Andre 3000 is easily one of the most beloved artists in the history of hip-hop. His output with Outkast is simply legendary. Overall, there are those who believe he has the greatest flow of all time. Furthermore, some believe he could have been the GOAT rapper had he actually dropped a solo album. With Andre never dropping that aforementioned album, some felt like it was one of those things that we would never get. After all, he has had plenty of opportunities over the years.
However, it seems like the rapper is, indeed, going to be dropping something soon. In fact, he is going to be dropping an album called New Blue Sun on Friday, November 17th. That’s right, folks, the album is coming out this week. Unfortunately, there is a catch here that will disappoint rap fans. As NPR states: “One thing it is not, however, is a rap record: No bars, no beats, no sub-bass. André doesn’t sing on this joint, either. What he does do is play flute, and plenty of it — contrabass flute, Mayan flutes, bamboo flutes — along with other digital wind instruments.”

There are going to be eight instrumental tracks here, and the song titles are pretty lengthy and filled with irony. But for “Subzero” rapper Action Bronson, for a long time, it was his rugged beard.
On November 10, during an appearance on the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast, Bronson revealed that at one point, not even critically acclaimed director Martin Scorsese could get him to shave it off. Bronson had the opportunity to work alongside Scorsese for the 2019 Netflix film The Irishman. While working on set, the award-winning cinematographer asked the unthinkable of Bronson.

Louisiana rapper Summrs found himself at the center of an altercation with members of Homixide Gang during a recent performance at Box Fest. The aftermath has not only stirred controversy but also allegedly led to the cancellation of an upcoming Homixide Gang show. The cancellation reportedly came amid alleged threats from Summrs’ associates. Videos surfaced online depicting the disturbing incident where Summrs was seemingly jumped by a group of individuals associated with Homixide Gang.
Yesterday, Summrs has taken to social media to address the situation. However, he posted photos of his injuries and made fun of the people who jumped them. He said that it took 20 people to steal his jewelry, and they didn’t even get it all. “Li rino get it on without his potnas n security #Souljashit #took20yallgetthatjewelry,” he captioned the post. “How yall not get it all.”
The confrontation escalated into a full-fledged brawl, with reports indicating that the attackers not only physically assaulted Summrs but also made off with several pieces of his jewelry. The 23-date North American run will kick off on February 16 in Portland, Oregon. So far, Batiste has not announced any opening acts.
