Seth Rogen Says He’s More Successful Because He Doesn’t Have Kids

As Hollywood debates nepotism babies receiving insider benefits, Seth Rogen made it clear that he and his wife, Lauren, do not plan on having children. The couple first met in 2004 and, after a seven-year courtship, tied the knot. Their relationship isn’t just romantic; the Rogens have worked together on several projects, including Superbad. A clip of Seth’s interview on Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett has gone viral, where he speaks about how not having children has enriched his life.

It’s easy to come across parents who say that their children are the highlights of their lives. However, the Rogens purposefully decided against expanding their family. Additionally, the actor said being without kids has helped his success. “There’s a whole huge thing I’m not doing,” he stated with a laugh. “Which is raising children.”

“Some people want kids, some people don’t want kids,” said Rogen. He noted that in observing people in his life, they didn’t even think about whether or not they actually wanted kids before being confronted with parenthood. “Honestly, you just are told, ‘You go through life, you get married, you have kids. That’s what happens.’ And me and my wife, neither of us were like that.”

He added, “Honestly, the older we get, the more happy and reaffirmed we are with our choice.” Rogen and Lauren enjoy being in the “prime” of their lives, prosperous and free to do as they please. “And we can just do that, and we don’t have to have a child,” he further shared. “Which the world does not need right now. So, yeah, we’re very happy with our choice to not have kids.”

An Unproblematic Couple Who Have Lasted For Decades

Seth and Lauren Rogen aren’t the pair to go viral, but these comments put their marriage at the forefront. PEOPLE revisited an interview they did with the Rogens last month, where they spoke about the longevity of their relationship. Both noted that they don’t look to have conflict with one another, and they make it a priority to put their love and relationship first.

Rihanna On Her Son Wearing Pink & Florals: “Fluidity In Fashion Is Best”

Much like his parents, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son is well on his way to becoming a “Fashion Killa.” The young one’s mother has been designing her own Fenty products and putting together show-stopping outfits for years. His father is also a well-known style icon and has never been one to shy away from mixing women’s clothing into his wardrobe. In fact, he even once described wearing pieces intended for the opposite sex as “punk.”

At the same time, the “Rude Boy” hitmaker’s looks – although often sexy in nature – incorporate masculine pieces like graphic tees, jerseys, and baggy pants frequently. Their little one is just 9 months old. Still, they’re already passing off everything they know about looking fly to him (talk about generational wealth!). During her recent interview with British Vogue, Rih was candid about her plans for dressing her baby.

“One of my favourite outfits he has is a miniature version of one of Rocky’s,” she explained. She was referencing a tartan kilt and ripped jeans that her partner previously wore on the cover of GQ. “I like to dress him in things that don’t look like baby clothes. I like to push it.”

When purchasing pieces for the baby, Rihanna doesn’t limit herself to the typical blue colour scheme for boys. “I put him in floral stuff, I put him in hot pink, I love that,” she gushed to the outlet. “I think that fluidity in fashion is best, I always shop in the men’s department, you know.”

Since she began sharing photos of him last December, Rihanna’s little one has been the talk of the town. Of course, we still don’t know his name. However, we are certain that he’ll make an excellent big brother in just a few months’ time. At this time, the only thing fans are more desperate for than updates on her offspring is information on her next album.

The 34-year-old hasn’t blessed our ears since 2016’s ANTI – apart from her recent work on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. It remains unclear exactly what RiRi has in store for her next project, or when we’ll see it land. She previously said it would be “ridiculous” for her not to drop in 2023, however, so chances are good we’ll be satisfied before the year is up. Read more about that here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Diddy Reflects On Continuing His Bad Boy Legacy With King Combs

Diddy and his son, King Combs, discussed the legacy of Bad Boy during a new interview with Billboard. In the discussion, Diddy reflected on his son’s music career.

“I’ve been extra hard on him and really just telling him the truth that, ‘Yo, you’re my son and you have to deal with these things,’” Diddy explained. “I never picked a beat for him. I never set up a meeting for him. Then now to see him do it himself, and we’re out here doing it together, I didn’t imagine that.”

He continued: “I’m overwhelmed with joy because when he was like, 3 years old, for his birthday, he just wanted to be with his Daddy on tour. Before I would end the show he would break out in a tantrum and start crying unless he could get on the stage. So to see him chase his dream and to see all of the obstacles that he had to overcome without my help. And then him doing it, it’s just really mind-blowing. His mother has to be just so proud of him and I’m just so proud of him.”

Later in the interview, the two discussed Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018. In doing so, King Combs explained that Porter was immensely supportive of his blossoming career.

“She was my biggest fan,” he said. “‘Cause I really been working and doing music since I was like, 16. And like my pop said, from the jump he said he wasn’t gonna help me, gimme no producer help, writer help. Because he ain’t want me to have to ever lean on him and depend on that.”

Back in November, King Combs released a new single with Kodak Black, “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop.”

Additionally, Diddy dropped “Gotta Move On,” with Bryson Tiller.
