Teezo Touchdown Shares A Snippet Of New Song With Fans

Fresh off an appearance on one of the biggest rap albums of the year, Teezo Touchdown is pivoting into his own new project. He teamed up with Travis Scott for the song “MODERN JAM” from his smash new album UTOPIA and fans absolutely loved it. Travis isn’t the only major cosign that Teezo has gotten recently either. Drake praised his debut album calling it “some of the best music ever.” Now his fans, Drake included, know when they can expect more material from the eccentric rapper and singer.

Teezo Touchdown confirmed both the title of his new album and its expected release date to fans last week. How Do You Sleep At Night? will be the title of Teezo’s upcoming project. Fans will be able to hear the project in its entirety when it drops on September 8th. This week Teezo saw fit to tease fans with a snippet of a new single. The clip was picked up by ourgenerationmusic on Instagram, but was met with mixed reception. “bro reminds me of disney xd music,” remarks one of the top comments on the post. Other commentors were much more positive. “bro teezo’s vibe is so unmatched, so happy he’s getting noticed more, deserves it as much as anyone.”

Doja Cat No Longer Cares About The Backlash To Her Fashion Choices

Doja Cat has never been afraid of being a controversial artist. In recent weeks she has beefed with her fans extensively over their self-identified fan group names and also drew controversy for some of the imagery in her new music video. In a recent interview with Harper’s Baazar, she discussed how she’s become numb to the backlash. “My theory is that if someone has never met me in real life, then, subconsciously, I’m not real to them,” she explains. “So when people become engaged with someone they don’t even know on the internet, they kind of take ownership over that person.”

Doja Cat thinks that fans have an image of her they like, and that causes them to lash out when she makes any alterations. “And when that person changes drastically, there is a shock response that is almost uncontrollable.” Doja has accepted that there will always be people with issues to her changes. “I’ve accepted that that’s what happens. “So I put my wigs on and take them off. I shave my head or my eyebrows. I have all the freedom in the world.”

Pharrell Allegedly Has “Three Albums” Worth Of New Music

While Pharrell Williams has been quite busy after recently becoming the creative director for Louis Vuitton menswear. However, it seems he still makes time for his first love: music. According to a recent interview with GQ, the Virginia native has a ton of music in the vault, just waiting to be released. During the chat, Williams told reporter Noah Johnson that he had finished at least “three albums’ worth of music since arriving in Paris.” The music had all been produced at a studio and office at Louis Vuitton.

Throughout the interview, the pair also discussed how the producer is able to balance his music career and fashion. In Pharrell’s opinion, there is no need to balance because it’s “one fluid thing,” he says. “I go back and forth between music and clothes,” Williams told Johnson. “Songs and shoes, accessories and harmonies. And it’s one fluid thing.”

It’s Been Almost A Decade Since Pharrell Released A Solo Project

Rumors of new music are sure to spark enthusiasm among fans. This would be Pharrell’s first solo album since 2014’s Girl. Released in March, the project featured appearances by Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, and more. Upon its release, it peaked at No.1 on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 591,000 copies worldwide. The album has also been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Among its most successful singles was “Happy” from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, which was nominated for an Academy Award.

Pharrell was named Men’s Head Designer at Louis Vuitton in February, a position that used to be held by Virgil Abloh. He debuted his first collection at Paris Fashion Week this June. The Neptunes hitmaker admits he was initially concerned about his appointment and expected Nigo, his longtime friend and collaborator who now heads LVMH’s Kenzo brand, to take over. “He’s my hero, he’s my brother, and he’s the general,” Pharrell said. “I’ve been championing him for a minute. And whenever me and Alexandre talk about LV, we would always just talk about different people. I’ve always been in the background, just advising. I never thought that it would be me.”

Latto Shares Some Delicious Looking Food Pics From The Studio

When rappers give fans a glimpse into how they work on music they often provide a peek at some of their more unique elements. For Latto, that apparently means eating delicious food. She posted some pictures of her together with Davido in the studio but they were cooking up more food than music. She fittingly captioned the posts “Let me cook.” Another element of the photos that got people’s attention is the fact that she isn’t wearing much makeup in them.

“ion think anybody’s bare face compares. period,” reads the top comment on the post. “She ain’t never needed makeup” agrees another commentor. Other fans pointed out that in one hilarious pick Latto appears to be rapping into a microphone while holding food in her hand. “Not rapping with the plate. Hope that means the heat is coming,” one comment reads. Davido himself popped up in the comments and that got fans even more excited about the prospect of the two collaborating.

Latto Eating In The Studio In New Pics

So far in 2023, Latto is the only rapper to hit number one on the Hot 100. Her collaboration with K-Pop star Junk Kook “Seven” spent its first week at the top spot. Even though the song isn’t predominately rap, it made her the first rapper to reach that spot this year. Lil Durk and Drake have both previously peaked at number two with their songs “All My Life” and “Search & Rescue” respectively.

Latto might be under fire from Coi Leray soon in response to a bar she wrote earlier this year. On her hit song “Put It On Da Floor Again” she spits a bar about Coi Leray. Coi interpreted it as an attack on her body image and made a few public statements about her issues with the line. In a song she previewed during a recent TikTok, Coi seemed to respond with shots taken back at Latto. What do you think of Latto sharing pics of her eating from the studio? Let us know in the comment section below.

Mike Will Made It Teams Up With J. Cole, Cooks Up Beat For Lil Uzi Vert Collab

Mike Will Made it recently hopped on Instagram, revealing a new clip of himself working alongside J. Cole. In the clip, the duo is seen working together to create a new beat. “As rare as a Blood Moon,” he captioned the clip, “new music Friday.” The beat matches one that Lil Uzi Vert just recently shared, getting fans pumped about what’s to come.

Earlier this week, a clip surfaced of Uzi performing with the beat. Fans initially suspected that it was a track from their upcoming album, Barter 16. Though it had already been speculated that Mike Will Made It produced it, it wasn’t confirmed until now. Though some commenters are disappointed that the song doesn’t actually appear to be part of Uzi’s new project, fans can’t wait to hear “Blood Moon” either way.

“Blood Moon” Set To Arrive On August 18

The song is listed as Mike Will Made It’s track featuring Lil Uzi Vert. It’s unclear where J. Cole comes into all of this, or whether or not listeners can expect a collab from him and Uzi sometime in the future. Fans are also flooding the comments section with demands for a J. Cole and Mike Will Do It collab. Earlier this year, the producer shared some photos of the two of them in the studio, and fans have been waiting ever since. Though it’s uncertain whether or not J, Cole will be rapping on one of his tracks, it’s exciting that he’s at least confirmed to have been a part of the production.

Those disappointed that the new project isn’t from Barter 16 shouldn’t have to wait too much longer for it, either. Earlier this week, some screenshots of DMs surfaced, in which one of Uzi’s friends promises that they’re dropping it sometime next week. They were also recently spotted jamming out to a different song snippet with Young Thug’s sister, Dolly White. Stay tuned to HNHH for more updates on Mike Will Made It, J Cole, and Lil Uzi Vert.
