Latto & GloRilla Put On A Hilarious Dance Battle After A Megan Thee Stallion Tour Stop: Watch

It seems that almost every headline coming out of the Megan Thee Stallion’s tour has been a positive one. Her Hot Girl Summer Tour has been filling up arenas with ease and her “Hotties” have been soaking up all the fun. Two of her most recent shows took place in Atlanta and during that time her, Latto, and GloRilla were rocking the stage. The duo of Meg and Big Latto were making some noise with their forthcoming remix of “Sunday Service”. Fans were going nuts over the collab and that should be dropping fairly soon. This time, though, GloRilla and Latto are the ones having some fun, as the two engaged in friendly dance battles.

According to AllHipHop, round one started right after the last ATL stop. Glo and Latto got down to “Wanna Be”, the former and Megan’s first collaboration. The Houston rapper crowned Ms. Atlanta the winner after twerking up a storm with her “manilla vanilla clappas” while wearing a red Dior durag over her face. Megan taunted Glo in the IG voiceover post below, basically telling her to get back on the dancefloor for round two.

“Glo, I really just think y’all gone have to have a muthaf***in rematch. She definitely ate you up friend. And she left the rag on your head? You about to let Latto do you like that, Glo?”. After exchanging words on X, the ladies stepped into the ring for the finale. Latto shared the second dance off (the video above), with a scoreboard. The “Big Energy” MC went on to take W 4-2, but Glo hilariously gave some reasons as to why she took the L. “I clearly won. She did da same twerk twice & I had heels on yall kissing a** cause if I woulda start twerking I woulda got eliminated”.

What are your thoughts on the dance battle between GloRilla and Latto? Who do you think won the competition overall? How do you feel about all the female rappers siding with Megan? Latto And GloRilla Got Into Some Friendly Dance Competition Backstage At The ‘Hot Girl Summer Tour’

Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla‘s Hot Girl Summer Tour continues to be one of the year’s most exciting events. This past weekend, at the Atlanta stop of the tour, they were joined by fellow Hot Girl rapper Latto on stage. But the fun didn’t stop after the show.

In a clip that has since gone viral, Latto and Glo are seen backstage having fun, and dancing to music. The two then swiftly move into a dance-off, as Meg and Glo’s collab “Wanna Be” plays in the background. Latto and Glo then see who can out-twerk the other.

While their competition appears to be friendly, Glo is sure that she was the winner of the twerk off.

“latto didn’t win dat dance battle let’s be fr,” said Glo in a tweet.

Latto, however, wasn’t having it, and asked her followers “Who gone tell her????”

Meg didn’t want smoke with anyone, and simply offered a reasonable suggestion.

“I think yall need a rematch,” said Meg.

But Latto is confident that she’s the clear winner.

“Aww Meg protecting ur feelings that’s a real friend,” said Latto.

Latto doubled down, reuploading a clip with a scoreboard at the bottom of the screen, which seems to indicated that she’s the winner.

You can see the clips above and decide for yourself.

Megan Thee Stallion And GloRilla Link Up With Flo Milli And Latto Backstage On Tour

Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla’s Hot Girl Summer tour has been a must-see event for fans of female rappers. The pair have already played a number of dates to sold-out stadiums where Megan has debuted new music and teased towards her upcoming new album. It was at one of her shows where fans first got the word that the project would be called Megan and they only have to wait a few more weeks to hear it. She revealed that the record will arrive later this month on June 28.

After a recent show there was once again a crossover between some of the biggest female rappers in the game. Just a few weeks ago the duo brought Cardi B out on stage with them. While there they teased the released of their upcoming collaboration, a Cardi-led remix of Meg and Glo’s song “Wanna Be.” The track dropped over the weekend and saw Cardi upping the stakes of her beef with BIA. But at an even more recent show, both Latto and Flo Milli showed up. Video is making the rounds online of the group seemingly having a lit celebration backstage. Check out the clip that’s being shared below.

