Lil Uzi Vert and City Girl’s 1/2 JT have been rumored to be an item since late 2019. While neither has publically confirmed their relationship, they have both dropped hints on their social media and in their song lyrics suggesting they might be a little more than friends. Just the other day in a quick tweet-and-delete, the “Lo Mein” rapper mentioned he had “turnt a hoe to a house wife,” while JT implied she had “turnt a trick to my husband.” While the tweets may have been just banter, the new Eliantte-sized rock the Miami-bred artist donned in some new selfies suggest her and Uzi may have been serious. 

The 28-year-old shared a series of captionless mirror-selfies to her Twitter account Friday (February 26), striking seductive glances to the camera. While she looked beautiful in the selfies, all eyes were focused on the giant diamond-encrusted rock sitting pretty on her right-ring finger. Fans of the “Winnin'” rapper instantly recognized the ring as a custom Elliot Eliantte ring that Uzi had commissioned way back in 2019. 

Uzi is a huge fan of the jeweler and enlisted him to customize the $24 million pink diamond on his forehead. Check out a close-up of the flashy pink-diamond ring below. 

It seems like the ring has been in Uzi’s possession for quite some time and decided to pass it off to JT, which suggests their relationship may be advancing. We’ll keep you updated on any more news about the fiery duo. 

Scott Disick’s 19-year-old girlfriend Amelia Gray Hamlin has come under fire recently for some allegations that she was “blackfishing” in a recent Instagram post. The term “blackfishing” was coined by journalist Wanna Thompson and describes the trend of non-black influencers, models, and celebrities using tanner, Photoshop, surgery, or other tools to appear Black or mixed race. It’s a term that has actually become rather familiar to the Kardashian family as a whole, as they’ve often been at the center of blackfishing accusations. Not today, though.

The post that got Amelia in trouble is one where she is wearing a long braid and hoop earrings, and her skin looks significantly tanner than usual. She’s shown playfully holding up the braid in the series of three photos, captioning them, “whiplash got me like……” She has since disabled comments on the post. 

Amelia issued an apology to the criticisms on her Instagram story on Thursday night. She wrote,

“I’m receiving a lot of comments in regards to my latest photo. I am being told that I am ‘Black fishing’ — thank you all for educating me on this topic. I recently went on vacation to the sun, and with my Italian heritage I tan very easily. There is no self tanner involved, or intention of looking darker than my own natural skin color. I had a lot of fun creating this look with no malice intention or offense.”

Some people called her apology disingenuous.

This season was looking promising for the Boston Celtics who boast the talents of players like Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, and Kemba Walker. Unfortunately, the team has been having troubles throughout the month of February and was even on a three-game losing streak heading into their match against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. 

Tatum ended up having an abysmal performance in which he was only able to put up 9 points, which was a continuation of his recent struggles. Luckily for the Celtics, Walker went on a tear and was able to get his team back in position to win, which is exactly what they did, by a score of 118-112.

The win finally put the Celtics back in the win column and brought their record to 16-17. With their current record, the Celtics were in danger of being pushed out of a playoff spot, but now, they are hanging onto the sixth spot, where they are surrounded by teams like the New York Knicks, Pacers, Heat, and even the Raptors.

Kemba’s performance should certainly give this team some confidence moving forward, as they look to secure their spot in the playoffs, which will go down later in the Spring. This Celtics team has a ton of talent, and it would be disappointing to not see that talent fully realized.

After President Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris assumed office at the top of the year, many people exhaled a sigh of relief, confident that the days of coronavirus might finally be behind the American people. Unfortunately, however, Biden has yet to enact a wide-sweeping plan to fully move past the pandemic-state. Even with the vaccination plan rolling out, the United States will likely not be in recovery mode for a little while. Touring artists are continuing to feel the effects of the lasting lockdown, with Taylor Swift announcing Friday (February 26) that she “cannot reschedule the shows that we’ve postponed” of her two-city “Lover Fest” tour announced back in September of 2019.

“I love coming on here to tell you good news, or to share a new project with you,” Swift penned in a statement shared to Twitter. “It’s not my favorite thing in the world to have to tell you news I’m sad about. I’m so sorry, but I cannot reschedule the shows that we’ve postponed. Although refunds have been available since we first postponed the Lover Fest shows, many of you hung onto your tickets and I too hung onto the idea that we could reschedule.”

“This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” the statement continued.

She concluded, “I’m so disappointed that I won’t be able to see you in person as soon as I wanted to. I miss you terribly and can’t wait til we can all safely be at shows together again.”

The 31-year-old hitmaker canceled her 2020 tour dates in April of last year due to the worsening COVID-19 pandemic. Despite not touring, however, Swift has been keeping fans fed and happy with new music. She released her evermore and folklore albums last year, and has been busy re-recording her early music in a move to free herself from the grasp of Scooter Braun owning her masters.

Rumors have been flowing this week about Russell Wilson and his current standing with the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson has been with the team since the start of his career and he even won a Super Bowl with them back in 2014. Throughout the years, Wilson has turned into an elite superstar quarterback, that some fans believe is untouchable. That narrative seems to be dwindling, however, as there seems to be a rift between Wilson and the Seahawks franchise.

In a new report from The Athletic, it was revealed that Wilson has actually been annoyed with head coach Pete Carroll and his sons Nate and Brennan. The report states that Wilson feels like the Carroll’s are never held accountable and it has led to a tumultuous few seasons.

This report comes after news that Wilson has approached the Seahawks with potential trade destinations if the team decides to move on. It’s a pretty drastic turn of events especially when you consider how the team made Wilson the highest-paid quarterback in the league at the time, back in 2019.

Before announcing she was expecting a baby with Atlanta-bred producer London on da Track, Summer Walker was considerably more reclusive in the social media realm. Her relationship with the producer has been quite tumultuous since then, however, and the “Body” singer has been taking to social media to vent about her frustrations. She shared shots from her baby shower on her Instagram page earlier in the week, letting fans in on the intimate ceremony. Glowing in the social-media-approved posts, the private singer went in on “weirdos” who leaked exclusive shots from the event as well as some of her new music.

“Who ever posting personal pics from my baby shower you lame and who ever leaking my unreleased music you even more lame,” she penned in her Instagram story Friday (February 26) with a straight-face emoji.  

“Weirdos,” she followed up simply in a second story post. Summer shared a shot of her lilac, blue and pink-themed baby shower to her page two days ago, posing in front of dozens of gifts and balloons. “I would like to thank everyone who contributed to making my baby shower a very special moment , it was beautiful & everyone had such a great time,” she penned in the caption.

It is unclear who exactly Summer is aiming her message at, but they must be in relative closer proximity to the songstress to even have gained access to the baby-shower space. She recently flaunted her swelling belly bump in the new visualizer for Over It standout track “Body.” Check it out below.
