At the end of the day, these places helped shape them into who they are today. All of these years later, it is cool to see Meek putting on for Philly, while making sure he always gives back. Moreover, he has gotten himself involved in the politics of the city. Meek has become increasingly political over the years, and it was a given that he would want to make the city its best version of itself.

Furthermore, when someone says something inaccurate about the city for a political agenda, he is going to call that out. For instance, recently, President Joe Biden spoke about Philadelphia and how there are gun deals happening there. He described a scene in which vans were pulling up and deals were taking place, both in Philly and New York City. Biden is saying that these kinds of acts will come with a harsher punishment. However, Meek isn’t so sure any of this is actually happening right now.

“Gotta be the army pulling up with trucks of guns in Philly,” Meek said. “This not true unless he know something we don’t know!” Meek definitely makes a good point. A lot of the time, claims are made and there is little evidence to support it. When it comes to political agendas, that is very much a tactic. Crime is something that is on a lot of people’s minds right now, and there has been a lot of pressure to crack down on it. However, many have suggested that the crime wave perpetuated by politicians is simply overblown.

As a Bronx, New York native, Cardi was furious to learn about New York City’s recent proposed budget cuts. In an Instagram livestream, Cardi expressed anger about the pullbacks from the area’s public libraries, local schools, and more. She wasn’t afraid to tie President Joe Biden and New York City’s mayor Eric Adams into the fold.

“I’m an angry b*tch right now… I need y’all to spread this video, and if something happens to me, it’s because I’m speaking the truth,” said Cardi. “In New York, there is a $120 million budget cut that’s going to affect schools, public libraries, and the police department. And a $5 million budget cut in sanitation. B*tch, we are gonna be drowning in f**king rats.

“I’m lucky. I’m blessed,” she added. “I’m whatever the f*ck, but what’s going to happen to my nieces? What’s going to happen to nephews? What’s going to happen to my cousins, aunts, and my friends.”

Cardi has spoken out on several social issues, including inflation’s impact on the cost of groceries. She even lent her likeness to President Biden for his election campaign, but apparently, that is something we will no longer do moving forward.

Joe Biden Renews Promise To End Junk Fees, IRS Vows To Crack Down On Ticket Resellers

The IRS has announced plans to crack down on the lucrative ticket resale industry. New reports indicate that the IRS will be more stringently tracking and taxing ticket resellers who make more than $600 from resale each year. Furthermore, sites such as Ticketmaster and StubHub will be required to provide the agency with information about resellers who use their site.

The move comes amid a renewal of President Joe Biden’s goal of ending junk fees. The removal of junk fees has been something the President has long targeted with the end goal of increasing financial transparency for American shoppers. “Concert tickets are hard enough to get, you shouldn’t have to pay surprise service fees on top of that. My Administration is working to crack down on those junk fees, so you know what you are paying for upfront,” @POTUS tweeted on September 23. The issue became national news earlier this year in regard to the sale of Taylor Swift for her Eras Tour.

However, President Biden is not the most popular man right now. A recent bipartisan NBC poll showed that Americans overwhelmingly disapprove of how Biden has handled the economy. Furthermore, 56% of the 1000 people asked disapprove of Biden’s presidency. However, 44% of voters said they felt “very negatively” about Donald Trump, with 54% in total saying they felt negatively about Trump in some fashion. The poll was a bipartisan effort conducted by Republican pollster Bill McInturff and Democrat pollster Jeff Horwitt.

“This survey is a startling flashing red light for an incumbent party,” McInturff said. “Yes, the numbers for Biden aren’t where he needs them to be. But the lens for most voters is still through Donald Trump first,” Horwitt countered. The biggest issues for the two presumptive candidates were age and criminality. 74% of respondents said they had concerns about Biden’s age and health. Meanwhile, 62% said they were concerned about Trump’s ongoing legal troubles. As a result, the head-to-head race sees the pair tied in a hypothetical election with 46% of the vote each.

Contrary to the reporting of other outlets, the moment did not “blow up” on X, formerly Twitter. Instead, the clip was reposted by an official Republican Twitter account. In the comments of that video, Republicans referred to Biden and the Democrats as the “party of slavery and Jim Crow laws” and lamented that the Black community continues to back the party. However, the incident, while egregious, was quickly lost amid various other right-wing targets, including a recent speech Biden gave about gun control this week.
