Bronny James Couldn’t Care Less About Playing With LeBron

Bronny James’ road to the NBA is going to be a hard-on, but he is more than ready for the challenge. After a lackluster freshman season at USC, which was turbulent for a number of reasons, including his health scare that kept him off the court initially. He fell down draft boards and is not currently in the top 60 prospects. Bronny was cleared to participate in the NBA draft combine and has started to turn some heads with his athleticism and shooting ability. After a successful first couple of days at the combine, Bronny was asked about playing with his dad, LeBron James, and the young hooper could really care less.

Bronny aims to be chosen in the 2024 NBA draft, following in his father’s giant footsteps. LeBron has repeatedly expressed his desire to play with his son before he retires. He will begin his 22nd NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers next season. The Lakers and other teams are intrigued by the prospect of acquiring Bronny if that means also aquiring King James. Despite his father’s dream, Bronny just wants to accomplish his own dream of playing in the NBA. He could care less about it if it was with his dad.

Bronny James Is Focused On His Dream Not His Lebrons

After going into cardiac arrest in 2023, Bronny James’ only goal is to achieve his dream of playing in the NBA. “I would be happy about getting to the league instead of me thinking about playing with my dad. That’s not my mindset at all,” Bronny said. He spoke about his dad speaking on the possibility of playing together as well. he continued, “My dream has always just been to put my name out, make a name for myself and, of course, get to the NBA. I never thought about playing with my dad. But of course, he’s brought it up a couple times.” Bronny also urged teams to evaluate and draft him on his ability not the fact that it could mean LeBron will play for their franchise.

Participating in the combine was the first step, and his performance was incredibly encouraging. Bronny showed the attributes that would make him a good NBA player. His shooting ability drills were some of the best in the combine. He performed well in the scrimmages so far as well. overall, bronny just wants to make it to the league. All the extra stuff is for his dad to worry about.

Kendrick Perkins Goes In On Defensive Player Of The Year Rudy Gobert

The Minnesota Timberwolves have just lost two straight games to the Denver Nuggets. The Timberwolves got out to an incredible 2-0 lead, winning both games in Denver. But the Champs responded like champs and dismantled the Wolves in Minnesota to even the series. ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins had some strong words for the Timberwolves big man Rudy Gobert. Perk went in on the Defensive Player of the Year, blaming the Timberwolves’ losses on the Frenchmen.

After the last game, Perkins sent out a tweet about Rudy Gobert. he wrote in the tweet,”I just don’t understand how Gobert go from DPOY to a defensive liability. I mean damn!” The Denver Nuggets MVP Nikola Jokic had his way with Gobert. To Be fair, no one can stop Jokic. The game plan for Nikola was to go at Rudy Gobert as much as possible, and it clearly worked. Perkins is confounded as to why Gobert is overmatched when he is supposed to be the best defensive player in the league.

Kendrick Perkins Says Gobert Needs To Step Up

Perkins said Gobert needs to step up as the DPOY. Perk asserted, “Isn’t Rudy Gobert the DPOY? Why is it all the time he’s the DPOY in the regular season but he’s a defensive liability come playoff time?” The stats don’t really back up Rudy being the root of the problem. When Gobert is playing in the playoffs, the Wolves are +15.9 points per 100 possessions; when he is not, they are -4.9. That means that they are a better team overall when he is on the court. Perk is going off the eye test, and it doesn’t look good when Jokic is toying with the DPOY. No one can “stop” Jokic, even Rudy.

Tonight is a crucial game for both teams. The Timberwolves, having lost two straight, need to win this one, or it is very unlikely that they win two in a row. Despite the Timberwolves dropping two straight losses, the series has been very entertaining. Denver really responded like Champions. Jokic has reminded everyone why he is a three-time MVP. Overall, tonight is going to be some high-stakes hoops that everyone should tune in to watch.

Jusuf Nurkić Responds to Draymond Green’s Subtle Shade

The rivalry between Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors and Jusuf Nurkić of the Phoenix Suns is far from over. On Monday night on Inside The NBA, Green made a comment that may be seen as some slight shade towards Nurkić, saying the Suns “have no big man.” Nurkić responded on social media on Tuesday and clowned Draymond. Nurk says Draymond “Still” needs some help and that Kevin Durant doesn’t like Green. The beef will probably continue into next season, so it’s good to familiarize yourself with why the two don’t mess with each other.

Though their history may have preceded it, Green’s blow to Nurkić’s face during Phoenix’s 119-116 victory against Golden State on December 12 appears to be the leading cause of their ill will. When the game was finished, Green expressed regret over the situation. Nurkić was not amenable to any reconciliation when he told reporters, “I feel like that brother needs help.” Draymond probably knew he was going to get a hefty suspension. The forward probably was trying to cool the situation down, but no one was having it. In their next meeting, they got into another problem. This time, things got heated between them. They have since traded shots on social media.

