Megan Fox And Machine Gun Kelly Drink Each Other’s Blood, But Not In A ‘Game Of Thrones’ Kind Of Way

Most engagement announcements are, let’s face it, pretty corny, but Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly aren’t most couples. In early 2022, the Jennifer’s Body actress shared the happy news that she and the “emo girl” singer are getting married with a post on Instagram that ended with, “And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood.”

Fox was asked about the Billy and Angelina-like blood drinking in a recent interview with Glamour UK. “Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood,” she said while laughing. “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.” It’s medicinal blood.

Fox continued:

“I’m much more controlled. I read tarot cards and I’m into astrology and I’m doing all these metaphysical practices and meditations. And I do rituals on new moons and full moons, and all these things. And so, when I do it, it’s a passage or it is used for a reason. And it is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.’ He’s much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he’s willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, ‘Take my soul.’ … Let me tell you. Maybe not exactly like that, but a version of that has happened many times.”

What are the odds that track one on Machine Gun Kelly’s next album is called “Take My Soul” followed by track two “I Am Weed”? I say pretty high. Anyway, mazel tov to the blood-drinking couple. May your wedding feast be provided by the finest Dothraki chefs.

DaBaby Responds To A Resurfaced Video Of His Walmart Shooting: ‘The Media Got They Ass Brainwashed’

A recently resurfaced 2018 video of DaBaby in an altercation with a fan named Jaylin Craig and his friend Henry Douglas has left fans divided. Over the years, the “Rockstar” rapper has maintained that he was acting in self-defense, but a recent report by Rolling Stone has left fans divided.

The video shows DaBaby allegedly instigating the fight that turned deadly, throwing the first punch and lunging into Douglas. While a lot have said that the video counters his self-defense claim, some have argued that local authorities have already had already seen the video and would have appropriately charged DaBaby if his self-defense claim wasn’t credible.

On Monday, Hot 97 and Beats 1 host Ebro Darden wrote on Twitter, “Why are people acting like the 2018 video of Da Baby’s Walmart incident wasn’t already seen by Walmart, The Police and the courts?”

DaBaby replied, “Cuz the media got they ass brainwashed.”

Last year, following a homophobic rant on stage at Rolling Loud Miami, DaBaby lost slots at several following concerts and events, including Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. Surprisingly, the resurfacing of the 2018 video hasn’t yet resulted in lost performance slots, including this year’s Beale Street Music Festival and a return to Rolling Loud Miami this year.

Pooh Shiesty Confronts His Gun Charge In His New ‘Gone MIA’ Video

Last month, hitmaker Pooh Shiesty, responsible for the viral track “Back In Blood,” found out that he’ll be serving 63 months — a little over five years — in prison. He was indicted on four firearms charges in relation to a shooting incident that occurred in October 2020 at the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. Williams later pled guilty to the charges after accepting a plea deal from prosecutors that reduced a possible life sentence to just 97 months in prison — a little over eight years in prison. So he has been expressing optimism and gratitude for the fact that he won’t be serving a longer sentence.

Today, the rapper released a music video for his song “Gone MIA” from Shiesty Season. It kicks off by immediately referencing the incident with a news broadcast about it. “Police say they are searching tonight for a rapper named Lontrell Williams,” the news broadcaster says. “They say he fled the scene in a green McClaren sports car.” The rest of the video watches him smoke and show off that green McClaren sports car.

Pharrell’s Something In The Water Festival Returns In 2022 With Lil Baby, Chloe x Halle, And More

Pharrell Williams‘ Something In The Water festival will relocate from his hometown Virginia Beach, Virginia to Washington DC this June. This year will mark the second iteration of the festival, following its inaugural festival in 2019.

The festival takes place along Independence Avenue in DC on June 17-19, coinciding with Juneteenth. On the lineup is an eclectic selection of acts, including Lil Baby, Pusha T, Chloe x Halle, Tyler The Creator, Run The Jewels, Omar Apollo, Snoh Allegra, Ozuna, Dave Matthews Band, and more.

Williams opted not to return to Virginia Beach last year, due to “toxic energy” from the city’s mayor and local government. The fallout is a result of inaction following the shooting of Williams’ cousin, Donovon Lynch, by Virginia Beach police.

Williams said in a statement:

“Something in the Water is a Black solution (LOVE) for a systemic issue, and this year we are taking our celebration to a higher platform—the nation’s Capital during Juneteenth Weekend. We want to show the world that there is Something in the Water across the whole DMV and I want to continue to bring awareness to the greatness within these communities and invite large corporations to show up for the people. DC has always been a deep inspiration to me as a person and a musician. It is the land where Go-Go Music was birthed which has provided so much for our people. Our sponsors continue to go the extra mile to show that Something in the Water is so much more than a festival. The goodwill we generate is a defining trait of who we are. We will always have the hottest artists, but to pair that energy with these brands showing up for the community is what makes this festival a vehicle for change.”

General on-sale for the festival begins this Saturday, April 30. Past festival-goers will have access to an exclusive pre-sale beginning Wednesday. Virginia residents will have access to a “Virginia Locals Only” presale taking place Friday, April 29 beginning at 10 a.m. ET through 5 p.m. ET.

“If you’re celebrating music, if you’re celebrating Black excellence, if you’re drawing attention to the people who have dedicated their lives to knocking down barriers and uplifting our communities — then there is no better place to do that than in Washington, DC,” said Mayor Muriel Bowser in a statement “We are proud to be working with Pharrell to bring Something In The Water to DC for Juneteenth weekend. DC is open and we are ready to celebrate.”

