in this convo, as her fans have begged her to drop for years. Still, that didn’t hamper excitement for her upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. As such, everyone from casual fans to die-hards and athletes alike are reminiscing on her catalog ahead of the big show.

Furthermore, the Eagles recently clinched their Super Bowl spot in a blowout win against the San Francisco 49ers. Overall, each player chose their fighter when it came to Rihanna’s catalog. Some of the picks include “What’s My Name,” “Umbrella,” “Rude Boy,” “Work,” and “FourFiveSeconds.” However, out of all the tracks, “Umbrella” is the most popular pick amongst the Eagles. Valid pick, though plenty of players also shouted out “What’s My Name.” Also, they sang some of the iconic melodies, shouting “Oh, na na, what’s my name?” and “You can stand under my umbrella (ella, ella, eh eh).”

Still, some players thought they all needed some vocal work. “That’s probably the only song they know and they sounded terrible,” an Eagle remarked. Regardless, their energy was on point, yet probably didn’t match the sheer volume with which people will scream those anthems at the show. In fact, recent reports indicate that RiRi might be bringing the spectacle on the road in a tour. Many people are calling this a “Ri-naissance,” not to be confused with the other in-demand tour by Beyoncé. “She has her North American dates ready to announce for 2023 after the Super Bowl,” a source told The Sun.

“It will be a matter of time before she announces European dates for 2024,” they continued. “[Rihanna’s] plan is to set up mini residencies in major cities rather than visit multiple places.” Do you have a favorite Rihanna song you’d sing your heart out to at her show? Let us know what it is in the comments down below. Also, as always, log back into HNHH for the latest on Rihanna, her Super Bowl halftime show, and what happens to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Eagles Fans Show Out After Team Punches Ticket To The Super Bowl

Yesterday, the Eagles made it to the Super Bowl after a win against the depleted San Francisco 49ers. Overall, it was a very bad game for the Niners as they had to rely on Josh Johnson and an injured Brock Purdy. Needless to say, their offense was nothing short of horrific.

In the end, the Eagles took the game by a score of 31-7. Although it was a bad match, the players were happy to advance. After all, playing in the Super Bowl is an opportunity that typically doesn’t come around often. Unless, of course, you are Tom Brady.

Eagles Fans Go Crazy

As is typically the case in Philadelphia, the fans were going absolutely nuts after the game. Prior to the match, police greased up the poles throughout the city so that people wouldn’t climb them. However, that didn’t help one bit as people continued to climb large structures and create havoc.

Additionally, in the footage below, you can see some people falling through a bus shelter. It is a wild scene to bare witness to, and it just goes to show how crazy Eagles fans can be. Although, you can’t blame them as seeing your team go to the Super Bowl is a truly euphoric feeling.

Subsequently, they will be going up against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Overall, this is going to be a very difficult matchup for them. However, they have the pieces to bring home the win. If they do it, this will be the second Super Bowl in five years for the Eagles.

Let us know who you believe is going to win the Super Bowl, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Jalen Hurts Recalls Leaning on His Faith to Get to Super Bowl

The Philadelphia Eagles are set for a matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs. The Eagles are led by Jalen Hurts, who spoke about his journey following the team’s 31-7 win.

“My first year here [people] probably didn’t even want [me drafted] here. It was probably one of those things. But it always handles itself,” Hurts said to ESPN. “It was a big surprise to many. My favorite [Bible] verse, I went through a lot of stuff in college and it kind of stuck with me, John 13:7: ‘You may not know now but later you’ll understand.’ Hopefully people understand.”

Hurts were drafted in 2020 as support for Carson Wentz. In 2021, Hurts led the Eagles to the playoffs but lost to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his second season as a full-time starter, Hurts is an MVP candidate and is now getting ready for the Super Bowl.

Following the Eagles’ win, Hurts took the stage and led the stadium in a performance of “Fly Eagles Fly.” You can see the moment below.

Michael B. Jordan Gives His Super Bowl Prediction

In two weeks from now, the Super Bowl will be played out in Arizona. This is going to be a fantastic game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Overall, these were the two best teams in the league all season, and they deserve this spot.

Of course, there are a lot of differing opinions on who will win this game. One of the people who got to voice their prediction was none other than Michael B. Jordan. Jordan is a big Giants fan who saw the Eagles crush his team. However, while on First Take, he got to give his early pick for who takes it all.

Michael B. Jordan Talks Super Bowl

When asked by Molly Qerim who will take the big game, Jordan was very quick to say that it would be the Chiefs. Although, it took him forever to finally settle on a score line. In the end, however, he decided that it would be a six-point game in which the Chiefs win 27-21.

Stephen A. Smith made sure to test Jordan by asking him if this pick was purely based on emotion. That’s when Jordan quipped back that he is a Sagittarius and by default is an emotional person. This had the whole panel laughing, although it’s clear that Jordan believes the Chiefs have this in the bag.

No matter what, this is shaping up to be an amazing game. These are two fantastic quarterbacks who have done some great things this year. Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes deserve this, and we cannot wait to see the outcome.

Lil Uzi Vert Walked Out With The Philadelphia Eagles To Kick Off Their Victorious NFC Championship Game

A Philly hometown hero joined the Philadelphia Eagles as they walked out into the stadium yesterday (January 29): Kicking off the NFC Championship game in which the Eagles took on the San Francisco 49ers, Lil Uzi Vert walked out with the Eagles as their hit single “Just Wanna Rock” played throughout.

Perhaps Uzi proved to be a good luck charm for the Eagles, as they ended up beating the 49ers 31 to 7. Next month, the Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LVII. That game will take place on Sunday, February 12, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The game will broadcast live on Fox at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Uzi has always held their hometown close to their heart. Last year, during an interview with Jazzy’s World, they said that without Philly, there would be no Uzi: “I was always around a very different crowd, very diverse. […] It just made me who I am today and I really took from it. If it wasn’t for Philly, I wouldn’t be Uzi.”

Check out the clips of Uzi’s NFC Championship walkout with the Eagles above.

James Harden Poses With Lil Baby, Meek Mill, & Kevin Hart As His 49ers Get Blown Out

James Harden has completely embraced Philadelphia ever since joining the 76ers. Overall, Harden has been great with the team, and as it stands, they are on a nice little run. Having said that, there are a lot of fans out there who would like to see him with the team for a long time.

Of course, as a resident of Philly, Harden has found himself in the middle of the NFL playoffs. However, he isn’t exactly too happy with the results. For instance, he was at the Eagles match yesterday which just so happened to be the NFC title game. Unfortunately for Harden, they were playing his 49ers.

James Harden Steps Out

Harden is a huge 49ers fan, and he ended up watching his team fail in epic fashion. The Eagles smacked the 49ers 31-7, and consequently, they are off to the Super Bowl. Overall, it is a huge disappointment for Harden, who took to social media, saying “can’t believe my 9ers lost, we outside though.”

In the image below, you can see that Harden was surrounded by some famous people. Lil Baby, Meek Mill are both in the photo. Additionally, some of Harden’s Sixers teammates are as well. This includes Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid, and PJ Tucker. Furthermore, Kevin Hart was also there.

For guys like Embiid and Hart, the Eagles win was the best outcome possible. They are off to the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs, and it is sure to be a phenomenal game. Only time will tell whether or not they can finish this season with the ultimate prize.