Jusuf Nurkić and Draymond Green Still Hate Eachother

After an incident with Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić on December 12, the NBA gave him an indefinite suspension. As a result, he was unable to play in Golden State’s next 12 games. They had another altercation after Green returned to the Warriors. This prompted Nurkić to state that Green “didn’t learn anything” during his suspension and remained the same. Additionally, Green has been calling Nurkić a “300 pound softy” ever since, and Nurkić has responded in kind.

Nurkić is not in the best of moods to be talking badly about other people right now. The Suns were easily eliminated in the opening round. The embarrassing loss sparked much ridicule and talk about how severely they’ve screwed up team dynamics. At the end of the day, Nurkić is a role player, and Draymond is an NBA champion. Green gets leeway where others aren’t sure, but the big guy should let this beef go since he doesn’t really have the accolades or prestige to back it up.

Shaq’s Ex-Wife Shaunie Henderson Responds To Backlash over Marriage Comments

Last week, Shaq’s ex-wife, Shaunie Henderson, released her book and did an interview about it. She received some backlash for things she said about Shaq in her book. In the book, Shaunie said that she questioned whether or not she was truly ever in love with Shaq. Additionally, Shaq responded with a self-deprecating response on Instagram. Now, she is responding to the criticism she has received for something she says was taken out of context.

Shaunie Henderson was upset when a line from her new book “UNDEFEATED: Changing the Rules and Winning on My Own Terms” went viral, criticizing Shaquille O’Neal. In the book, she shared her perspective, describing Shaquille as unreliable and a repeat cheater. She wrote, “Looking back, I don’t know that I was ever really in love with the man, but I was in love with the idea of being married to the man I had a family with.” She continued, “I was in love with the idea of building a life together. I truly did enjoy spending time with him.” All in all, she is now clarifying that the quotes were taken out of context. Additionally, she says the response to them was not fair.

Shaunie Henderson Responds to Criticism

Shaq responded to the quotes on social media. The big man said, “I understand… I wouldn’t have been in love with me either. Wishing you all the best. All love, Shaq.” Now, in an interview with People Magazine, Shaunie says the quote was taken way out of context. She said in the interview, “I’m not a word girl. I’m a character girl, and since I’ve left the marriage of Shaquille, my character has spoken for itself.”

Shaunie goes on to explain further, saying, “When you love somebody, you love somebody, but to be in love with somebody is a different feeling, and I will be honest, I didn’t realize that until I found the love of my life right now and I’m in this marriage. I’m like, oh my gosh. It’s a different feeling.” Shaunie adds she doesn’t know why Shaq would run with the out-of-context passage on social media regarding Shaq. Overall, Shaunie Henderson stands by her comments and feelings.

LeBron James Gets Huge Ovation And Tribute In Return To Cleveland

LeBron James last played for the Cleveland Cavaliers six seasons ago, and Cavs fans have not forgotten. James, along with his wife Savannah and agent Rich Paul, arrived courtside in Cleveland for Monday’s Game 4 between the Cavaliers and Celtics, in which Boston prevailed, 109–102. LeBron is in offseason mode after being eliminated from the playoffs by the Denver Nuggets. An early break saw the Cavaliers welcome James with a video board homage. Then, he was introduced by the Cavs public address announcer as though he had never departed. As if he was still a part of the squad, the fans responded with thunderous applause.

James is a hometown hero who spent two stints with the Cavaliers and brought the team its first and only title in 2016. He was greeted with standing ovations from the time he walked in from fans all throughout the arena. James responded graciously to the love, blowing a kiss back to the crowd while acknowledging the tribute. LeBron’s future is still up in the air this offseason. There were rumors King James could go back home to Clevland to finish out his career. This might be a sign that that is a real possibility.

LeBron James Welcomed Back To Clevland

With LeBron James having the opportunity to opt out of his Lakers contract coming up in the offseason, rumors will be fueled by Monday’s love fest during Game 4. Since departing the team for the second time in 2018, James has not been to a Cavaliers game. James still has a residence close to his hometown of Akron. One of the most anticipated questions of the approaching summer is where James ends up, whether he stays with the Lakers or moves elsewhere.

LeBron has always expressed his desire to play with his son in the NBA. With Bronny now medically cleared and participating in the draft combine, teams might be more willing to take a flyer on him if it also means acquiring LeBron. Cleveland could play a significant trump card and draft Bronny, or the Lakers could snatch him up to make sure LeBron stays. Overall, LeBron’s situation is one to look out for.

