Hip-Hop Ensemble NAME Releases Debut Music Video "Can't Say Love Enough"

Acclaimed creative professionals Mazzie “Grand Agent” Casher, Larry “Mr. Cisum” Fowler, and Ozzie “Old Man” Jones, who formed the Hip-Hop ensemble NAME in 1994, are excited to announce the release of their first-ever music video, “Can’t Say Love Enough,” on July 5, 2024. This long-anticipated debut aims to unify the City of Brotherly Love in time for America’s 250th birthday and the World Cup in 2026.

Casher, Executive Director of PHILLY TRUCE, has been instrumental in reducing violence in Philadelphia through community engagement and education. Before co-founding PHILLY TRUCE in 2020, Casher established himself as Grand Agent, a rapper praised for his lyrical skills. Larry Fowler, a Barrymore Award-winning sound designer and music producer, has been a prominent figure in the Philadelphia theater scene for over two decades, collaborating with renowned theaters and serving as a board member for Azuka Theater. Ozzie Jones, also a Barrymore Award winner, is a celebrated director and playwright known for his significant contributions to the Philadelphia arts community.

The trio’s dedication to social change complements their artistic endeavors, bringing a unique perspective to this project. “Can’t Say Love Enough” infuses the iconic “Lift Every Voice and Sing” with the soulful vibes of Philly International session players and powerful beats, creating an infectious anthem. The music video captures the essence of Philadelphia’s often overlooked unity and positivity. Generating buzz already, the song is under consideration to become an official anthem of Philadelphia, as the city prepares for significant events in 2026.

“We are thrilled to finally share ‘Can’t Say Love Enough with the world,” said Casher. “This project has been a labor of love for us, and we hope it resonates with everyone who sees and hears it.”

Drake Honors Son Adonis With Tattoo Of His Name On Back Of His Neck

There was once a time when Drake declared that he wasn’t hiding the kid from the world; he was hiding the world from his kid. However, after the drama around Adonis’ reveal amid the Pusha T diss died down, the Canadian superstar clearly grew a lot as a parent. At least publicly, since we hope that he had already grown as a father during that time. Nevertheless, the two share a very wholesome and heart-warming relationship in the eyes of the media, going to NBA games together and the like. Now, the 6 God took his love for Adonis to another level: making sure he displays it everywhere he goes.

Furthermore, Drake tattooed Adonis’ name on the back of his neck, and fans spotted him with recently. Pictures of the new ink surfaced around Monday (August 7), and it heartened fans while not coming as much of a surprise. After all, according to Pop Sugar‘s last count back in May, the 36-year-old has at least over 55 tattoos. In addition, this isn’t a particularly new instance, as he already has a portrait of his five-year-old on his back.

Drake’s New Adonis Ink

Of course, a tattoo can’t replace the feeling of having your son with you. That being said, hopefully this new body art means that the OVO mogul feels at least a little bit closer to Adonis when they’re apart. That’s not to say that they don’t see each other often, though, because Drake always makes sure to document special times together. Most recently, he posted a picture of his son with his mother, Sophie Brusseaux, for Mother’s Day. Also, he paid tribute to his mother, Sandi Graham, and commemorated some family love.

Meanwhile, Adonis has probably accompanied his father to a tour stop or two. We can only guess at how much fun that must be, albeit how hectic being the son of one of the biggest artists in the world must be. In any case, Drizzy is his son’s biggest fan along with Sophie, and you’ll never see him from behind and not see that. For more news and the latest updates on Drake, stay posted on HNHH.

Jeezy Says Lil Wayne & B.G. Inspired His Name Choice

Jeezy says that Lil Wayne and B.G. both inspired his choice of “Jeezy” as his rap name. He explained that the two going by Weezy and B. Geezy respectively gave him the idea while speaking with Elliott Wilson and B. Dot for Rap Radar.

“You know they [the Hot Boys] had B.G. and they called him B. Geezy,” he explained. “Wayne, they called him Weezy. And it was like a thing going on at the time, and people used to kinda call me that back in day, because my voice was so raspy in school. So I was like, ‘Yo, I’m just gon’ go with this.”

He continued: “Lil J was what my grandmother called me. That was the only nickname I really had in the neighborhood. And all my homies used to call me, ‘Dog.’ I don’t know where that came from. And then down in Lauderdale, ’cause I was down Lauderdale hustling, they used to call me, ‘Bling’ because I used to be the guy coming down with the diamonds and cars, and this is what they knew me by. So that was my street name.”

Jeezy’s interview with Rap Radar comes as he continues to promote his upcoming book, Adversity for Sale: Ya Gotta Believe. The memoir will see Jeezy reflect on how he beat the odds during his career and provide readers with candid lessons from his life to motivate his fans. It’s due for release on August 8.

Jeezy Reflects On Lil Wayne’s Influence With Elliott Wilson

“This is for all my day ones and everybody that’s been down with me since the beginning,” he wrote in an announcement on Instagram, earlier this year. “This is the greatest story never told. In this motivational memoir, I use parts of my life story, every step, every mishap, every up and down that I’ve gone through to get to this point in my life to motivate the hustlers, entrepreneurs, and believers.”

