Tyler Herro Claims He Expects To Be Traded

Tyler Herro has risen to stardom rapidly during his young career. The former Kentucky Wildcats star quickly found a home with the Miami Heat. The sharpshooter helped lead the team to the 2020 NBA Finals. While he watched from the sidelines this postseason as the team made another Finals appearance. However, collecting Finals appearances is not good enough. The franchise is looking for a way to find themselves back on top of the NBA mountain.

However, getting there may mean parting ways with players on the team. Miami has already lost two key contributors in free agency. That being Gabe Vincent and Max Strus. But this time, the team may be willing to move pieces in a trade. It has been reported that Damian Lillard’s preferred destination would be with the Heat. However, in bringing him in, the team would need to part with great talent. One of those potential great talents could be Herro.

Tyler Herro Uncertain Of Miami Future

The Miami star already believes the moves are in motion for his departure. According to heatnation.com, the Heat guard is telling those close to him that he will be traded. Damian Lillard’s List Of Potential Trade Destinations Grows

The Damian Lillard trade drama finally has a path. The Portland star has requested a trade from the franchise. While it has been reported that Lilalrd’s preferred destination would be Miami. However, there are conflicting reports that the all-star guard has no say in where he will end up. Whatever the case may be, Lillard will have a new home before the start of the 2023-24 season. Just exactly where has yet to be determined. But that isn’t stopping teams from reaching out to the Trail Blazers to see what it will take to bring Lillard to their organization.

Senior NBA insider Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report is reporting that several teams have already contacted Portland with interest in Dame. Among those teams are the Clippers, Timberwolves, Celtics, and Pelicans. Obviously, every team in the league should have this potential acquisition on their radar. Bringing a talent like Lillard to an organization instantly boosts the level the team will perform at. Lillard has made no secret that he wants to play for a team that is championship ready. However, that may not matter to the Trail Blazers.

Championship Contenders Show Interest In Damian Lillard

From Haynes’ report, all four teams that have contacted Portland could become contenders with Lillard. The Clippers and Celtics are two massive names to be considered in this sweepstakes. The Celtics recently added Kristaps Porzingas to their mix of young talent. Adding Lillard could be the cherry on top for an unstoppable force in Boston. At the same time, the Clippers adding Dame could create a deadly new big 3 with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. However, the return is bound to be massive for the services of Lillard.

Whatever the case may be, it feels like this trade is in its infancy stages. It seems that Portland is in no rush to send Lillard off. Miami Heat Nix Conor McGregor Partnership After Mascot Stunt

Game 4 of the NBA Finals has gone down in infamy for Conor McGregor. He was accused of raping a woman just after the game concluded. However, he also sent the Heat’s mascot to the hospital. Partway through the third quarter, the UFC veteran came onto the court alongside Burnie, the Heat’s anthropomorphized fireball mascot. Burnie donned novelty boxing gloves before almost immediately being rocked by a 1-2 punch combo from McGregor. As the mascot writhed on the floor, McGregor sprayed him with a pain relief aerosol. The stunt had been set up to promote the spray, which McGregor co-owns.

However, it was later reported that the man inside the mascot costume had been sent to the ER and received pain medication following the incident. Later, McGregor said that he had visited the man. “The mascot is good. It was a skit, and all is well,” the MMA veteran said. “I spent a lot of time with him afterward, we talked it out, everything is great. It was all part of the show!” Despite McGregor’s assurances, it was likely not the promotion that Tidl Sport Recovery Spray was looking for. That appears to be the case given the latest news out of Miami.

Heat Reportedly Backing Out Of Deal With McGregor

“This was very bad for an otherwise crystal clean organization,” said an insider. “I can’t imagine the Heat brass want the Tidl Sports patch on their jerseys — it’s a reminder of the 24 hours of hell the organization went through.” Reportedly, the deal would have seen Heat players wearing branded patches on their uniforms in the 2023-24 season. However, it appears that the Heat want to distance themselves from the fighter. Literally KOing a team’s mascot will do that.

Furthermore, the other allegations from that night have given the Heat pause for concern. While there has been little progression in the case in recent weeks, McGregor is still accused of violently assaulting a woman at the Heat’s arena. Even if the accusations are proven to be false, it’s yet another thing that taints McGregor’s presence at the Kaseya Center. For the time being, it appears that Miami’s cashing out of the partnership with the pain spray.

Victor Oladipo Opts To Remain With Miami Heat

Veteran guard Victor Oladipo has chosen to exercise his player option and remain with the Miami Heat for the 2023-24 season. The $9.45 million player option represents the second year of a two-year extension Oladipo signed with the Heat ahead of the 2022-23 season. Furthermore, Oladipo exercises his player option while recovering from surgery for a torn patellar tendon sustained during the first round of the playoffs in April.

Oladipo joined the Heat in March 2021 in his second trade of the year. He began his career in Orlando before being traded to Oklahoma City in 2016. A year later, he was traded to the Pacers, where he blossomed into a two-time all-star. However, he was flipped to the Rockets in January 2021, who subsequently traded him to Miami two months later. Injuries have kept Oladipo off the court for most of his time with the Heat. However, he has proven to be a serviceable depth piece when healthy.

