Bhad Bhabie Threatens To Sue Airbnb For Letting Her Sign Up But Not Rent On Its Service

Over the past couple of years, the property rental app Airbnb has crossed paths with increasing frequency as rappers have used the service to rent properties for music videos (violating policy in the process), generate a little extra money (Blueface rented out his mansion in 2020), and generally caused mayhem, whether directly or indirectly (as in the case of the house whose floor collapsed due to an exuberant reaction to Young Nudy’s “EA”). However, one rapper is currently having issues with the company that she wants to escalate to legal action.

Bhad Bhabie says she wants to sue Airbnb because she can sign up for the app but as an 18-year-old, isn’t allowed to actually rent a room or home using the service. Posting on Instagram Stories, she wrote, “F*ck @airbnb y’all are weird asf not renting to me Bc I’m 18. FYI I’ve never thrown a party in my life believe it or not. Y’all will b hearing from my lawyer b*tches.” She elaborated on her issue in a second slide, “Why am I able to sign up then??? And before y’all trolls get into a tizzy I use it for travel.”

Instagram/TMZ

However, she has since deleted both slides according to TMZ, perhaps after coming to the realization that Airbnb’s policy was formed to comply with various state and federal regulations, not arbitrarily. The policy reads “in some locations, people under age 25 with fewer than 3 positive reviews can’t book entire home listings within their local areas” but “can still book nearby private rooms and hotel rooms. Outside the local area, they can book any type of listing.”

While it would probably be slightly more convenient for Bhad Bhabie to be able to book out-of-town rentals for travel herself, it seems she is just having her manager do it instead. The only thing we can say is, “Just wait.” Those seven years go by a lot quicker than you think. See above for the screenshots.

Lizzo Displayed Her Impressive Vocal Range With A Rendtion Of Ariana Grande’s ‘No Tears Left To Cry’

Ariana Grande recently marked the three-year anniversary of her hit album Sweetener with a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos of the LP’s recording process. But she wasn’t the only one celebrating. Lizzo busted out a rendition of Grande’s “No Tears Left To Cry” on the album’s anniversary, although she said she doesn’t quite relate to the song’s title.

On Tuesday, Lizzo hopped on an Instagram Live session to connect with her fans after kicking off her new era of music last week. She suddenly broke out into a brief cover of “No Tears Left To Cry,” showing off her impressive vocal range. Cutting the cover short, Lizzo said the song’s lyrics aren’t exactly true for her. “Actually, I do have some tears left to cry, b*tch,” she said. “Let me get on this Live and start crying again.”

Of course, the tears Lizzo is joking about refers to when she got vulnerable with fans on Live last week. The singer apparently received some hateful comments following the release of her “Rumors” video, and the trolls were getting to her. “For the most part, it doesn’t hurt my feelings. I don’t care,” she told her fans while trying to hold back tears. “I just think when I’m working this hard, my tolerance gets lower, my patience is lower, I’m more sensitive and it gets to me.”

Rod Wave Enjoys The Fruits Of His Success In The Intimate ‘Time Heals’ Video

I don’t know what rappers’ preoccupation with putting private jets in their videos lately is all about, but it’s a phenomenon that has infiltrated seemingly every major rapper’s catalog over the past year or so. Rod Wave‘s “Time Heals” is no exception, as the Florida-born rapper-singer’s latest clip sees him celebrating the fruits of his recent success with shots from behind-the-scenes tour footage, snippets of his grill-fitting and tattoo sessions, and of course, the obligatory “I’m boarding a private jet” shots.

He has reason to celebrate. Earlier this year, his third album SoulFly became his first to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums charts behind the singles “Tombstone” and “Street Runner,” as well as his inclusion in the 2020 XXL Freshman class after his first two albums became viral favorites. This Friday, he’ll look to extend SoulFly‘s success with the release of a deluxe version, the origin of his latest single.

In addition to his own album, Rod Wave has appeared on a few notable features this year — namely, “Heart Of A Giant” from Polo G’s third album Hall Of Fame and “Rich Off Pain” from Lil Baby and Lil Durk’s collaborative project The Voice Of The Heroes.