Additionally in the comments, fans argue that this is the level of love there should always be among women rappers. “This is how it’s supposed to be with the rap girls! What are y’all beefing for???” one of the top comments on a repost of the video reads. “Not a Hater in sight.. we love to see it.. 😩😩🙏🏽” another comment agrees. Even in the biggest year for rap beef in recent memory, fans are clearly still here for rappers supporting and uplifting each other.

What do you think of some of the biggest female stars in rap music enjoying themselves backstage after a recent show? Do you agree with fans in the comments that there should be more love and support between women MCs? Let us know in the comment section below.

When Will Megan Thee Stallion’s Remix Of Latto’s ‘Sunday Service’ Come Out?

On Saturday (June 1), Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour rolled into Atlanta, where she reunited with local hot girl Latto. The “Budget” collaborators used the opportunity to debut a remix of Latto’s spring single, “Sunday Service,” leaving fans on social media clamoring for an official release.

When Is Megan Thee Stallion’s Remix Of Latto’s ‘Sunday Service’ Coming Out?

It should be noted that another high-profile remix track involving Megan Thee Stallion was also debuted at a live show shortly before its release. Megan & GloRilla brought out Cardi B to perform the “Wanna Be” remix ten days before its official release during their show in New York City. They later teased the track on social media before dropping it the day before their Atlanta show.

Megan also announced the impending release of her third studio album, Megan, on June 28 — which would also be a convenient time to release the “Sunday Service” remix, capitalizing on the release day buzz, especially if the song actually appears on the album. If not, a release anytime in the next three weeks would make great promotion for the album, as it’d increase Meg’s visibility without having to release a single and risk spoiling the surprise.

Latto Performs Remix Of “Sunday Service” With Megan Thee Stallion At Atlanta Show, Nicki Minaj’s Barbz Swoop In To Trash It

Megan Thee Stallion has been having a dominant 2024 so far and it is far from over. The Texas rapper is currently in the midst of her wildly successful Hot Girl Summer Tour, which kicked off a few weeks ago. Additionally, she just announced the release date and cover art for her third album Megan. The hyped project will drop on June 28 and is led by the explosive singles “Cobra”, “HISS”, and “BOA”. Speaking of “HISS”, that is another reason why is at her peak right now. Many declared that Nicki Minaj diss track as the better song that her rival’s, “Big Foot”. Now, Megan Thee Stallion and Latto are teaming up for a remix of the latter’s “Sunday Service”.

Fun fact, this is now the second new song and remix to be previewed during her worldwide trek. Not too long ago, GloRilla and Cardi B joined Meg onstage for a new version of “Wanna Be”, which is out now. That track saw the Bronx native take some shots at BIA in what has now led to a heated back and forth. “Sunday Service” is similar in that it contains some disses for female contemporaries, with the biggest targets being Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice. With Latto getting Megan for this remix, there is a good chance we could see some blows being traded.

But before Nicki could potentially hop in the booth, her staunchest supporters, the Barbz, are coming in to give their two cents. As expected, they are tearing it apart online, especially under The Neighborhood Talk‘s post on IG. “Notice how they never link up until they get into it with Nicki Minaj😂😂”, one user points out. “Nicki opps linking up for a flop song🦄”, another chimes in. One hater goes a step further, saying, “Awwwwww look at Nicki sons”. Have your popcorn at the ready, we could be in for another entertaining event.

What are your thoughts on this “Sunday Service” remix with Latto and Megan Thee Stallion? Do you think that there will be some shots from Megan to Nicki Minaj? What are your thoughts on the Barbz coming to defend her in the comments? Do you think this new version will be better than the original? TwoGether Land Festival Makes a Spectacular Debut in Dallas

Summer Walker | Lil Wayne | Latto

The inaugural TwoGether Land Festival, a partnership between ONE Musicfest and Live Nation Urban, transformed the historic Fair Park into a vibrant celebration of urban music and culture this past weekend. With headliners like Lil Wayne, Summer Walker, Latto, and Gucci Mane, the two-day event drew thousands of music enthusiasts to Dallas, establishing itself as the Southwest’s hottest new festival.

