Skip Bayless Actually Says Something Nice About The Lakers

Skip Bayless is an avid hater of LeBron James. Additionally, by extension, Skip isn’t so fond of the Los Angeles Lakers. Pretty well all year, he has been detailing how this Lakers team just isn’t very good. Moreover, he has had some harsh words for players like Russell Westbrook. For the most part, however, Skip’s beef has been with LeBron who he feels has spent too much time going for the scoring record. Needless to say, Skip is a huge LeBron hater and that will likely never change.

As it stands, the Lakers are facing a very interesting test of their will. They have a ton of new players on the team, and they need to go on a big winning streak soon. Overall, they are looking to make the playoffs and that will require going on a big winning streak. On Wednesday, they started that journey with a blowout win over the Pelicans. As it turns out, that win actually impressed Bayless. So much so that Skip had to talk about it on Undisputed today.

Skip Bayless Reacts

During a debate with Shannon Sharpe, Skip noted that this win deserves a 9 out of 10 on the impressive scale. Overall, this is a very good score for Skip, who loves to undercut everything James does. However, Bayless truly believes the Lakers could be on the up and up with their new-look roster. “That was BY FAR the best the Lakers have looked all season long,” Bayless proclaimed. It was hard for Sharpe to disagree with this assessment given how big of a win it was. The Lakers have struggled to blow teams out, although that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore.

No matter what, this next stretch of basketball is not going to be easy for the Lakers. They are a team that needs to win 67 percent of its games, which is much easier said than done. Hopefully, for LeBron and that fanbase, they can get it done. Let us know what you think the Lakers’ chances are, in the comments below. LeBron James Reacts To Recent Lakers Additions

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are staring down an incredibly difficult final stretch to the season. Overall, they are 13th in the Western Conference and they need to find a way to get into the playoffs. While they may only be five games back of third place, it is still going to be hard for them. After all, there are only 23 games left, which means they need to go on an insane run to end the year. Although, they do have some new pieces that could make this potential run a whole lot easier.

For instance, the Lakers traded Russell Westbrook for Jarred Vanderbilt, D’Angelo Russell, and Malik Beasley. Furthermore, they also picked up Mo Bamba in a trade for Patrick Beverley. Needless to say, these are some solid new players to give LeBron and Anthony Davis. Moreover, in LeBron’s first game with these new pieces, the Lakers won in a blowout. Simply put, the Lakers could be cooking up something very interesting here.

LeBron Offers Praise

According to Michael Corvo of Clutch Points, LeBron had some nice things to say about his new teammates. Additionally, he offered some support to all of the Lakers players who have been traded over the past few weeks. “I think our skill sets all kind of fit each other,” James said of his new players. “I shout out and salute the guys that left. Russ, Pat, JTA, DJ, and Thomas … We all started the season together and tried to work to make things happen and be the best that we could. So, I salute those guys and their commitment.”

James has seen numerous players come and go on the Los Angeles Lakers. Only time will tell whether or not these new guys can handle the pressure. After all, playing with LeBron is no easy task. Hopefully, everyone is able to co-exist with one another throughout this final stretch. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

LeBron James Speaks Out On His Recent Injury

LeBron James has had an emotional week if you want to put it lightly. Just last Tuesday, he surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for first all-time on the NBA scoring list. Overall, this is one of the best records in the entire history of the league. It is unfathomable to think that James could have ever broken this record. Moreover, LeBron still has a few great years left in him, which means it is likely that he runs up his numbers. If you are a basketball fan, you can’t help but be grateful for the greatness LeBron has provided over the years.

Since breaking the record, James has been out of the Lakers lineup with a bit of an injury. He has been dealing with soreness in his foot that has threatened to derail the Lakers’ season. Although, James was able to return on Wednesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans. Throughout that game, the Lakers looked like a complete team as James scored 21 points in an 18-point victory. Subsequently, James gave reporters some updates on his injury and how he will be moving forward.