SoulFly deluxe is due 8/20 on Alamo.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Heads Downtown To Assist Sheff G And Sleepy Hallow On ‘Run It Up’

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie‘s successful rap run precedes the rise of the (mostly) Brooklyn-based drill movement by a couple of years, but that isn’t stopping the Bronx native from making the trek downtown to assist his fellow New York rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow on their menacingly melodic new single “Run It Up.”

The beat splits the difference between the acoustic guitar-laden, almost R&B-ish production favored by A Boogie and the sparse, off-kilter drum patterns employed by drill stars Sheff and Sleepy, giving both boroughs’ representatives plenty to work with as they brag about the travails of street fame and relationships.

Sleepy and Sheff, who have frequently collaborated over the past few years they’ve been active, are just two of the rising stars working to fill the void left behind by the death of Pop Smoke in 2021. While Sleepy just released his debut album Still Sleep? on Empire in June, Sheff is a year removed from his own debut One And Only, and appears to be preparing for his next release. A Boogie, meanwhile, has been building on his prior success with multiple cross-borough collabs this year, including another Brooklyn linkup with Rowdy Rebel for “9 Bridge” and an appearance on Nas’ King’s Disease sequel.

Bruno Mars And Anderson .Paak Have Delayed Their Silk Sonic Album To 2022 For A Specific Reason

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have taken their time introducing Silk Sonic to the world: After releasing their hit debut single “Leave The Door Open” in March, it took nearly five months for them to drop their next one, “Skate.” Now, they’re putting their patience on display once more: The duo’s debut album, An Evening With Silk Sonic, was initially set for a fall release, but now it’s being pushed back to January 2022.

They made this reveal in a new Rolling Stone feature. The piece notes that the duo decided they wanted to release more songs before the album so each one could “breathe a bit,” with Mars saying, “I don’t want to be binge-watched.”

He also explained where he and .Paak are at with the album at the moment, saying, “We’re really in touch-up mode now. We’ve got the bones of most of the album, so it’s really about touching up parts that need a little more… grease.” .Paak added, “Which could mean redoing the song from scratch!”

With a laugh, Mars continued, “Being here for another three years! But no. We’re not there. We were there. We had some moments in the danger zone! I think we put the pressure on ourselves by putting out ‘Leave The Door Open’ — but a deadline is important, because at some point, you gotta say, ‘This is it.’ Otherwise you’re gonna work it ’til you hate it. But there’s a beauty in that — you do have to get sick of it, because that means you put the love and the time and the passion in it, and it’s taxing. That bridge [on ‘Leave The Door Open’] almost broke the band up. But it wasn’t right, and we all felt it.”

Kanye West Is Rumored To Be Hosting Yet Another ‘Donda’ Listening Event, This Time In Chicago

So far, the best way to hear Kanye West’s album Donda is to attend one of his stadium listening parties for it, as the album hasn’t actually been released yet (despite what some billboards indicate). Well, another one of those is reportedly coming up, as rumors indicate, but instead of Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, he’s heading to Chicago.

As NME notes, somebody who claims to work on the security staff at the city’s Soldier Field (where the NFL’s Chicago Bears play their home games) indicated that a “major concert event” is taking place there on August 26. They believe the event in question is a Donda listening event, writing on Twitter, “I work for security at soldier field and we recently had an event added under ‘major concert event’ and I’m very confident that it’s for Kanye’s listening party. If it’s true, then Kanye will be performing in Chicago at soldier field on the 26th.” The tweet includes screenshots of what appears to be an app related to the person’s security work.

Additionally, minutes before that tweet, Fake Shore Drive‘s Andrew Barber also hinted at the Chicago event on Twitter.

Neither West nor anybody from his team have offered any public comment on the rumors, so it remains to be seen if the August 26 event is a real thing.

Facebook Reportedly Came To The Defense Of Lizzo And Deleted Hateful Comments That Were Left On Her Page

This past weekend was supposed to be a celebratory one for Lizzo, as she just returned with her first single in almost two years: “Rumors,” with Cardi B. But it was rudely interrupted by trolls, who appeared on her social media pages with hateful comments. The posts pushed the singer to tears and she hopped on Instagram Live to share her thoughts. “For the most part, it doesn’t hurt my feelings. I don’t care,” she said during the livestream. “I just think when I’m working this hard, my tolerance gets lower, my patience is lower, I’m more sensitive and it gets to me.”