Moneybagg Yo Gets Ari Fletcher’s Name Tattooed

Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher are always showing each other love online, whether in ways big or small. However, the Memphis MC’s latest cosmetic choice brought about a big upgrade in their relationship: commemorating it with some ink. Moreover, Moneybagg recently got a tattoo of his boo’s name, “Ariana,” on the left side of the back of his neck. It’s pretty subtle, but definitely noticeable, and it surely didn’t feel as potent or vivid as the love that he has for her. In fact, many people would agree that that’s the best type of tat: something simple, elegant, and meaningful.

Furthermore, it certainly stacks up against some of the other displays of lovey-dovey affection that the two have graced social media with. Of course, some of that can be lewd, but love takes many different forms, all worth celebrating within reason. For example, one of Moneybagg Yo’s recent photo dumps on Instagram featured Ari Fletcher tanning naked, and he put it out there quite unabashedly. That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to that, but surely you’ve already heard of some of the wilder instances.

The couple also shows each other a lot of wholesome appreciation, though, and they definitely go all out for each other. Also, we can’t forget that the two defend each other from online trolls all the time, never missing a beat when it comes to backing each other up. Recently, Ari Fletcher combated a Twitter troll that thought her pink heart-shaped diamond ring from Moneybagg Yo wasn’t all that. Once you spend that big of a bag on someone, you’ve got to make sure you get its money’s worth, and Twitter trolls aren’t part of that equation.

Meanwhile, we’ll see if Fletcher returns the favor and gets “Bread Gang” tatted on her anytime soon. In any case, it’s always heartening to see them be happy together, if only because so much relationship news tends to lean scandalous and drama-fueled. They don’t have that issue (most of the time), because they have other people to turn their ire to: haters. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher.

Juice WRLD’s Name Removed From The Kid LAROI Collab Cover Art, LAROI Responds

Fans noticed that an updated cover art for a 2020 collab between The Kid LAROI and Juice WRLD removed the late artist’s name from it. Moreover, a new cover artwork for their song “Reminds Me Of You” surfaced online on Sunday (March 26). When fans noticed that the “Bandit” rapper’s name no longer appeared on the rendition, they expressed outrage and confusion on social media. What’s more is that LAROI responded to uproar concerning this mysterious change by tweeting out a message. From what the “Stay” hitmaker said, this change came from the label and he wasn’t aware of the decision.

“I had NOTHING to do with this & had no idea it was even a thing until now,” he tweeted on Sunday afternoon. “I’ve hit the label and asked them to change it back. I’m sorry & genuinely have no clue why [they changed it] without my permission. I would never approve of that. EVER,” he stated in an additional tweet replying to fans. Furthermore, the two were incredibly close, with the Chicago icon mentoring LAROI and often collaborating on hit tracks.

The Kid LAROI Addresses Juice WRLD’s Name Being Removed From Collab Cover Art

“I would observe a lot of the s**t he was doing,” the Australia native said in an Our Generation Music interview. “Just being around him, I’ve always been a quiet person depending on who I’m around, but I don’t like to speak a lot, especially when I could be observing something great. So I was just observing a lot of the stuff he did. People always think he gave me a f***ing rule book on how to record, but it was really just me observing. The stuff that he told me out of his mouth was just personal s**t and life s**t and how to navigate feelings and stuff like that.

“That was my big brother,” the 19-year-old remarked to HNHH during an interview. “I learned a whole lot from him; I’m super-duper inspired by him, if you couldn’t tell. I don’t know, to me, he is really the greatest. There’s not a lot of people, I think, that can do what he did, and especially in such a short amount of time. You know, he was so young, like, f***in’ 19 when he broke onto the scene or whatever. I don’t know, I don’t understand anybody that could freestyle like that or could even accomplish what he accomplished in that short amount of time — it’s insane.” Check back in with HNHH for the latest on The Kid LAROI and Juice WRLD.

Sean Paul Says He’s Not Actually Saying His Name On His Songs

Sean Paul has revealed that he’s not actually saying his own name in his music, as commonly believed. Instead, Paul says that he sings “Chanderpaul,” referencing a famous cricket player named Shivnarine Chanderpaul.

“There’s a famous cricketer in Trinidad [named] Shivnarine Chanderpaul. Everybody was like, ‘Sean da Paul,’ and that name stuck,” Paul explained in a new documentary for Vice.

He continued: “Then I just started to say it in shows and met the dude Chanderpaul years later, and he’s like, ‘Yo!’ But yeah, big up to Shivnarine Chanderpaul.”

The Vice documentary is centered around the making Paul’s making of his 2003 hit “Get Busy.” The track topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks during its peak. It is featured on his second studio album, Dutty Rock.

“If u didnt kno ~ now you kno: big up #Chanderpaul,” Paul wrote on Twitter in response to a clip posted from the film. A fan had shared the video after theorizing that Paul was actually saying “Chanderpaul” years earlier.

Elsewhere in the documentary, Paul discusses still living in Jamaica. Paul was born in Kingston back in 1973.

“A lot of people ask me why I still live here,” he said. “These people made me. They built me into what I am today.”

The documentary comes after Paul performed at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. For his first appearance at the annual event, he performed alongside fellow Jamaican artist Ziggy Marley.

“Thanksgiving in NYC is always a Vibe!!! Honored to be apart of @macys Parade representing for dancehall and Jamaica,” Paul captioned a video from the event on Instagram afterward.
