Latto Previews Upcoming Single And Fans Are Loving It

Latto has been shaking up the hip-hop world ever since she stepped foot in the genre a few years ago. Furthermore, when you have a widespread fan base and have the hits under your belt like she does, fans are going to want more. The Columbus-born femcee did provide quite a bit of solid material in 2023. She was a part of some major collaborations with artists like Mike WiLL Made-It, Swae Lee, Jung Kook, Young Nudy, Sexyy Red, Jay Rock, and so many more.

The team-up with Jung on “Seven” became the fastest song to reach one billion streams ever. It took just three and half months to pass that mark, making it a truly remarkable feat. In terms of solo material, Latto delivered “Put It On Da Floor” and its sequel with Cardi B and “ISSA PARTY” featuring BabyDrill. It will be tough to top all of that success, but Latto is looking to go for it all in 2024.

Rob was just one of 10 people injured on the set of French Montana‘s music video. The shooting took place outside The Licking restaurant in Miami Gardens, which is reportedly co-owned by DJ Khaled. C.E.D. Mogul was also present at the time of the shooting but made it out unscathed. He recounted the incident to FOX8 afterward. “[He asked to] call his mother and see if we can get spare car keys and make sure, you know, he’s OK, and then the gunshots went off,” Mogul told the outlet, before adding, “At least 13, 14, 15 gunshots. It was very rapid, it sounded like an assault rifle.”

French Montana shared a statement in the wake of the attack. “Last night, I was in Miami celebrating the release of my CB6 mixtape w/ friends at a local restaurant,” he wrote on Twitter. “We unfortunately were at the wrong place, at the wrong time when an incident took place that left people hurt. Our thoughts & prayers are w/ the victims & families at this time.” In the days after the shooting, one of the victims threatened Montana with legal action. The man’s attorney, Josiah Graham, claimed that “there was no permit issued by the Miami Gardens Police Department for any type of authorized rap video.”