LeBron Reacts

“Just knowing there was no structural damage. No stress reaction, no stress fracture, no bone chips, breaks, anything like that. It was just something that happened, just wear down. … I was able to not stress it as much because I was not able to play the last three games,” LeBron explained. “My ankle and my foot feels really good right now. So it’s a good start.” This should come as very good news to the Los Angeles Lakers. Without LeBron, they would ultimately have no chance of actually winning anything.

Heading into this last stretch of the season, the Lakers will likely need to win 67 percent of their games in order to make the play-in. Overall, this is a very difficult task when you consider how bad the team has been this year. However, with a new roster surrounding LeBron, everyone seems very motivated to make it happen. Let us know what you think of the Lakers’ chances, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.

Russell Westbrook Hit With Harsh Reality Check

Russell Westbrook used to be one of the best point guards in the entire NBA. However, in recent years, Westbrook has seen a bit of a regression. Overall, fans do not believe in him the way they once did. It is a sad reality, albeit one that he must deal with moving forward. Even amongst actual NBA teams, there is this certain narrative surrounding Russ. No matter what he does, people are going to put him under the microscope, and that will not be changing.

Right now, Russ is dealing with the fallout from a trade involving the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers. Subsequently, Russ is on the Jazz who have made it clear that they want to buy out his contract. This is a stressful time for the former Laker, who must now decide whom he wants to play for. For now, it seems like three teams re in the running for Westbrook. This includes the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, and Chicago Bulls. However, there are no guarantees that any of these teams end up taking him.

Russell Westbrook Moving Forward

While speaking on Fan Duel TV today, Shams Charania had some interesting comments about Russ. Unfortunately, they come across as a bit of a harsh reality check that will make Westbrook feel bad. “When you look at teams around the league, there’s not a spot for Russell Westbrook,” Charania said. “It’s a slow-moving market, and we’ll see if he’ll be able to find a home.” For now, one would have to assume that Russ will find a team before the postseason. After all, he is absolutely still a serviceable player, regardless of the narratives out there right now.

No matter what, this is going to be a very interesting situation to monitor over the coming months. Hopefully, for Russ, he is able to go out there and change how people feel about him. Until then, let us know which team you would want Russell Westbrook to play for, in the comments down below. LeBron James Gets Some Good News

LeBron James is easily one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA. Just recently, he surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for first on the all-time scoring list. Overall, it was a truly incredible record to break, and it will probably be years before anyone else breaks it again. That said, it is clear that LeBron is one of the biggest legends in the history of the NBA. One can only hope that he has a solid end to his career. After all, it would be fitting for all of his accomplishments.

However, this season has been a bit of a struggle for James and the Lakers. On one hand, LeBron has been great individually. Although, the Lakers continue to struggle. Moreover, James has missed the last three games due to a lingering foot problem. This is one of those injuries that could very easily derail the Lakers’ season, and fans have been hoping that not to be the case.

LeBron Coming Back?

Now, LeBron and the Lakers are actually getting some good news. While speaking to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, head coach Darvin Ham said it is very likely that LeBron will be playing tonight. The Lakers are set to take on the New Orleans Pelicans, who are dealing with some injuries of their own. Overall, this will be a huge boost to the Lakers, especially since LeBron averages 30 points per game. Furthermore, it will be his first game with the new players on the Lakers, including D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see how the Lakers respond. They are in desperate need of a winning streak, especially with the All-Star breaking coming up. If they can’t get that done, then they can ultimately kiss this season goodbye. Let us know what you think of the Lakers, in the comments below. LeBron James Injury Begins To Elicit Real Concern

LeBron James had a huge game with the Los Angeles Lakers last Tuesday. For those who may not remember, LeBron was playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder with the scoring record in mind. Overall, it was a very emotional night for the entire team. However, James came through with an amazing 38-point performance that ultimately gave him the record. This was one of the biggest moments in LeBron’s entire career, and it is a testament to his longevity in the sport.