Bronny James Put On A Show At The NBA Combine

This year’s NBA draft combine feels a little different from previous iterations. The NBA combine usually doesn’t feature many top players participating in drills or scrimmages, but the draft class has no consensus on top guys. This makes sit a more competitive event for the prospects looking to boost their stock or get drafted, period. Bronny James is one of the guys trying to boost his stock. After a lackluster season at USC, he declared for the draft. Mock drafts left him off completely. Bronny has made the decision to stay in the draft and participated in the combine yesterday, and the NBA hopeful showed out.

Bronny James seized the opportunity at the Combine to display the multitude of talents and attributes that have marked him as an NBA prospect. With the green light from the league’s medical panel, James was determined to prove his NBA readiness. His performance was nothing short of impressive, with standout measurements, physical tests, and dynamite shooting that left many in awe. In essence, Bronny is successfully fulfilling his mission, demonstrating to teams that he is indeed an NBA player.

Bronny James Shoots The Lights Out At NBA Combine

The Combine offered an opportunity to provide organizations with fresh information to evaluate and take into consideration ahead of the Draft season, following a difficult year at USC when he had many valid reasons for his struggles. In the shooting drills, Bronny James achieved just that. He demonstrated his NBA-caliber shot-making ability, hitting 19 out of 25 in the star shooting drill, which was one of the best performances at the Combine. It will be interesting to see how he does in the upcoming scrimmages, which might boost his stock even more.

Bronny showed that he can be a 3&D NBA player. He is someone who can stretch the floor and play defense with his significant physical gifts. Suppose he can show that in the combine scrimmages, then he may shock the world and get drafted. Even if he doesn’t get drafted, teams will likely take a flyer on him and sign him to a two-way contract. Overall, the first day of the combine was the most promising day of basketball for Bronny since high school.

Nick Wright Claps Back At Reggie Miller After Throwing Shade At LeBron James

Nick Wright has taken issue with Reggie Miller’s remarks about LeBron James during a recent game commentary. Miller, a former NBA player turned commentator, sparked a heated debate during the Nuggets-Timberwolves Game 4 on TNT. While discussing the game and the performance of Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, Miller’s comments took a turn toward LeBron James. In a clip aired during the first quarter of the playoff match, Edwards took responsibility for the Timberwolves’ loss in Game 3. Miller commended Edwards for his maturity, but his subsequent remarks about LeBron James stirred controversy.

Reggie said during the broadcast, “There are certain players that have veteran status that are on people’s Mt. Rushmore that are quick to deflect and blame.” He didn’t name names, but it’s easy to see he was taking a swipe at LeBron James. The comments divided fans on the subject. Nick Wright has been waiting all weekend to unload on Miller for his remarks. The Fox Sports analyst called out Reggie today, and he did not hold back.

Nick Wright Calls Out Reggie Miller

Fans weren’t unaffected by Miller’s comment, and many quickly weighed in on social media to express their opinions. Reactions were mixed, with some praising Miller’s audacity and others denouncing him as a bigot. Now Nick Wright is firing back at the disrespect. Wright first called Reggie Miller “owning MSG,” which is complete fiction, citing his winning percentage and wins against the Knicks. He said Reggie and his friends have made up a narrative about his career that simply was never true. He then turns his eyes to his comments against LeBron.

Wright then implies Reggie didn’t even have the courage to name names and urges other sports personalities to ask. He said the comments were unfair and cowardly. He says if Reiggie ever gets pressed about who he was talking about, he would probably fold. Nick Wright is an entertaining voice on sports media and a known LeBron defender. He brings up a lot of points about what is ultimately a case of really hating for no reason. Will Reggie Miller stand on business and admit he threw shade at Lebron? Ultimately, the answer is probably no.

Bill Simmons Hints On Podcast That NBC’s NBA Deal Is Confirmed

NBC has caused quite a stir with their bid to secure NBA rights for the next season. The Deal would push TNT out of the NBA business. The NBA hasn’t formally confirmed which network prevailed in the bidding war to broadcast league games. Based on Bill Simmons’ comments, it appears that NBC has emerged victorious. Additionally, this means that Inside the NBA is set to come to an end. Turner Sports had to match or exceed NBC’s offer. Now, NBA fans are already mourning the iconic late-night basketball show. If the news is true, fans are going to miss watching Shaq, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson together.

TNT’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, had to dig deep, shelling out $2.8 billion to win the bidding war over NBC. Additionally, NBC was reportedly prepared to pay $2.5 billion for the NBA broadcasting rights. During the most recent episode of “The Bill Simmons Podcast,” the media personality hinted that NBC has come out on top. Overall, while there could be an Inside the NBA on NBC, it’s clear that it will not be the same, leaving fans to wonder about the future of their beloved show.