Now one social media platform is stepping up to defend her. According to TMZ, Facebook is coming to the defense of the singer by deleting a number of the hateful comments that were posted on her page. Furthermore, the platform is taking the extra step to delete the accounts of multiple trolls. They added that the platform will review additional reports of hateful comments on a continuous basis.

The news comes after Cardi defended Lizzo on Twitter after watching a clip of her Instagram Livestream. “When you stand up for yourself they claim your problematic & sensitive,” the rapper wrote. “When you don’t they tear you apart until you crying like this. Whether you skinny, big, plastic, they going to always try to put their insecurities on you.” She added, “Remember these are nerds looking at the popular table.”

A Bizarre ‘Donda’ Theory Has Emerged, And People Have Plenty Of Thoughts About It

It’s still clear when Kanye West’s tenth album Donda will arrive. It was first announced last summer, and though Kanye played new music, presumably from it, during a July listening session in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, it still hasn’t been released. At this point, all fans can do is fantasize about what it is. That’s what one person, who unveiled a bizarre theory about Kanye’s tenth album, did.

The fan shared their thoughts on the project to a subreddit page under the title “[Theory] Kanye Wants To Make The First Official Unreleased Album.” The user believes Kanye’s “concept with donda is an album that has materialized itself into existence without being officially released.” They add that the songs on Donda will play on the radio, the album will be reviewed as the rapper “wants everyone to pretend and act like it’s out” — but no one will ever be able to buy it.

To conclude, they point to the mask Kanye has worn over the past month to promote Donda as well as the fact that the album currently has a completely black cover art to argue that the project is “an album you can’t see.” They added, “It doesn’t seem real. but the music exists. the experience exists. and it will be talked about for generations to come.”
Truthfully, this sounds similar to what releasing Donda as an NFT would feel like. But people will just have to keep waiting.

You can read the full theory above and check out what some fans had to say about it below.

Kid Cudi Is The Latest Rapper In Need Of A Professional Blunt Roller

Kid Cudi is looking to make his experience with marijuana a bit less laborious. The rapper sent out a tweet earlier this week calling for a specific kind of help. “I need a professional blunt roller in LA,” he wrote. “Hit @Shift_leader06 w resume. Serious inquires only!!”

The rapper’s appreciation for marijuana goes as far back as 2010, with his sophomore album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. It was filled with songs that referenced weed, including a pair of tracks titled “Marijuana” and “Ashin’ Kusher.” The role of the professional blunt roller is one that could amount to a big payoff for a lucky individual. While it might not be the $5,000 per day, the amount Quavo pays his assistant, it probably wouldn’t be shabby either.

Cudi is not the first rapper to seek a professional blunt roller. Two years ago, Snoop Dogg revealed that he hired one to work for him at the time. “That motherf*cker is like Lurch from the Addams Family: ‘You rang?’” Snoop said about the blunt roller. “That’s his J-O-B — his occupation,” he added. “On his resume, it says, ‘what do you do? I’m a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller.” That same year, Waka Flocka Flame shared that he was offering $50,000 for a professional blunt roller of his own.

Lizzo Reveals What Chris Evans Did That Motivated Her To Slide Into His DMs

Earlier this year, Lizzo confessed that she drunkenly slid into actor Chris Evans’ Instagram DMs. The result was a small back-and-forth, as well as a joke from the singer that she was pregnant with Evans’ baby. Now, Lizzo adds a new layer to the story by explaining what motivated her to try her luck with the Avengers actor in the first place.

“I saw a video of him hollering at this Black girl,” Lizzo said during a recent interview with Big Boy on Real 92.3. “It was like a paparazzi video and it was old. He was outside of this hotel or whatever and he was hollering at this Black girl. He didn’t know nobody was looking at him. He was Christopher Jamal, OK? I don’t know what happened with that, but I know it was years ago so I was like, well she probably not in the picture no more.”

She also admitted that she was inspired by Saweetie and Quavo’s icy-themed Instagram conversation, which led to the pair dating for two and a half years. She figured if it worked for them, it could work for her.

“There’s just something about that face,” Lizzo said about Evans. “When you come up to a Black woman, you gotta come correct. And when you do come correct, there’s nothing more attractive. So I said ‘He got game a little bit. I’m single.’”