Unfortunately, Lakers fans have not seen LeBron in the lineup since breaking the record. Immediately after his record-setting night, he decided to sit against Milwaukee. For the most part, fans just thought that he was taking part in some load management. Although, it has become clear that his injury is more than that. In fact, LeBron has officially missed three games in a row, and now, fans are worried about what is going on.

LeBron James Out

According to a report from Marc Stein, LeBron James has actually been dealing with this injury for quite some time. It is even to the point where it is “unbearable” for James on some occasions. “I was told that Tuesday’s game, the record-breaking game, I was told LeBron was severely struggling with that foot injury he has,” Stein wrote. “It’s something that’s been nagging him for a few weeks already, but it gets to point where it just gets unbearable. He plays through it. And people that talked to me said he was really struggling with that foot.”

This is going to be a bit of an issue for the Lakers, moving forward. LeBron has their MVP this season and without him, they probably won’t make the playoffs. Consequently, that will be two years in a row without a postseason appearance for the purple and gold. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments down below. Patrick Beverley Has A Message For The Lakers

Patrick Beverley is a player who has been through a lot in the NBA. He had to grind to get a roster spot at the beginning of his career, and since then, he has taken advantage of his opportunities. Overall, Pat Bev is seen as a player that you hate to play against but love to have on your team. He talks a whole lot of trash and is also wildly entertaining. Moreover, he is a good teammate who always defends his people, even if they had beef in the past.

At the beginning of the season, Beverley was able to secure a spot with the Los Angeles Lakers. Consequently, it was believed that the Lakers had made a huge upgrade to their defense. As the season began, however, it became clear that Beverley wasn’t providing the defense they thought he would. Subsequently, Beverley’s name was tossed around in various trade rumors. On Thursday, all of that chatter came to a head as Beverley was officially traded to the Orlando Magic for Mo Bamba.

Patrick Beverley Reacts

Now, it is being reported that the Magic want to buy out Beverley’s deal which would allow him to become a free agent. There is no telling where he will go, although today, he was more focused on crafting a message for the Lakers. As you can see in the tweet above, Beverley wanted to showcase his gratitude towards the franchise. “[Lakers], thanks for the Love,” Beverley wrote. “Was a pleasure 2 represent the Lakers in any type of Way. Thanks Rob, Thanks Coach Ham and Entire Lakers organization for everything. Finish Strong GANG.” It was a very nice message that showcases how much the opportunity meant to Pat Bev.

Overall, it remains to be seen where Beverley will go next. However, there are certainly going to be some teams out there who will want his veteran presence. Hopefully, he can get that figured out sooner rather than later. Let us know where you would like to see Pat Bev play, in the comments down below. Larsa Pippen Teased After Ex Malik Beasley Traded To Lakers With Scotty Pippen Jr.

As her romance with Marcus Jordan heats up, Larsa Pippen’s past relationship comes back to haunt her. The ex-wife of Scottie Pippen has made a name for herself as a socialite and reality television star; however, her romances seem to take over social media timelines. She’s been linked to the likes of Future and later NBA star Malik Beasley. During her relationship with the latter, Beasley was separated from his wife, Montana Yao. A social media war of sorts unfolded, and after four months of canoodling, Beasley and Pippen called it quits.

Yet, things are about to get a tad awkward after huge announcements were made during Thursday’s (February 9) NBA trade deadline. It was learned that Beasley was given a new home with the Los Angeles Lakers—the team that also houses Larsa’s son, Scotty Pippen Jr. The 22-year-old basketball star has already faced trolls who teased him about his mother’s famous boyfriends. Now, he’ll be teammates with her ex.

For now, Larsa looks more than happy with Marcus Jordan, son of NBA giant Michael Jordan. This means the 48-year-old is dating the 32-year-old son of her ex-husband’s teammate, which has made the internet light up with jokes. In this latest Lakers update, the Jordans, Pippens, nor Beasleys have reacted, but Montana Yao seems to know about the trade. On her Instagram Story, she simply wrote: “LOL.”

