Lil Durk Accused Of Rapping About 2022 “Revenge” Shooting In New Indictment

Last month, Lil Durk was arrested in Florida for alleged murder-for-hire conspiracy. The Chicago rapper was taken into custody just hours after five alleged OTF affiliates were arrested. Authorities believe these five individuals were allegedly paid to carry out the murder of Quando Rondo as retaliation for King Von’s 2020 death. In 2022, Quando Rondo and his cousin Lul Pab were shot at while at a gas station in L.A. Quando Rondo was able to walk away unscathed while Lul Pab succumbed to his injuries.

According to Billboard, prosecutors unveiled a new indictment today, which includes two additional charges against Durk. These charges are another murder-for-hire count and a firearms count. The indictment also accuses Lil Durk of rapping about the 2022 shooting that claimed the life of Lul Pab.

“Following the attempted murder of [Rondo] and the murder of [Lul Pab], defendant Banks sought to commercialize [Lul Pab]’s death by rapping about his revenge on [Rondo],” prosecutors allege. They also allege that Durk’s song “Wonderful Wayne & Jackie Boy” includes a direct reference to a news clip filmed shortly after Lul Pab’s passing. In it, Quando Rondo can be heard shouting “No, no!” upon seeing what had happened.

“Told me they got an addy (go, go)/ Got location (go, go)/ Green light (go, go, go, go, go),” Durk raps in the song. “Look on the news and see your son/ You screamin’, ‘No, no’ (pu**y).” What do you think of prosecutors citing Lil Durk’s song lyrics in a new indictment? Casanova Hit With Stabbing Charge, Takes Aim At The Justice System

Earlier this week, Casanova took to social media to vent about his frustrations with the justice system. The performer is currently in prison for his alleged ties to what prosecutors call “a vicious street gang.” According to him, he’s recently been hit with a stabbing charge on top of his existing federal charges.

“Early christmas gift they just charge me for a stabbing in NJ,” he told fans in an Instagram Story yesterday. “YOU CANT EVEN DEFEND YOUR SELF THEY JUST WANT YOU TO LAYDOWN AND DIE/ back to court on Friday.” Clearly, the Haitian-American rapper is fed up with all of his legal trouble. He was sentenced to 15 years back in July, despite renouncing his ties to the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods in a letter to the judge. The letter reportedly caused some trouble for him behind bars, and he’s since formally appealed his sentence.

Casanova Reacts To His Latest Charge

At the beginning of this month, the judge dismissed his motion for early release, arguing that his sentence was already on the low end. According to the judge, he’s also yet to prove that he’s not a danger to his community. Aside from his RICO charges, Casanova is also spending time in prison for allegedly attacking a woman in a diner in 2018. He’s accused of violently grabbing her phone from her and deleting a video of himself after he caught her filming.

Last month, two of Casanova’s co-defendants were convicted of racketeering and more. The men, Dwight “Dick Wolf” Reid and Christopher “Beagle” Erskine, are accused of being leaders within the gang. Erskine was allegedly a “street leader” while Reid was allegedly the “gang’s founder and prison leader.” They’re both now eligible for life sentences. What do you think of Casanova getting hit with a charge related to a New Jersey stabbing? What about his reaction to the charge? YNW Melly Faces Six New Charges Related To Alleged Witness Tampering: Details

YNW Melly has been under the microscope of the law for years at this point. Overall, he has been in custody for about five years at this point. Of course, this stems from his alleged involvement in the murders of YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. His associate, YNW Bortlen, will be taking the stand in a separate trial. Meanwhile, another man named Terrence Mathis is also involved, as he allegedly helped Melly contact Bortlen from inside prison, for nefarious reasons.

Those nefarious reasons in question have been reported on extensively as of late. As you may remember, Bortlen was arrested on witness tampering charges, after a home raid. Moreover, Melly was quickly hit with a witness tampering accusation as well. With this taking place right before the start of jury selection for the second trial, there is no doubt that Melly’s defense team has their work cut out for them. Now, that is especially true as according to NBC6 News, six new charges have been added to Melly’s case.

YNW Melly Trial Continues

As you can see in reporting from journalist Bryson “Boom” Paul, an information sheet was given to the court that details many of these charges. Overall, this is a huge development, especially since a new prosecutor has entered the fold. Kristine Bradley is out, and Alixandra Buckelew is in. Buckelew previously helped put away four men for the murder of XXXTentacion. Simply put, she has a lot of experience, and the prosecution believes her addition to the team could put them over the edge for a conviction.

This is still very much a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always seek to keep you informed.
