At this point in his career, there’s little that Drake has to cross off his bucket list or prove to anyone else. Still, as he moves into his late 30s, the Toronto native has made it known that retirement isn’t on the horizon for him anytime soon. Even if he doesn’t follow up For All The Dogs with another LP for a minute, Drake is at least providing entertainment in other ways. Recently, he’s taken up streaming in tandem with Kick, sometimes recruiting Lil Yachty to join him for fun nights of gambling and laughter.

This weekend, the “Nice For What” artist was rolling solo while going live online, sipping on a pink drink in the tropics. “This is about you more than it is about me,” he said while sitting outside enjoying his beverage by the pool. “F**k Drake for the night. That’s what she said,” the father of one quips in the clip below. “No, but honestly tho, thank you for the $0.20 tip. I appreciate that, it’ll go to a good cause,” he promised the loyal viewer with a straight face.

Drake Hopes to Grow His Fortune on Kick

“We’re giving away [a million] tonight. I want you guys to get rich, I want you to feel rich. I hope you get blessed tonight. We got people calling in on FaceTime. This is really about blessing the people for the holidays. Happy holidays to you all, whatever you celebrate. Going into the new year, I hope I can put some money into yuh pockets,” the multi-talent told viewers.

Afterward, Drake impressed himself by successfully navigating through the stream, telling the platform he wants a billion-dollar deal from them. “I’m available,” he teased before taking a hit of his hookah. Kanye West Refuses Photo With Adin Ross After Jumping Into His Sprinter Van

Kanye West has been in Miami as of late where he is currently promoting his new album with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures. Overall, this is a collaborative album that has been in production for the last few months. Between Italy and Saudi Arabia, these two artists linked up daily to crank out some tracks. It remains to be seen how this project will turn out, however, many are optimistic that it will be a great album. Only time will really tell whether or not that is actually going to be the case.

Last night, Kanye West participated in a listening party for the album. This was a huge gathering of artists as Freddie Gibbs, Lil Baby, and even Playboi Carti pulled up. Even North West is going to be on the album, which is something that has some fans very excited. While leaving the party last night, Ye actually had an encounter with none other than Adin Ross. It all started when he accidentally jumped in the streamer’s sprinter van, only to be told that he had to get out.

Subsequently, Adin Ross attempted to get a photo with Kanye. After all, Adin was also with IShowSpeed, and they were both excited to get a glimpse at the legendary artist. At the end of the day, Ye was pretty busy with his release party, and it is easy to see why he wouldn’t want any photos with anybody.

Subsequently, Speed has been showing off this new house for everyone to see. Unfortunately, this has led to some negative consequences. Showing off your home as a streamer can be a huge no no. This can lead to swatting, which is when people call the police and say there is a hostage situation or an organized crime operation happening at a person’s address. The police then go in with weapons and a lot of the time, it happens while a streamer is live. Well, that is exactly what happened to IShowSpeed yesterday.

As you can see in the video above, Speed immediately recognized what was happening. He was a bit confused as to where he needed to be, but he eventually figured it all out. Moreover, in the clip, you can see some officers come into the frame. They have heavy weapons and it is all very scary. Thankfully, everyone was okay following the incident. The police just had to make sure that nothing bad was happening. Hopefully, Speed can get in a good word with the police department so that they know to be aware of these kinds of situations in the future.

DJ Akademiks Signs With Controversial Streaming Site Rumble

DJ Akademiks has inked an exclusive live-streaming deal with Rumble, the controversial platform that hosts numerous right-wing figures and is partially funded by billionaire Peter Thiel and Republican Ohio senator J.D. Vance. The company announced in a press release that Akademiks will stream on the site three to five days a week.

“I look forward to being one of the first to bring music and cultural conversations to a platform like Rumble. There have been many bad decisions at larger platforms where they haven’t put creators first and they are disconnected to the community. I feel now is an inflection point for streaming platforms,” Akademiks said in a statement.” I couldn’t be more excited to lead this effort on a platform that puts creators first.”

“Akademiks is one of the most influential personalities in the Hip-Hop and cultural world,” said Rumble Chairman and CEO Chris Pavlovski. “Having him on Rumble sends a big statement to the other platforms on how serious we are in getting into different channels of content, from sports to music to culture.” Rumble originally launched back in October 2013. More recently, it bills itself as “a high-growth neutral video platform…creating the rails and independent infrastructure designed to be immune to cancel culture.”

The signing for Akademiks comes days after he met up with former president Donald Trump at UFC 287 in Miami. In a post sharing a picture from the event, Akademiks joked about running as his vice president in 2024. “Might have to take up Uncle Trump on his offer of being His Vice President 2024,” he joked. “Bruh told me ’no way you’d be worse than Kamala.” After the move was announced, Akademiks also got into a back and forth with another hip-hop journalist on Twitter after the man accused him of “fuckery.” Akademiks’ first live stream on Rumble will air at 6:00 PM, ET on Tuesday, April 11th.
