Since 2021, Adele and wealthy sports agent Rich Paul have been a couple. Paul is the father of three children, and Adele’s son, eleven-year-old Angelo, is from her first marriage to Simon Konecki. The singer, who is infamously private, interrupted her residency act in Las Vegas to extend her congratulations to Rich’s daughter. As her stepdaughter Reonna graduated from Clark Atlanta University, she expressed her gratitude. “It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend. Her name is Reonna,” Adele told the crowd. After the congratulations, she went on to say she is more than open to having children with Rich Paul.
She dropped the news during her Weekends with Adele performance at Caesars Palace this past weekend. Adele shocked everyone by revealing that she was planning to expand her family with Rich. The couple allegedly secretly married last year. Adele has made it clear that after she is done with her obligations, she wants to have a child with Rich Paul as soon as possible.
Adele is dead set on having a baby with Rich Paul who she has been rumoured to have been married to. “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world. That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?” Adele told the crowd. “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?” She fanatically concluded.
Rich Paul has spoken out about wanting more kids in the past telling E! News, “I was a very young dad, but now, different age, different time in my life, different position in my life.” He continued “I’m really looking forward other being an older dad.” it seems like both Rich Paul and Adele are on the same page. We will probably be welcoming annew member in the Rich Paupl-Adele clan in the near future.
On a seemingly routine Tuesday evening in Atlanta, a music video shoot, reportedly for Lil Baby, took a harrowing turn. Out of nowhere, gunfire erupted, leaving three men injured. While Lil Baby was unhurt, production came to a sudden halt. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. near a commercial strip on Verbena Street in northwest Atlanta. It has also sparked an ongoing investigation by the Atlanta Police Department. Here’s what we know.
The Incident Unfolds
According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded swiftly to reports of shots fired at the video shoot location. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men with gunshot wounds: a 24-year-old hit in the arm and a 27-year-old struck in the back. Both victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where they were reported to be alert, conscious, and breathing. A third victim, a 23-year-old man, had already self-transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck. He, too, was alert and receiving medical attention.
Chaos Caught On Camera
The shooting at Lil Baby’s music video occurred in broad daylight. In footage obtained by TMZ, the chaotic scene unfolds clearly. The video captures the moment people on set began setting up filming equipment, only to be interrupted by gunshots. Immediately, the camera shakes violently as the cameraman ducks for cover. Altogether, there was an intense panic and confusion that took over the scene.
Lil Baby himself has not issued a public statement regarding the shooting incident. However, his presence at the shoot was confirmed by local business Slapping Tacos ATL. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Slapping Tacos ATL shared a video showing the rapper arriving with his entourage. The caption read: “Pull up we inside / @offthehookcrabs / 2179 Verbena / Atlanta,30314.” An hour later, the shop posted that they had closed up following the shooting. Expressing their dismay, a spokesperson for the shop stated: “These little hoodlums came and ruined my day! Lil Baby was about to buy all the food.”
As aforementioned, Lil Baby is confirmed to be safe and uninjured following the shooting. In fact, he’s still on the grind. Baby was last spotted over the weekend in London shooting a music video with Central Cee. Earlier in March, the duo recorded new music at Miami’s House of Hits studio.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, the preliminary investigation suggests that the shooting occurred during the video shoot. However, the exact circumstances remain unclear. Speaking to FOX 5 Atlanta, Major Ralph Woolfolk of the Atlanta Police Department clarified that the victims of the shooting were not part of the production team. It is important to note, though, that they may have been connected to the broader group involved in the shoot. Therefore, suspicions are still present.
Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit are also actively working to piece together what happened. As of now, no arrests have been made, and it remains uncertain how many suspects were involved. As the investigation continues, the Atlanta Police Department urges anyone with information about the incident to come forward. The community’s cooperation could be crucial in identifying the perpetrators and preventing future violence.

The two were both present at Hangout Festival over the weekend where they caught up backstage. A short video of the pair is now making the rounds online as fans react to the unexpected crossover. Even more hilarious is that in the video they both seemingly instinctively show off their twerking skills while dancing together. “when the teacher pairs you with a random partner but y’all end up kii’ing anyways” one fan on Twitter jokes. “I’m crying, Lana just living her life, hanging out with EVERYBODY. This isn’t the only time recently that Lana Del Rey has crossed paths with a surprising rapper. Earlier this month she and former Migos rapper Quavo were spotted together. After kicking off the rollout for his new project with the assertive single, “Knocka,” earlier this month, YG has announced the project’s release date. It’s called Just Re’d Up 3 and it’s due in July. YG shared a preview of its cover art, which will apparently follow the theme of its predecessors. For now, it’s just a white field, but on the previous iterations of the cover art, the Compton rapper has posed with cash (the first), and a brand-new car (the second). What’ll his latest acquisition be?
The original Just Re’d Up mixtape was released on May 2, 2011, by Pushaz Ink; it was YG’s third mixtape and featured one of his early viral hits, “B*tches Ain’t Sh*t.” Two years later, YG followed up with Just Re’d Up 2, which featured appearances from fellow West Coast underground artists like Dom Kennedy, Nipsey Hussle, RJmrLA, TeeFlii, and Ty Dolla $ign, in addition to national stars like Jeezy, Juicy J, and Wiz Khalifa.
Just Re’d Up 3 will be either YG’s seventh studio album or tenth mixtape, depending on how he chooses to market the new project, and his first solo project since 2022’s I Got Issues, which held his hit single, “Scared Money” featuring J. Rapsody has announced the tour dates in promotion of her new album, Please Don’t Cry. She’ll be traveling across North America and Europe to promote the album and says she’s currently working on adding stops in South Africa as well. She made the announcement on Instagram, on Monday.

