Lil Baby Previews New Music After Young Thug Teased Comeback Collab

Lil Baby is working on a new album, and though it’s been a long time coming, fans recently got a couple of reasons to re-energize their excitement. For example, he previewed new music during a performance at the Don’t Fall In Love festival in San Bernardino, California on Saturday (November 2). The “Options” rapper’s new track will apparently appear on his next project, and it’s a slow trap banger with a fast flow switch-up and shimmering chimes. It’s not the most unique sound in the world, but it’s great to hear him in this mode. Of course, fans will wait until the new album to make a judgement call, but regardless of whether you’re liking it or not, there’s another new music hint that will demand your attention.

Following his release from jail, Young Thug tweeted the following at Lil Baby on Sunday morning (November 3): “Wham let’s drop one on these rats peter.” Baby responded with a heartfelt message. “I missed you mf !!” he shared via an Instagram Story post. “Welcome home my brudda! Thank god you able to get back to the fam in good health and spirits! Wish ya none but billions jack! #whateverwhamsaygoes.”

As such, it seems like Young Thug and Lil Baby will team up for a collab soon, and fans can’t wait to hear the former back in the booth after such a long time without truly new music. Sure, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS last year was great, but that was more of a vault collection and not wholly new material. Also, fans are particularly interested due to a viral theory that Thugger shaded Gunna with this tweet. Baby’s been allegedly throwing shots at the YSL MC for allegedly “snitching” with his plea deal almost two years ago, and he’s allegedly responded in kind. But considering that Thug requested to maintain his working relationship with Wunna while negotiating his probation conditions, these mixed signals are in dire need of clarification.

With that in mind, take all that discussion with a grain of salt. As for Lil Baby, this proved to be a hectic year for him, whether for a lawsuit from a music video shooting or his Vegas arrest earlier this year. Hopefully this new music, in any capacity, gets him right back on track.

Jack Doherty Reportedly Blew A Bag On A Very Brief Lil Baby Performance For His Birthday

Hopefully Lil Baby has something big on the way for fans, because some of them resorted to debating performance fees and celebrity associations amid the drought. For those unaware, he reportedly performed about seven songs or so at YouTuber and streamer Jack Doherty’s 21st birthday party. Not only that, but according to DJ Akademiks, Doherty blew a $200K bag to have the Atlanta MC take the stage. In the replies of the post below, you’ll see some folks clowning the content creator for this choice, clowning Baby for what they see as a fall-off, or clowning Ak and others for pocket-watching.

No matter where you fall on those debates, you might know the controversies attached to Jack Doherty, so to see this vitriolic reaction in some corners is unsurprising. It’s part of why some fans chose to roast the Lil Baby link-up and question why he would even agree to this. Back to Akademiks’ theory, though, he also indicated Baby’s alleged standard performance fees for huge concerts and compared it to this brief appearance, which some called unenthusiastic in the replies below.

Elsewhere in Lil Baby’s life, he has a couple of curious relationship stories, rumors, and allegations floating around the Internet right now. The latest of these to pop up concerns his ex Ayesha Howard and how Anthony Edwards allegedly requested a paternity test from her. While this doesn’t concern the rapper directly, plenty of folks commented on the previous relationship and prompted another gender war debate over parenthood dynamics like these. However, this all remains alleged, so take all these theories and assumptions about their personal lives with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, other Lil Baby fans hope that his recent feature alongside Lil Yachty on Rod Wave’s “F**k Fame” will springboard into more consistent releases from him in the near future. At the very least, Jack Doherty critics hope that Baby gets busy enough in other areas to not have to perform at more content creator parties. Lil Baby Concert Ends With Shooting, Footage Surfaces Online

A Lil Baby concert in Memphis ended in the worst way possible on Thursday night. The show was taking place at the FedEx Forum, which is also the home of the Memphis Grizzlies. Overall, the show was going smoothly until a shooting took place close to the stage. According to ABC News, the shooting took place just before 10:30 PM, which means Baby would have been on stage for about 30 minutes.

As the report explains, a man was shot on the scene. He subsequently had to be wheeled out of the arena. However, the man who did the shooting is unknown and is reportedly still on the run. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter. In regard to the man who was injured, he is staying at the Regional One Health Medical Center in critical condition. It goes without saying that the show was eventually canceled as the entire arena was evacuated.

In the video posted above, you can see some of the footage from the incident. Firstly, you have a video that showcases the shooting taking place. Although, there is a lot of commotion and the source of the gunfire seems unclear. As for the second video, you can see people seemingly attending to the man who had just been shot. Additionally, in the footage where we see the gunfire, Lil Baby can clearly be seen ducking for cover and running off of the stage.

At the time of writing this, Lil Baby and his team have yet to comment on the situation. This is a very scary incident, and we hope the victim is going to be okay.