Yao previously took to social media to call out Larsa. She suggested her fellow NBA wife was dating Beasley before their separation. This was a point that was argued back and forth, but in the end, it didn’t seem to matter much. Immediately after calling off the relationship with Pippen, Beasley publicly apologized to Yao for what she endured.

Anthony Davis Explains Body Language During LeBron’s Record-Setting Moment

Anthony Davis has been having a bit of a difficult season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Overall, these difficulties mostly have to do with his health status. Davis is constantly going through injury issues, and it has messed with his ability to remain on the floor. However, when he does get on the floor, he has been pretty solid. Regardless, there is quite a bit of frustration within the Lakers locker room at this point, and it is very understandable as to why.

Unfortunately, that frustration seemingly manifested itself at the worst possible moment on Tuesday night. As we all know, LeBron was going for the all-time scoring record. Consequently, LeBron kicked it up a notch and scored 36 points in three quarters, which got him the record. Although, AD didn’t look all that enthusiastic as he was sitting down during James’ record-breaking shot. This became a viral clip on Twitter, and people began to ask themselves questions about Davis’ relationship with James. Yesterday, AD spoke out and answered for himself.

Anthony Davis Speaks

As you can see in the clip above, AD was adamant that he was just upset about the game. Furthermore, he didn’t actually know where LeBron was in relation to the record. Had he of known, he would have reacted with a bit more urgency. “Y’all know me and Bron’s relationship,” Davis said. “It’s nothing. [I was] upset about the game. We were losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder, a game we needed and I was pissed off that we were losing. It’s that simple. It’s nothing that has to do with Bron and he knows that. Everyone else on the outside looking in, that’s their opinion but I was pissed off that we were losing the game.”

Moving forward, AD is going to need to be an MVP-caliber player for the Lakers. The roster has changed dramatically over the last couple of days, and they need some wins in order to make the postseason. LeBron James will also be back in the lineup this weekend, and hopefully, they can put the last week behind them. Let us know what you think of AD’s explanation, in the comments below. Russell Westbrook’s Wife Rips ESPN For “Vampire” Comments

Russell Westbrook is someone who has been slandered a lot by reporters over the years. Typically, reporters don’t like Russ because of his style of play. Moreover, he has been short with the media on a few occasions. However, one can chalk that up to their treatment of him. All-in-all, it is one of those chicken and the egg type situations. You don’t actually know which one came first. Either way, the media does not like Westbrook, and the feeling is definitely mutual.

On Wednesday night, Westbrook was traded by the Los Angeles Lakers to the Utah Jazz. Subsequently, the Lakers got back D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and Jarred Vanderbilt. This was thanks to the Minnesota Timberwolves who came in as the third team. Overall, Russ is going to be getting a fresh start as the Jazz are set to buy out his contract. There is no telling what will happen next for Westbrook. However, it will definitely be better than whatever happened with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Russell Westbrook Slander

During an ESPN report yesterday, Dave McMenamin revealed that one source called Westbrook a “vampire.” This kind of reporting drew the ire of many in the NBA community. Furthermore, it upset Westbrook’s wife Nina, who took to the comments of the post above with some strong words. “This is just sick ESPN…Russell is no vampire,” Westbrook wrote. “This is also slander because anyone who knows anything knows that this couldn’t be further from the truth. On a personal note, I have school-aged children who have to listen to their peers repeat the nasty things that you guys say on television about their father.”

Many have noted just how personal some of the attacks against Westbrook have been. Overall, it feels like some of this has gone beyond basketball, which isn’t right whatsoever. Hopefully, Russ is given another chance this year, and he is able to change the narratives against him, once and for all. Let us know what you think of Nina Westbrook’s comments, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more coverage from the NBA world.