Of working with Wayne, Rapsody labeled him one of the “GOATs” during a conversation with HipHopDX, last week. “I just wanna say what I say and make it fun,” she said. “But then, he sent his verse, and I was like, ‘I gotta match the level of artistry.’ Like, it’s Wayne! And I ain’t scared to say it, because he’s one of the GOATs. It is what it is. A lot of artists won’t say it. Along with Tom Brady, Jay-Z has been speaking with NFL rookies on managing high-level business and professional sports. Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Malik Nabers were among the NFL rookies that Hov and the former New England Patriots quarterback met with over the weekend for an “invaluable” sit-down that was arranged by Fanatics founder Michael Rubin. “Breakfast with Jay and Tom & $500k but seriously awesome morning with @tombrady @jayz and our @fanatics NFL rookies discussing sports and business!” Rubin said on Instagram with photos from the encounter.
The sitdown was documented by Rubin who shared his appreciation for Brady and Jay-Z doing it. Rubin also said, “Tommy and Jay thank you so much for the invaluable advice and knowledge you shared – this was such an incredible opportunity for these rooks before they take their first snap. Big things ahead for this group – can’t wait to watch you all crush it on and off the field!” Business partner and buddy of Rubin, Meek Mill, continued, saying, “I had that million dollar convo with Jigga in that same house i pray it works lol.”
Later, Rubin shared recordings from the gathering that included JAY-Z and Brady’s invaluable advice. “Your talent gets you there; your work ethic and discipline take you to where you want to be,” Beyonce’s husband told the rookies. He continued, “You gotta know who you are ’cause those moments are gonna come. You’re gonna be down 28-0 and you gotta say, ‘Aright, I know who I am. I’ma go get it.’” Tom Brady added in the clip “You’re gonna evolve or you’re not. You’re gonna keep evolving or you’re not. And if you’re not, the world still spins. Altogether, the quality of the music he has put out within the past year has earned him a spot on this list.
Bryson Tiller
Bryson Tiller took the world by storm in 2015 when he released his beloved debut album, TRAPSOUL. Since then, he has won three BET awards, and soon, he might bag another victory. If he wins the award for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, it would be his second in the category. Further, the singer dropped his eponymous fourth studio album in April 2024. The project is among the best R&B releases of the year so far. With this in mind, it’s no surprise Bryson Tiller has been nominated in this category at the 2024 BET Awards.
Burna Boy
Widely known as the African Giant, Burna Boy is at the forefront of the Afrobeats movement. The artist has been on an unstoppable roll for a while now and shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. He has won three BET awards in the past, and in 2024, he might add to his list of wins. Although he was nominated in this category in 2023, he lost to Usher and Chris Brown. This year, he faces both artists again and has a chance of taking the win this time. The work he is being recognized for is I Told Them, his seventh studio album.
Chris Brown
While there may not be any clear favorites this year, Chris Brown is certainly the biggest threat on this list. With seven wins out of 16 nominations in this category alone, he is the most-awarded artist in this category. At the 2024 BET Awards, he might extend his record even further. Over the past year, he released and contributed to several quality records, so there is no question as to why he is being recognized. Alongside Usher, Brown is currently holding this award.
The 6 God has been one of the most relevant artists in the industry for a while. Since his debut, Drake has not let up, dropping undeniable hits year in and year out. In 2024, he released his eighth studio album, For All the Dogs. The project contains several hits, including “Rich Baby Daddy,” “First Person Shooter,” and “Slime You Out,” among others. Drake has received nominations from the BET Awards every year from 2010 till 2024. Altogether, he has won 17 BET awards, but none in this category. Fridayy
With his distinct baritone and eclectic blend of R&B and Hip Hop, Fridayy has won the hearts of many. The singer released his eponymous debut album on August 25, 2023. The 14-track project has helped announce him as one of the most exciting new R&B acts. It has also earned him his first BET nomination at the 2024 awards ceremony. Evidently, Fridayy has a bright future, and fans are eager to witness his rise.
October London
The second of two first-time nominees on this list, October London is a very promising R&B act. The 37-year-old singer signed to Snoop Dogg’s Death Row Records has been releasing music since 2022. However, it was his third studio album, The Rebirth of Marvin, that put him under the spotlight. He is nominated in two categories at the 2024 BET Awards and may very well win his first major award this year.
Usher
Another R&B veteran, Usher, has been nominated in this category 11 times and won four of those nods. Behind Chris Brown, he is the second most nominated act in this category and has the second most wins. Following his Super Bowl Halftime performance, Usher released his ninth studio album, Coming Home, on February 9, 2024. The 20-track album reminds listeners why the singer is regarded by many as R&B’s champion. At the 2024 BET Awards ceremony, he has the chance to inch closer to Chris Brown’s record seven wins. Award night promises to be very entertaining indeed.
After a video purportedly showing Sean “Diddy” Combs physically abusing singer Cassie Ventura surfaced, LeBron James unfollowed Diddy on Instagram. This new information adds to the plethora of scandals surrounding Diddy, who is involved in several legal disputes. The video went viral on social media, and the backlash has been swift. Diddy apologized on his Instagram account after the video caught fire on Twitter. The reported video took place in a hotel almost eight years ago. The shocking video showed Diddy repeatedly kicking Cassie while running her down in nothing but a bath towel.
An LA Lakers fan page initially noticed the unfollowing, which sparked a flood of responses online. Many supporters applauded Klutch Sports, LeBron’s agency, viewing the decision as a protest against Diddy’s behavior. While some praised LeBron for adopting a moral stand, others saw it as a calculated PR move. Whether LeBron chose to unfollow Diddy on his own or got advice from Klutch Sports, his fans overwhelmingly think it was a wise decision. Overall, it’s a big deal that LeBron has unfollowed Diddy, and it probably took too long for him to pull the trigger.