Oladipo Looks To Stay Healthy While Heat Look To Run It Back

In returning to the Heat, Oladipo gains a fully guaranteed salary. Furthermore, he will look to play 50 games in a season for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign. If he can, it will be a major boost to the Heat’s goal of once again winning the Eastern Conference. After a run at Bradley Beal didn’t materialize, the Heat are reportedly eyeing a big play for Damian Lillard. However, Lillard remains coy about his future plans. Reportedly, he will hold off from making a decision until he sees what the Blazers do in free agency.

With free agency officially set to open on Friday, the Heat will also look to restock. With Udonis Haslem retiring, the Heat are currently expected to lose depth contributors like Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, and Kevin Love. While targeting a big-name like Lillard to join Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo may be on the cards, the Heat were nothing without their depth last season. This could be even more crucial, given the belief held by some that Jimmy Butler is not the key to winning a championship. As mentioned, free agency begins this week. Jimmy Butler Delivers Message To Heat Teammates From The Beach

Jimmy Butler is easily one of the best players in the league when it comes time for the postseason. Although he hasn’t been able to win an NBA title, there is no doubt that he wills his teams to victory. Overall, the Miami Heat had no business being in the NBA Finals this season. That said, they were still able to make it all the way. It was a truly incredible run that showcased how important it is to have a well-rounded team. While the Finals were a wash, they at least put up a good fight.

Subsequently, the Denver Nuggets are currently being seen as contenders and even favorites for next year. However, very few people are giving the Heat a chance in 2023-24. Mostly, this is due to the fact that they were an eighth seed this past season. Typically, runs like this one take a bit of luck and are hard to replicate. That said, Butler is still very happy with his team’s efforts. He explained as such in a recent Instagram video, where he congratulated his teammates on an amazing season.

Jimmy Butler Speaks

He noted that an NBA season is an incredibly difficult thing to get through. Moreover, he revealed that there aren’t any teammates in the world that he would rather go through the journey with. It’s a great message that fans can surely be proud of.

Soon, the NBA offseason will begin and teams will be able to make changes to their rosters. The Heat is a team that is being hit with numerous rumors. For instance, some believe they will be going after Damian Lillard. Only time will tell whether or not that is the case. Let us know what you think of this, in the comments section below.

Bam Adebayo Trade Packaged Reportedly Being Eyed By Blazers

Bam Adebayo was an amazing player for the Miami Heat this season. In fact, he was one of the reasons why the team was able to get all the way to the NBA Finals. Although they ended up losing out in the end, there is no denying that Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are an incredible duo. At this point, fans are just excited to see what he can do in the future. This is especially true as the Heat are rumored to be looking at a ton of options, including the likes of Damian Lillard.

Speaking of the Portland Trail Blazers, the team is trying to improve. Lillard never seems to make up his mind on whether or not he wants to be traded. Consequently, the Blazers are looking to trade the third overall pick to acquire a player that can pair nicely with Dame. One of those players is none other than Bam Adebayo. As Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports reports, the Blazers are reportedly coming up with a package for Bam. However, the Heat are extremely unlikely to accept.

Bam Adebayo To Portland?

“Miami brass seems very unlikely to consider any Portland overture that doesn’t include standout rookie Shaedon Sharpe, in addition to a package of the No. 3 pick and Anfernee Simons that the Blazers, sources said, have made available in discussions with other teams,” Fischer reported. Needless to say, Bam Adebayo is not going to the Blazers. Instead, it is more likely that Dame ends up in Miami and Adebayo stays put. The Heat are one piece away from really becoming a title favorite. Dame would put them over the edge.

Overall, the Blazers appear to be in a very bad way at this point. They simply can’t get anything done correctly right now. Dame has had his career wasted and some fans are starting to get extremely frustrated. Moreover, their inability to just blow things up and start fresh has been nothing short of aggravating to watch. Let us know what you think of the Blazers strategy, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world.

Rumored Bradley Beal Trade Offers Revealed

On June 14, Shams Charania revealed that the Washington Wizards were working with franchise cornerstone Bradley Beal to find a trade the veteran would agree to. Beal has played his entire career in Washington after being drafted in 2012. However, despite Beal’s caliber, the Wizards had always let him down in terms of a supporting cast. After a handful of Conference Semifinal appearances in the late-2010s, Washington has just one playoff appearance in the last five years.

A variety of teams were immediately floated as good theoretical fits for Beal. However, Beal’s incredibly weighty contract ($207.7 million over the next four seasons) is a major part of the negotiations. Furthermore, Beal will be going from being the top player on the Wizards to like the second or third player on another team. A figure like $207.7 million is a lot of money for a guy who isn’t your best player. Over the past few days, rumors have linked four teams to Beal. However, the most recent development is that the Wizards are in “serious talks” with the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.