The festival kicked off with a bang, setting high expectations from the start. Gucci Mane’s entrance was nothing short of electrifying, as the crowd erupted in cheers at the sight of “1017” displayed on the screen. Gucci treated fans to an array of hits including “Lemonade,” “Wasted,” and “Freaky Girl.” A highlight of his performance was when he brought his wife, Keyshia Ka’oir, on stage to dance to “Freaky Girl,” dazzling the audience with her glamorous outfit.

Dru Hill also left a lasting impression, celebrating their 25th anniversary with a performance that felt like a nostalgic trip back to the ’90s. They paid tribute to the late DMX, encouraging fans to “put your X’s up” during a spirited rendition of “What These B****es Want.” Hits like “Beauty,” “These Are The Times,” and “In My Bed” had the crowd singing along in unison.

Summer Walker’s performance was another standout, opening with a striking electric guitar riff. Her set included hits like “Session 32,” “You Don’t Know What Love Is,” “Playing Games,” and “Over It,” enhanced by stunning lighting in shades of purple, pink, and gold. She was joined on stage by guest artists, including Dallas native 4batz, who gifted her a large Louis Vuitton bag, and Tink, who performed “Treat Me Like Somebody.”

Memorable Moments and Star-Studded Sightings

The festival wasn’t just about the music. Kenyon Dixon mingled with fans in the VIP section, posing for photos and signing autographs. Houston’s Tajah The DJ, and K104’s Tre G and Kayla Brinkley were spotted among the VIPs, along with Jason Lyric.

Latto kept the energy high, performing her hits and engaging with the audience by tossing water bottles into the crowd, much to their delight. Her dynamic presence added to the festival’s exhilarating atmosphere.

A Grand Finale by Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne closed out the festival with a captivating set that left fans in awe. His performance included a comprehensive catalog of his greatest hits, providing a perfect end to an unforgettable weekend. As the final notes echoed through Fair Park, attendees knew they had witnessed something special.

TwoGether Land’s Promising Future

With its debut, TwoGether Land has set a high bar for urban music festivals in the Southwest. The diverse lineup and vibrant performances, coupled with the sense of community and celebration, promise that TwoGether Land will become a staple event for years to come. As festival founder J. Carter noted, “We look forward to TwoGether Land becoming a must-attend event, much like ONE Musicfest.”

TwoGether Land has indeed answered Dallas’ call, uniting music lovers from all corners to celebrate the creativity and soul of Black music. The festival’s successful inaugural year hints at an even brighter future, with anticipation already building for next year’s event.

Angel Reese Is Hip-Hop’s Favorite WNBA Rookie

A month after being drafted with the seventh overall pick to the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese is living her best life. The WNBA rookie has become hip-hop’s favorite of the 2024 draft class, receiving support from Latto, who sat courtside for Reese’s debut game, Megan Thee Stallion, and GloRilla, joining the latter two on stage during the Chicago stop of their Hot Girl Summer Tour over this past weekend. This was, of course, after being featured in Latto’s “Put In Da Floor Again” video with Cardi B after her junior season at LSU.

The love for Reese among rappers was noted by fans on X (RIP, Twitter.com), who pointed out how she has generated much more buzz among that demographic than many of her peers in this much-hyped WNBA rookie class.

Meanwhile, on-court, Reese has lived up to the billing, averaging 11.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, an assist and a steal over her first two games in the league (both against the Dallas Wings, splitting wins between the two teams). Reese also attended the Met Gala in New York when her team played there in the preseason, proving she has the versatility to look just as good off the court as she has on it.

Latto Says Her Old Songs ‘Suck’ And That Her New Album Is ‘Washing’ Her Past Music

It’s been two years since Latto dropped her sophomore album, 777. The album boasted hits like “Sunshine,” “Sleep Sleep,” and “Big Energy.” As one can imagine, fans are eager for new music.

