Fans Believe Drake Called Hip-Hop “Weird” But That’s Not Really What Happened

Drake is currently in the midst of a social media firestorm due to his recent appearance on xQc’s Kick stream. Overall, Drizzy was only on the stream because he is sponsored by Stake, which owns the Kick streaming service. xQc is their top creator ever since the exodus of Adin Ross, so it only makes sense that Drake would be employed to pull up. However, the timing was unique given the fact that Kendrick Lamar released an album with GNX on Friday.

Of course, fans were interested to see if Drake was going to have anything to say about the album or his rap rival as a whole. In the end, there were a lot of shots taken throughout the livestream. He poked fun at Kendrick, The Weeknd, Steve Lacy, and even the West Coast as a whole. However, one comment, in particular, had fans up in arms. At one point, he says “rap music weird now anyway.” This sent many fans into a spiral, with some proclaiming that Drake doesn’t even respect the genre anymore. While this makes for great headlines, it is a misrepresentation of what happened.

Drake With An Interesting Comment

According to numerous community notes on X, it was noted how Drake was actually just reading a comment from the livestream’s chat. When you analyze where he was looking and how he said it, it was pretty clear that he was reading the flurry of comments that were coming in. While Drake has made quite a few missteps in 2024, it is important to remain level-headed when these kinds of things happen. Sure, it is easy to dunk on him, but you have to maintain some objectivity here.

Twitter sure does love to run away with narratives, and this was a prime example of that in action. Only time will tell whether or not the internet apologizes to Drizzy for misinterpreting what went down. If there is anything we know about online culture, it is that an apology will likely never come.

The song is supposedly called “Discontinuing Wokhardt.” Based on the lyrics, they appear to be an anthem on quitting lean addiction. Drake has allegedly had issues with the drug in the past. Meanwhile, Adin Ross has been very open about the fact that he struggles with lean addiction. While listening to the song, Adin was actually confused as to why he, in particular, was given this opportunity. However, he eventually put two and two together.

“Wait, I just realized — why’d they have me preview that? Is it because I was on lean? I’m not on lean no more. And how does The Boy know about — yeah, nah, he’s tapped in. Damn, that was hard,” Ross said. For now, it remains to be seen whether or not this Drake and Durk song will come out anytime soon. If it does, we’re sure fans will be extremely tapped in. Drake Linked To Streamer Accused Of Exploiting Minors For Revenge Porn

Drake is on the of a PR nightmare. The rapper was in the process of moving on from the Kendrick Lamar battle, and doing so effectively. He dropped “100 Gigs” of content for fans, and teased a collab album with PARTYNEXTDOOR. Unfortunately, dirt from the rapper’s past has been dug up. Drake went on a Kick stream with a woman who goes by the name Snoh. The rapper has given Snoh shout outs in the past, and urged fans to give her a follow. The streamer, however, has been accused of coercing and manipulating minors into performing sexual acts.

Snoh has been accused of making “revenge porn” in which she convinces girls to show off parts of their body on a stream, and then records them without consent. There are allegations that the streamer does this with underage girls as well, but again, nothing has been proven. What has been proven, though, is the fact that Snoh and Drake seemingly have a good relationship. Drake has urged people to follow the streamer’s account, and has even appeared on streams himself. One such stream, which was deleted but was subsequently dug up by fans, is not a good look.

Drake Has Urged Fans To Follow The Kick Streamer

Drake appears on the stream with Snoh and a girl who is clearly identified as 18 years old. The clip in isolation is harmless, as the girl and her friend attempt to determine if it’s really Drake or someone who looks like him. In the context of what Snoh has been accused of, though, it’s alarming. The Twitter profile sum_offfff posted the aforementioned clip of Drake. The profile also dug up footage of Snoh coercing a number of different people to show off their bodies on camera. It’s pretty damning.

Drake has, obviously, a dubious track record when it comes to interaction with younger women. Kendrick Lamar based most of his diss campaign on this very suspicion. Dot alluded to these borderline, or maybe even illegal behavior on “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us.” The latter turned a joke about Drake and minors into one of the catchiest phrases of the year. Drizzy adamantly denied these accusations on the song “The Heart Part 6.” As many will remember, though, the rapper’s rebuttal was not the most well received.

Recently, Vitaly claimed that he paid Quavo $300K to show up for a pedophile hunting stream. Vitaly has done these streams with the likes of Ty Dolla Sign, YG, and even The Game, in the past.

However, in the clip below, Vitaly explains that he allegedly gave Quavo the money, but he never showed up. This is similar to the situation involving Playboi Carti and Adin Ross, who are still in a bit of a public feud, to this day. Below, you can see that Vitaly had a vitriolic response to all of this that can certainly be classified as racism. As Vitaly told Myron from Fresh & Fit, Quavo’s absence must have been a “black people thing.”

Kick streamers Zherka and Heelmike have been permanently banned from the Stake-owned platform after allegedly soliciting minors over the weekend. Overall, this all stems from a stream in which Zherka and Heelmike were allegedly with a 16-year-old girl. In fact, there is an imagine floating around of Heelmike allegedly sleeping next to the girl, with the caption “Zero regrets goodnight.” When Heelmike was called out mid-stream for his alleged actions, all he had to say was “I love [teenagers], so get the f*** out of here f****t.”

It was a shocking situation that subsequently led to his ban. Moreover, with fans calling for both Heelmike and Zherka to be arrested, the two took to social media where they attempted to clear their names. Firstly, Heelmike claims that he was set up and that he and Zherka did not know the girl’s age. Furthermore, he claims that they kicked her out immediately upon finding out she was 16. As for the image of Heelmike in bed with an unidentified person, he claims that the girl was someone else, and not the alleged 16-year-old.

Zherka & Heelmike Claim They Were Setup

Zherka also chimed in, noting that he ID-checked the girl and took every step to ensure safety. Additionally, he went on to blame the worker, just like Heelmike did. Either way, this is a horrific situation, and it remains to be seen whether or not authorities will be getting involved.

The two were out in Los Angeles where they went pedophile hunting. This is essentially the act of posing as young girls online to meet up with older men. Although these types of videos and live streams make for great content, they can sometimes devolve into vigilante missions without a true purpose. In the video below, you can see Ty and Vitaly chasing down an alleged predator, and they eventually corner him against a wall. This subsequently leads to them throwing a fake grenade that detonates just a bit of smoke.

Some speculated that the man passed away, however, others claim that he is still alive. Needless to say, this stream was not a good look for Kick, and an even more bizarre look for Ty and his brand.