Tyga Was Attacked With A Knife By Blac Chyna, According To Kylie Jenner

Pop media followers are likely familiar with all the drama the Kardashian family gets up to, but today, one member of the family revealed just how wild things have gotten when the cameras aren’t rolling. The tale in question includes two unofficial family members, rappers Blac Chyna and Tyga, who dated Rob Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, respectively, in 2016. Now, Chyna is suing the Kardashians for $100 million in damages for emailing E! network executives about Chyna’s relationship with Rob and possibly having the couple’s planned spin-off show axed, costing Chyna potential profits.

While the family denies putting Rob & Chyna on the chopping block, they admit to contacting the network about the relationship, which they described as “toxic.” Now that the trial has begun, they’re talking about just how toxic it got. Kylie Jenner, who testified today, explained why the family was so concerned, describing Blac Chyna as violent toward not only Rob but other members of the family as well — including Tyga, who she’d previously dated. Jenner said that Tyga showed her a six-inch scar on his arm, which he said was caused by a knife attack by Chyna, with whom he shares a child.

It isn’t the first time Chyna was accused of erratic behavior. In December 2021, she was accused of holding a woman hostage at her hotel in Sacramento, while a viral video of Chyna yelling at airport travelers to get vaccinated was also attributed to drugs.

Bhad Bhabie Didn’t Really Make $52 Million From OnlyFans — But It’s Pretty Damn Close

When social media star turned rapper Bhabie Bhabie bragged that she’s earned over $50 million from OnlyFans since starting her account a little over a year ago, there were plenty of people who expressed doubt online. The 19-year-old, who basically lives on social media, has since responded to her skeptics, posting receipts on Instagram that show that while her net income from the site is less than $50 million figure, it’s not far off — and her gross profits are indeed well over it before OnlyFans takes its cut.

Of course, those figures are pretty much in line with the totals that she boasted when she started the account in April 2021, just days after her 18th birthday. She said that in the first six hours, she’d accumulated over $750,000 in subscriptions and $250,000 from message payments, giving her $1,000,000 on her first day. While that kind of earning was likely unsustainable long-term, a year later, she’s made a little under a million a week, proving that whatever people say about her, plenty of them are willing to pay to follow her antics.

Even if they weren’t, she has plenty of other revenue streams besides OnlyFans and music, including her investments in a dating app alongside her mentor Lil Yachty. Bhad Bhabie may still be a controversial figure six years after her viral moment on Dr. Phil, but no one can say she hasn’t made the most of her humble, meme-ready beginnings.

Bad Bunny Will Play A Wrestling Superhero In ‘El Muerto,’ A New ‘Spider-Man’ Spinoff Movie

Bad Bunny is one of the planet’s most successful musicians; He was Spotify’s most-streamed artist worldwide in both 2020 and 2021. He’s also proven himself to be quite the multi-hyphenate by building up his IMDb page with roles in movies like F9 and Bullet Train. Now he’s preparing for his biggest acting opportunity yet: Yesterday, Sony announced El Muerto, a Spider-Man spinoff movie starring Bad Bunny as the titular character, IGN reports.

The movie was introduced by Sony Motion Picture Group president Sanford Panitch at CinemaCon and it’s set to be released in theaters on January 12, 2024. This role will make Bad Bunny Marvel’s first live-action Latino lead.

IGN describes the El Muerto character, “In the comics, El Muerto is a super-powered wrestler who has had their mask and abilities passed down through the generations. To become worthy, new wrestlers would need to prove themselves against El Dorado. Juan-Carlos Estrada Sanchez was one of these chosen descendants, but he was unable to fight El Dorado when his father Marcus Estrada presented him. As a result, Marcus sacrificed himself to save his son. Following the tragic death, El Dorado would give Juan-Carlos ten years to become stronger to face him again and earn the right to become El Muerto.”

Deadline notes of the character’s connection to Spider-Man, “The character of El Muerto, aka Juan Carlos, was a super powered wrestler who originally fought Spider-Man in a charity wrestling match in which he nearly unmasked the webslinger before being stung by Spider-Man with a paralyzing poison. After his oppressor El Dorado came to claim his life, he was saved by Spider-Man, after which the two team up to defeat Dorado.”

The role seems to be a perfect fit for Bad Bunny, given how involved he’s been with the WWE lately.

The Weeknd’s HBO Series ‘The Idol’ Will Undergo An Overhaul As It Heads In A ‘New Creative Direction’

Last summer, a little over a year after he released his chart-topping fourth album After Hours, it was announced that The Weeknd would star in an upcoming HBO series called The Idol. The show would also be co-written and co-executive produced with Reza Fahim Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, with all three being listed as co-creators of the series. The Idol was revealed to be about a female pop singer who falls in love with an L.A. club owner who also leads a secret cult. While some were looking forward to the series’ release, they’ll have to wait a bit longer thanks to an announcement from HBO.

According to Variety, The Idol will undergo an overhaul due to the decision to head in a “new creative direction.” HBO shared a statement with the publication where it expanded on the new decision. “The Idol’s creative team continues to build, refine, and evolve their vision for the show and they have aligned on a new creative direction,” HBO said. “The production will be adjusting its cast and crew accordingly to best serve this new approach to the series. We look forward to sharing more information soon.”

HBO did not reveal what sparked the decision to head in a new creative direction.

The announcement comes after The Weeknd teamed up with Kaytranada for a new remix of “Out Of Time.”
