Tyga & Floyd Mayweather Accused Of Violating RICO Act In Massive Lawsuit

Tyga, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and The Money Team are facing accusations of RICO violations, fraud, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and more, in a new lawsuit brought by jeweler Leonard Sulaymanov. According to documents caught by AllHipHop, Sulaymanov is accusing them of refusing to pay for luxury watches and other jewelry.

“Mayweather, TMT, and possibly others have systematically created, participated and engaged in what can be described as a quasi-criminal, money laundering scheme involving high-end, rare and exclusive luxury watches and jewelry,” Sulaymanov’s lawyers claimed. “The Defendants, acting in concert and with other financially incentivized third parties, will purchase/acquire luxury watches by soliciting watch brokers, like Plaintiffs herein, and offering them upfront cash with payment terms in exchange for the purchase of watches and jewelry, with no intention of paying off the total balances.”

Tyga Attends Cannes Film Festival

Sulaymanov further cited a number of meetings in 2021 with Mayweather’s associate, Jona Rechnitz. He claims the legendary boxer agreed to make several purchases amounting to a bill of $4,151,157. Rechnitz allegedly made an initial downpayment of $90,000, followed by another $177,000 payment, before he introduced him to Tyga in Las Vegas. The rapper agreed to buy a Rolex for $79,000 but allegedly didn’t make any initial payments on it. As time went on with no further payments being made by either party, Sulaymanov decided to take legal action.

“Defendants … take possession of watches and jewelry, demanding formal paperwork, boxes and warranties, request repayment terms with upfront cash deposits, only to refuse to pay the full price for said items and in some instances, claim they never ‘purchased’ the item but rather it was ‘gifted’ to them because of their fame and status,” Sulaymanov’s lawyers noted. “Lawsuits around the country have been filed in recent years against said Defendants.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Tyga on HotNewHipHop.

42 Dugg Hits Jeweler After Release

Despite his incarceration, Dugg was still able to drop new music. Back in July, he came through with an energetic banger called “One Time.” The track shouted out the real one who stuck with him despite his time in prison. Even earlier this year he teamed up with Babyface Ray for the track “Ron Artest” which paid tribute to the former-Laker.

Around the time he was releasing that track, things looked pretty shaky for Dugg. After pleading guilty in March he faced up to five years in prison and thankfully had his sentence lightened. Getting it dropped down to just a year and being released when he was is seen by many as a major win for Dugg. What do you think of 42 Dugg hitting the jeweler right after getting out of prison? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj Targeted by Jeweler Who Claims She Damaged Rented Pieces

Nicki Minaj Covid

Nicki Minaj is the target of a lawsuit by a West Hollywood jeweler who states the rapper damaged jewelry that she rented.

The jeweler, Roseark, agreed with Minaj’s stylist, Brett Alan Nelson, to lease jewelry for a public appearance. They are not suing to state Nelson didn’t return the 66 pieces of jewelry on time, and there was notable damage to a set of earrings and a leaf ring.

Minaj’s attorney states the rapper isn’t responsible, and the jeweler is attempting to gain publicity off her name. An additional source tells TMZ everything was on time and within the store’s possession for a while before any complaints came.

Roseark issued an invoice for damage at a total of $26,239.50 plus interest but have not been paid.

In an additional statement to TMZ, Nicki’s attorney says, “We have not been presented with any evidence that any of the jewelry at issue was damaged by Nicki. This lawsuit appears to be nothing more than an ordinary insurance claim by the jeweler designed to generate publicity for itself and extract a payment to which it is not entitled. We will defend the lawsuit vigorously.”

Jake Paul Is Lying About Floyd Mayweather Miami Incident, Says Floyd’s Jeweler

Floyd Mayweather’s jeweler Shuki International said that Jake Paul is lying about their recent altercation in Miami. For those unaware, the two rivals ran into each other after a Miami Heat game and exchanged words- almost punches. On Paul’s side of the story, he said that Floyd and 50 people from his entourage waited to confront the social media provocateur outside the stadium. Upon seeing the large crowd, he says that he ran because it was too many to fight, while fronting that it’s not that he was scared. However, given that Shuki was there at the time of the incident, he said things were actually much different.

“Jake is exaggerating,” the jeweler told TMZ in an exclusive clip. Also, he claimed that neither the boxer nor his crew sought out Paul, chalking up the crossover to a complete coincidence. “We just finished the game, pulled out, and Jake was there. Floyd was with his eight bodyguards. And [Jake] just run like a rabbit.” The feud seems to not be slowing down anytime soon, especially given Paul doubling down on it.

“I’m tough,” he said while responding to coverage of the incident and explaining his perspective and account. “I don’t need to prove my toughness, but I’m not f***ing dumb. I’m not gonna sit there and try to fight 50 dudes.” Furthermore, he claims that he fled because he was responding to acts, appearances, or threats of aggression. Still, from Shuki’s tale, it seems that he might’ve just spotted Floyd and ran away to avoid a larger confrontation.

Despite that, the jeweler actually suggested that there are some unpaid debts when it comes to their feud. Moreover, he seemed to suggest that the coincidental encounters could become maliciously planned if Paul doesn’t apologize. “He’s gotta do the right thing,” he told TMZ, affirming that Floyd still has beef with Paul for stealing his hat. “He’s gotta respect the world champion.” Whatever happens next, Shuki seems to be trying to tell us that this was just the beginning. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Floyd Mayweather and Jake Paul.
