Earlier this week, Usher announced the return of his nostalgia-packed festival, Lovers & Friends, bringing both excitement and confusion from fans of turn-of-the-millennium hip-hop and R&B. Both emotions were largely reactions to the same thing: The sheer number of artists listed on the flyer, from headliners Backstreet Boys, Janet Jackson, and Snoop Dogg to the one-hit-wonders hovering near the bottom of the list like Lumidee, J-Kwon, and Iyaz.

On one hand, there wer enough to justify the price of the ticket (and standing up for hours on end) for the millennials who came of age during the 2000s, but on the other, there are so many names, it’s hard to believe that they would all fit in just one day when the festival returns to Las Vegas Festival Grounds on May 4. However, that certainly seems to be what the organizers will attempt to do, as the festival’s flyer only advertises a one-day event.

This reflects the flyer for the original event way back in 2020, when dozens of names were stuffed onto the flyer. However, after the initial confusion about who all was actually booked was cleared up, the festival added a second day, allowing for some adjustments to the lineup, and presumably, more equitable distribution of time slots. However, as with so many other events that year, Lovers & Friends was postponed, then moved to Las Vegas when it finally returned in 2022.

For those last two iterations, it remained a one-day festival, with last year’s concert headlined by Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, and Pitbull. So, it stands to reason that it will continue to be a one-day festival, but as the lineup continues to expand year after year, its fans would almost certainly love to see it expand once again to accommodate all those early-aughts favorites. Users creeping through the Texas native’s likes saw that she seemingly agreed with another account unimpressed with Janet’s tour prices being similarly priced to her daughter’s. “You want Beyonce prices, have real production. Just disgusted. I’m not the only one… oh the DMs I’m getting. Way to thank your fans for years of support,” the message in question says. After hearing the internet’s theories about drama unfolding between Lawson and Jackson, the former got on Instagram to clear the air.

“I am saddened by this. Janet Jackson is an icon and I would never question another artist. I know now not to be in a rush and to be very careful. (I learned my lesson)! Especially when I have so much going on. I just wanted to clarify. I do know that you can see people’s likes so I would be pretty [foolish] to do that .”

Following a successful run in 2023, Janet Jackson’s Together Again Tour will return with a vengeance this spring. Today (January 16), the “All For You” singer unveiled the massive 43-date schedule featuring special guest Nelly.

Jackson’s Together Again Tour celebrates many milestones, including the entertainer’s half-century-long career. During the live shows, Jackson will honor the anniversaries of many of her greatest albums (25th of The Velvet Rope, 30th of Janet, and the 35th for Rhythm Nation). With so many iconic records to perform, fans are desperate to get their hands on tickets for the tour.

So, with the Together Again Tour set to launch in March, potential patrons wonder just how much a pair of tickets will set them back.

How Much Are Tickets For Janet Jackson’s 2024 ‘Together Again Tour?’

The official price for the 2024 Together Again Tour list won’t be revealed until the presale on Wednesday, January 17. However, it is safe to assume that tickets could mirror last year’s run. Pulling from Jackson’s concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Texas, tickets could range from $39.95 to $499.95. On the past event’s landing page, the cost of tickets (not including VIP packages) is broken into three sections.

At the 16,500-capacity venue, the lowest price point was for the lawn area, which started at $39.95. The next price point range for the middle section was listed between $59.95 and $299.95. The pavilion’s final section (pit), nearest the stage, ran ticket holders between $299.95 and $499.95. Again, these prices haven’t been confirmed but are a starting point.

Janet Jackson‘s Together Again tour, which ran for 36 sold-out shows last year, became the highest-selling tour of her career. Today, she announced that she’s added another 35 dates for this summer, hitting arenas and amphitheaters across North America.