Latto has released several standalone singles while we wait for her new album, including “Put It On Da Floor,” “Lottery,” and “FTCU.” However, it seems like none of these songs will appear on her hotly anticipated third album.

Today (May 16), a fan took to Twitter to categorize Latto’s songs into three categories — Rap Latto, R&B Latto, and Pop Latto. They asked fans which of these categories of Latto they would prefer an album from, which caught the attention of the rapper herself.

“All these songs suck Album otw & it will be washing these,” Latto said in a quote tweet.

Outside of music, Latto has been keeping busy. She recently appeared at the Chicago Sky and Dallas Wings’ season-opener to support Angel Reese in her WNBA debut. She has also guest starred on shows like Grownish and has been working with Just Eat and Wing Stop on marketing campaigns.

But as Latto’s star continues to rise, people are dying to hear new music from her. And it looks like her promising third album may be arriving sooner rather than later.

Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark, Cameron Brink, and Kamilla Cardoso headline a potentially trajectory-altering rookie class for the WNBA, and the 2024 season tipped off this week. Reese’s debut with the Chicago Sky came against the Dallas Wings in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday night, May 15, and her magnetism was already apparent.

Latto sat courtside. When asked what brought her to the Sky and Wings’ season-opener, Latto plainly stated, “Angel Reese.” The multi-platinum rapper was also asked for her thoughts on the unprecedented attention surrounding the WNBA. “It’s the year of the woman, it’s the year of the female, it’s the year of the girl,” Latto said. “I’m here for the girl power, period. Let’s go, Angel Reese.”

Latto posted part of the clip on X (formerly Twitter), and Reese reposted it along with the message, “DUHHH!! THE BIGGEST [lips emoji]”

Roughly one year ago, Reese was fresh off capturing the first NCAA Division I basketball national championship in LSU history when she appeared in the video for Latto and Cardi B’s “Put It On Da Floor Again.” Reese also co-starred alongside Flau’jae Johnson, her now-former LSU teammate, in NLE Choppa’s “Champions” video.

Last month, Chicago drafted Reese at No. 7 overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft. The 22-year-old star forward posted 12 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal in her W debut, a 87-79 loss to Dallas. The Sky will remain in Dallas to play the Wings again on Saturday, May 18.

Latto Pulled Up To Angel Reese’s WNBA Debut In Style

Latto’s presence at Angel Reese’s WNBA debut was not just a show of support but also a recognition of the impact of the league’s rookie class. The rapper, who had made a point to be in the city, was there to witness the former LSU Tigers women’s basketball player Angel Reese’s debut at Arlington, Texas’ College Park Center. This WNBA season, with its impressive rookie class led by players like Angel Reese, is already making a significant mark on the league. Combined with the stars already present, the WNBA is on track for exponential growth this summer. Latto’s words, ‘I had to pull up and show love to the ladies on their big night,’ echoed the audience’s excitement for the league’s future.

Latto gave her perspective on the current WNBA buzz after stating that she had come to see Angel Reese in action. Latto says it’s time for the women to take center stage. She said of the occasion, “It’s the year of the woman, it’s the year of the female, it’s the year of the girl,” she said during a courtside interview. “I’m here for the girl power period. Let’s go Angel Reese.” It is amazing to see the support Angle Reese is getting. All in all, the future is looking bright.

Latto Witnesses Angel Reese’s WNBA Debut

Latto said of Angel Reese’s debut, “I love Texas, but I did want to be at her first game. You know everybody going to come later, but we did it first.” After the game, Latto and Angel Reese took pics before the rapper left for her next destination. “I came here strictly for Angel Reese, I’m out,” she said before boarding the plane. It was a nice show of support from Latto and an encouraging first game for Reese.

Like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese started off slow. She got her first points in the second quarter with some free throws after struggling a bit in the first. After the first half, Reese scored her first official field goal and finished the game with a solid stat line of 12 points and 8 rebounds, chipping in a steal. Overall, Latto is not going to be the last big name to show up in the WNBA games this season.
