This next performance comes from one of the biggest hip-hop producers in music today.” “A diamond certified superstar who’s not only nominated for four VMAs, but has also had multiple number one albums and 42 Billboard Hot 100 hits, featuring Future, Swae Lee, A Boogie With Da Hoodie, and NAV … give it up for Metro!” she continued.

While her introduction was high-energy and perfectly read, fans pointed out her pronunciation of “music,” and “Future.” The up-and-coming rapper has a distinctive Memphis accent that’s hard to ignore. Thursday night, a man was shot and injured during a Lil Baby concert at the FedEx Forum in Memphis. Fans were forced to evacuate the venue, with no other injuries being reported. The Atlanta rapper was performing alongside Rylo Rodriguez when the incident occurred. He was rushed off stage immediately after the shots were fired. Currently, the shooter’s identity is unknown, and Memphis Police have yet to make an arrest. However, they concluded that the shooting was premeditated and the victim was targeted. As police conduct their investigation, here is what we know so far about the Lil Baby concert shooting.

Initial Reporting

The Memphis Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the FedEx Forum during Lil Baby’s performance around 10:23 p.m. on Thursday (September 7). One concertgoer, Clarissa Johnson, told WREG Memphis she “heard a pop” before evacuating the venue. “I’m still not sure what happened. It’s not so sweet tonight, though,” she said. The shooting victim, later reportedly identified as Young Dolph’s cousin, CEO Jizzle, was said to have been in critical condition when police responded before being rushed to Regional One Health Medical Center. The incident reportedly occurred on the first floor near the stage. The victim is no longer in critical condition today, and no other injuries have since been reported.

Following the shooting, the Memphis Police Department released a statement. They are investigating how a weapon managed to get inside the arena as all fans walk through a metal detector when entering. The shooter’s identity is unknown, and police are actively working to find the culprit. The FedEx Forum also released a statement echoing the goals of the police’s investigation. GloRilla, who was scheduled to perform at the show, commented on the situation. In a social media post, the rapper expressed frustration of her hometown. She said, “Memphis is ghetto as f**k. We been on this tour this whole f*****g time and today they want to f*****g shoot. It ain’t been a shootout at not a one of these shows… Man, this some ghetto s**t. It ain’t even funny, for real.” In addition to GloRilla’s remarks, Lil Baby also took to social media after the shooting.

Lil Baby Assured Fans Their Refunds

Center in Louisville, Kentucky, has also been canceled following the shooting. The rest of his upcoming shows on his It’s Only Us Tour are scheduled to take place as planned.

Lil Baby Breaks His Silence Following Concert Shooting

Earlier this week, one of Lil Baby’s performances ended in tragedy, after a shooting took place near the stage. The unfortunate situation unfolded at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, and left one fan injured. The show was immediately brought to a close, and the stadium was promptly evacuated. Sadly, one fan was shot, and was reported to be in critical condition after the incident. The shooter has yet to be identified.

Luckily, the injured man appears to be doing better, having shared a couple of messages from his hospital bed since the shooting. He told viewers to “Pray for the opps 10x harder,” and seems to be in good spirits. Victim Of Lil Baby Concert Shooting Shares Update

Last night, a Lil Baby show ended abruptly in chaotic fashion. The rapper was performing in Memphis at the FedEx Forum when about 30 minutes into his set, a shooting took place. The shots were fired surprisingly close to the stage and resulted in one man being evacuated and taken to the hospital. Lil Baby Concert Ends With Shooting, Footage Surfaces Online

A Lil Baby concert in Memphis ended in the worst way possible on Thursday night. The show was taking place at the FedEx Forum, which is also the home of the Memphis Grizzlies. Overall, the show was going smoothly until a shooting took place close to the stage. According to ABC News, the shooting took place just before 10:30 PM, which means Baby would have been on stage for about 30 minutes.

As the report explains, a man was shot on the scene. He subsequently had to be wheeled out of the arena. However, the man who did the shooting is unknown and is reportedly still on the run. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter. In regard to the man who was injured, he is staying at the Regional One Health Medical Center in critical condition. It goes without saying that the show was eventually canceled as the entire arena was evacuated.

Blac Youngsta’s Brother Reportedly Killed In Memphis Shooting

A man killed in a shooting at a gas station in Memphis on August 18 has reportedly been identified as the brother of rapper Blac Youngsta. Police report that a man was killed at a BP station on South Parkway East a little after 9:30AM on Friday. No Jumper has since claimed that this individual was the brother of the local rapper. However, the outlet did not identify a source for this information. No statement to this effect has been released on any social media account associated with the rapper and it is unclear where No Jumper has sourced this information from.

Blac Youngsta is best known for his singles “Hip-Hopper” and “Booty”. However, his last three albums have failed to chart and he is yet to release a single this year. Furthermore, he is also associated with a beef involving the late Young Dolph. In May 2017, Youngsta surrendered to police on charges involving over 100 rounds being fired into the SUV of Dolph. He was charged with six counts before being granted bond. Furthermore, Youngsta’s charges were dropped in 2019.

Hernandez Govan, the alleged mastermind of Dolph’s murder, was absolutely torn a new one by the presiding judge, Lee Coffee. Judge Coffee berated Govan in a nearly eight-minute speech after Govan filed a motion to have his bond restrictions lessened. It was also revealed that Govan had left violated his house arrest on several occasions. “That’s a violation of your bond,” Coffee said. ” I don’t know who gave you permission, but unless you hear from Judge Coffee..it can’t be done unless it’s approved by this court.”

Kodak Black Spotted In Memphis Following Jail Release

Kodak Black was spotted by a fan out in Memphis, Tennessee, over the weekend, following his recent release from jail. He has been booked into Broward County Jail for failing to check in for a recent drug test, late last month. He eventually got out on a $250,000 bond.

No Jumper shared a video of Kodak out and about in Memphis on Instagram, early Monday. Kodak had recently performed at a Kodak Black & Friends charity concert, last week. The show featured G Herbo, Rico Cartel, iCandy, and the rapper’s Sniper Gang collective.