Bill Simmons Says NBC’s NBA Bid Has Won Over TNT

Bill Simmons, a trusted NBA insider, asserts that for two weeks the deal has been done. He says, “One of the funniest things ever is that we’re all pretending the TV deal wasn’t done like a week-and-a-half ago.” He continued, “I think it’s done. I think Warner already lost it. I don’t know why we’re waiting til after the playoffs. Maybe that’s how they have to do it, but it’s a wrap. NBC’s getting it.” Unfortunately for Inside the NBA fans, Simmons’ track record suggests that he might be spot on with his assessment.

NBA fans should probably savor these next few weeks of the playoffs. Inside the NBA has become an iconic fixture in basketball. The chemistry between everyone is special, and other networks like ESPN have been trying to replicate it unsuccessfully for a decade. Furthermore, even if it comes back on NBC, it won’t be the same. The show was able to go to places other sports shows couldn’t because it operated more like a late-night talk show. Overall, if the news is true, it will be a sad day for NBA fans. Ultimately, it will be the end of an era when Inside the NBA isn’t on TV anymore.

Lebron James Could Play Up To 2 More Seasons To Match His Jersey Number

It is starting to sound like LeBron James’s illustrious career is coming to an end soon. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar’s future is up in the air. NBA insiders are indicating the timetable for the end of LeBron James’ career. Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium revealed a probable schedule for James’ ultimate retirement during an interview on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday. The reporter states that two more years for Lebron is the expectation around the league.

Lebron and the Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers have plenty of decisions to make this offseason. They have already fired their coach, Darvin Ham, and are searching for their next top guy. THey are planning a roster overhaul to boost their championship chances next season. They also have to decide on Lebron’s future. The Lakers want to keep the 39-year-old star, but his future isn’t concrete. LeBron is reportedly going to play for two more seasons to match his jersey number, then call it a career.

LeBron James To Play 1-2 More Seasons

Shams has been consistent in his reporting on LeBron James’s career timetable. Back in April, he also said the idea was for LeBron to play 1-2 more seasons. The 2025/26 season will be his 23rd year in the NBA, which would match his jersey number. Additionally, the All-Star game will be in Los Angeles, which will be the perfect send-off for Lebron. This is also good for the Lakers, who are keen to keep Lebron in purple and gold. If this plan is implemented, then it will be a perfect situation for all parties involved. Shams is adamant that LeBron’s timetable mentally is 2 years max.

The reporter also stated that his family will be a big factor in Lebron’s decision to retire in 2-years. He says that even though LeBron might physically be able to perform at a high level, the sacrifice his family has made for his entire career is weighing heavily on his decision. Expect LeBron to be all about his business and family after he retires. Overall, Lebron is still playing like a superstar. The Lakers will look to do everything they can to bring another star in this offseason. It should continue to be an interesting offseason for the Lakers.

Stephen A. Smith Says Kevin Durant Is Unhappy In Phoenix

Stephen A. Smith said today on First Take that Suns superstar Kevin Durant is unhappy in Phoenix. After getting swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Phoenix Suns have now fired their head coach Frank Vogel. They have now hired NBA title-winning coach Mike Budenholzer, who was fired by Miluwalkeue after getting eliminated from the first round of the playoffs two seasons ago. The Suns have a ton of question marks, including the future of its star players, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. Stephen A. Smith calls the Durant situation a “problem” for the franchise.

“All of us covering the NBA are fully aware of Kevin Durant in Phoenix is a problem. It is a problem. We don’t see it because the stats are there. Him and Booker average 27 points per game and what have you. But they say Kevin Durant is never happy,” said Smith on First Take. Stephen A believes the situation may come to a head sooner rather than later. Kevin Durant is an aging superstar, and his future in Phoenix is looking to be on shaky ground, according to folks around the league.

Stephen A. Says Durant “Is A Problem” For Phoenix

Stephen A. Smith went into detail on the things he has heard surrounding Kevin Durant, saying, “They say that he went more than a month without even talking to the head coach. They say that he doesn’t look happy there and all he wants to do is play when the game starts and tip-off time arrives, but when it comes to ingratiating yourself with your teammates and getting along with everybody and stuff like that, he just lives in his own world.” He goes on to explain that he keeps to himself and he isn’t hated, but his loner attitude rubs people the wrong way.

Stephen A Smith explains why his personality is rubbing people the wrong way, saying, “Why does that matter? It’s similar to what he was doing in Golden State before he ultimately departed, which is what was driving Draymond Green crazy, which is why they ultimately got into it on the court in that Clippers game and what have you. Because you hear stuff. You hear stuff.” He went on to conclude his KD statements, saying, “There’s more than that. Make no mistake, it’s not all on Kevin Durant. But that’s a big, big part of it.” Overall, Stephen A. is reporting what he has heard about KD and how it might impact their decisions this off-season.