Rumored Beal Trade Offers Revealed

Per The Athletic, the Heat and Suns are offering major packages to try and secure Beal’s services. Miami’s deal reportedly pairs Kyle Lowery and Duncan Robinson with “multiple first-round picks.” Between now and 2030, the Heat currently own all but two of their first-round picks. The Thunder have the right to swap first-round picks with the Heat in 2025, as long as the Heat do not pick within the top-14. If they do, the Thunder retain the right to swap picks in 2026.

Meanwhile, the Suns’ package centers around star center DeAndre Ayton. The deal would additionally include “additional cap filler or future Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul and Landry Shamet.” However, The Athletic report makes no mention of the Suns including picks in the deal. These offers present two very different futures for Washington. Either they can slowly rebuild through the draft or attempt a faster retooling around Ayton. This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates here at HotNewHipHop.

Washington Wizards In “Serious Talks” With Miami Heat And Phoenix Suns About Bradley Beal Trade

Despite this four teams have so far been linked with a move to acquire Beal – the Heat, the Bucks, the Kings, and the Nets. However, it appears that the trade talks are starting to heat up.

Heat And Suns Emerge As Frontrunners For Beal

Per Charania, the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns have emerged as finalists to acquire Beal’s services. The Suns, who were not previously mentioned in trade rumors, make for an intriguing trade partner. The team is looking to restructure after falling well short of their “win-now” objective for 2023. A trade for Beal could see DeAndre Ayton, Chris Paul, or both, heading to Washington. That would set up a Big Three of Beal, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker anchoring the Suns next season.

Meanwhile, the Heat are $67.3 million over the cap. Furthermore, the Heat do not have a lot of weighty contracts they could offload to Washington to balance out Beal’s. A hypothetical trade could force the Heat to give up a lot of good depth talent. This could be somewhat mitigated by draft picks. Despite this, they will still need to find some way to balance the books to accommodate Beal’s massive contract. That said, securing Beal would allow the Heat to field their own Big Three of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Beal. Where do you think Beal will end up? Let us know in the comments. SOURCE SPORTS: Conor McGregor Accused of Raping Woman at Game 4 of NBA Finals

SOURCE SPORTS: Conor McGregor Accused of Raping Woman at Game 4 of NBA Finals

Conor McGregor is under investigation for allegedly raping a woman at Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Miami.

Attorney Ariel Mitchell sent a letter to McGregor, the NBA, and Miami HEAT, stating the alleged sexual assault occurred after the Nuggets won 108-95 at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

TMZ Sports states the Miami PD is still researching the incident and have been since Sunday.

The sexual assault occurred during the same game, which McGregor served as a part of the halftime entertainment. According to the letter, the woman was separated from her friend by NBA and HEAT security and directed to a bathroom where McGregor and his security guard were inside.

Mitchell states, “security refused to let [the woman] exit or allow anyone else, including her friend, inside the bathroom.” The woman stated she had to use the bathroom, getting McGregor off of her after a forced kiss, but he then went on to force oral sex. Following that, McGregor allegedly pinned the woman on a wall in an attempt to sodomize her.

The woman elbowed McGregor and escaped but left her purse behind, leading to a negotiation with security to get it back. She would report the incident to local authorities on Sunday. The woman is seeking settlements with the NBA, HEAT, and McGregor.

Representatives for the UFC star stated McGregor “will not be intimdated” and the allegations are false. The HEAT and NBA state they are gathering information on their own.

Rick Ross Supports Kendrick Perkins “Ja Morant To Miami” Take

There has been a lot of debate surrounding the future of Ja Morant. The NBA is expected to announce a punishment for Morant in the coming days after he was caught on Instagram Live flashing a gun last month. Despite claims from Morant’s team that the gun was fake, the league is expected to hand out a significant suspension.

2023-24 marks the first year of a five-year, $194.3 million extension that Morant signed with the Grizzlies. Furthermore, there is a poison pill trade restriction in place until July 1, if the Grizzlies wanted to trade. However, that hasn’t stopped speculation. Speaking on First Take, Kendrick Perkins said that he wanted to see Morant playing in Miami. “We just got talking about the Miami Heat. That’s the culture and the organization I think he should go to,” Perkins said. “They got the godfather, Pat Riley. There’s nothing that goes down in that city without him knowing about it.”

A post shared by THE HIP-HOP WOLF® (@thehiphopwolf)

Morant to Miami is an interesting, if unlikely, proposal. While the organization would likely be a good informative culture for Morant, it’s hard to see them swinging a trade. First, there are Morant’s behavioral issues. Riley runs a fairly no-nonsense organization, so it’s difficult to see him bring in a rehabilitation project like Morant. Second, Miami is already $87 million over the salary cap and eyeing a blockbuster trade to acquire Bradley Beal.

However, the proposed move has gotten very prominent vote of confidence. Taking to Instagram, Rick Ross posted a simple message to his story. “I can mentor #jamorant in Miami’. While somewhat unorthodox, especially given the recent news of Morant rejecting outreach from the likes of Lil Wayne, it could be just what Morant needs. An influential figure like Ross could get through to Morant in a way that an exec or cultural administrator like Riley couldn’t. So, while the move is unlikely, it’s good to know that there are people willing to help facilitate Morant’s rehabilitation, even if that means moving him away from Memphis.