The media has given considerable attention to the accusations made against Diddy. After Cassie Ventura filed her first complaint, several additional people came out with similar charges against the music mogul. In the video, he is seen running after a 29-year-old Ventura down the hallway of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City while she tries to enter an elevator. He is naked and has a towel wrapped around his waist. He then grabs Ventura by the hair and throws her to the ground.
Though unrelated to the current federal investigation, the video is still making waves. For James, this was the last straw regarding his unusual reluctance to break his distance from Diddy. LeBron has been involved with Diddy on a social level, just like a lot of famous people have been. Overall, it is probably overdue for the LeBrons team to have unfollowed Diddy, who has been involved with several legal disputes that just do not look good to be associated with.
The entire hip-hop world has been reacting to Diddy’s newest controversy. Over the weekend CNN leaked a video allegedly showing an assault he was accused of last year. The allegation came in a lawsuit filed against Diddy by Cassie. Though the lawsuit was settled quickly, the newly unearthed video presented a much more revelatory lens on what actually went down between the pair. The video has tons of rap fans and many within the rap community itself sharing their reactions, including Lil Scrappy.
In a long and profanity-laced new video, Scrappy relentlessly attacks Diddy. He wasn’t afraid to use strong language to condemn Diddy’s actions. “That was some real b*tch sh*t. You can tell he was doing that sh*t for a long time,” he says at one point in the video. At a different moment he also physically threatens Diddy claiming that the new video makes him want to start a fight with the rap mogul. In the comments some fans agree with him, but many are quick to point out Scrappy’s own history. “Scrappy should be the last person talking” one comment says. Lil Scrappy is hardly the only one to level harsh condemnation of Diddy’s actions following the release of the new video. Aubrey O’Day has been one of the rap mogul’s most vocal critics in the past few months and she unsurprisingly commented once again. In her new post she called out the fact that Diddy denied all of the allegations against him until he no longer could. She and Charlamagne The God have both made the claim that this invalidates his attempted apology.

Cardi B’s recent comments on Joe Biden and Donald Trump were the subject of debate during the latest episode of CNN’s State of the Union show. The rapper told Rolling Stone that she doesn’t plan on voting for either candidate in the upcoming election because she doesn’t feel comfortable supporting a candidate who is actively funding the violence in Palestine.
“The famous rapper, Cardi B… she endorsed Biden in 2020. Now she told Rolling Stone magazine she doesn’t ‘f’ with either of them,” Jake Tapper said. Bakari Sellers added: “I don’t think the biggest threat to Joe Biden is Donald Trump. I think the biggest threat to Joe Biden is people staying at home. Cardi B actually echoes that sentiment.”

Cardi has discussed her issues with Biden on multiple occasions in recent weeks. “When it comes to Biden, I can’t support you because you’re funding a war,” she said during a live stream on social media, as caught by Complex. “You’re funding a war where millions are getting killed. And you know who’s getting killed? This is not a war that is soldiers fighting soldiers. Because if it’s soldiers fighting soldiers, alright, that’s a war, that’s a battle. But there’s children and parents getting killed. I am a parent, I would hate to be a child and to see my father or mother get killed due to a bomb. I can’t support that, I just can’t. My heart can’t. I can’t support that.” She added: “But I’m not going to feel guilty three years from now, two years from now, when one of these old hags is our president and some f*ck sh*t happen. I don’t wanna feel guilty that I’m part of the pick.”
Despite the stance, she says she’s not trying to discourage people from voting. “I’m not encouraging anybody to not vote.
